An 18-year-old black male was murdered yesterday.

Two black males were seen fleeing in a black Murano.

One suspect has been apprehended,

and we're now looking for the other today.

.40 caliber spent casings were recovered at the crime scene,

and we're now trying to find that murder weapon.

All units are on the lookout for anything suspicious.

because this car matches the description

of the vehicle used in yesterday's murder.

And the shell casings match the caliber of the gun.

So the car, the people,

and the firearm are all of interest to us.

so there's got to be a weapon around here somewhere.

We didn't find anything in the Murano.

So we're now searching the immediate area

for the firearm that we believe

was probably used in yesterday's murder.

When I pull up, I hear the boom from the crash.

I just seen a big guy running back here,

and then he runs back up.

Then a few minutes later,

the little skinny guy with the dreads comes running out.

When the officers first arrived at the scene,

they saw one of the suspects running from the wooded lot.

The only reason that I can think of

these boys were running back there

is if they were trying to get rid of some kind of evidence.

This could very well be the gun

that was used in yesterday's murder.
