A lot of times when these guys run from the police,

Usually when somebody's running from us,

they're running for a reason.

Usually they have drugs or a gun or something.

So we're going to just go back and see if we can find anything.

It's not uncommon for them to discard something

when being pursued by officers.

and we're just trying to make sure

he's often talked about these type of remedies.

I don't know if I'd be into any type of acupuncture,

if that's, in fact, what this particular doctor does,

as far as something for medicinal value...

a salve, an oil, or something like that.

The other day, Steven turned me into a pin cushion.

And, surprisingly, it didn't hurt.

So now I'm back to see if I can get some relief for my knee.

I had arthroscopic surgery.

I had a torn meniscus and a torn ACL.

We've been chasing suspects all week.

I'd be willing to try anything to try to get some relief

for this pressure that's on my knee.

>> ouch.

Yes, very tender, thank you.

So now we're going to have acupuncture,

which I swore I didn't think I would ever do.

>> well, a week ago, this would have been unthinkable,

but he's in the other room with the doctor

getting acupuncture right now.

I'm not hearing any screaming, so it's kind of a miracle.

I seem to be getting some relief.

I knew absolutely nothing about the type of treatment

that these doctors offer.

I figure by the time I walk out of here tonight,

I should be able to run very fast,

and we'll be back on the street doing what we do best,

And that's catching the bad guys.

I think I may have just gotten over my fear of needles.

Surprising as it seems, I am feeling relief immediately.
