You're a mute?

Don't be afraid, come...

Bastard!

Are you alright, my child?

Don't worry, you're fine...

Luckily Master Liu is here tonight.

Wait, who are you?

I'm Xiao Tianzun, a student of Yun Mountain Sect,

It's a silly mistake, please spare my life.

I'm a friend of your master's.

I can't imagine that he has such a student.

Could you be old Master Liu, Wind Chasing Knife?

Please spare my life, for the sake of my master.

Dad, you can't spare his life.

Right, I must kill him.

Wait.

Setting him free might bring around a future calamity.

You stay out of it

I wish you would go back on the right track.

But I must teach you a lesson.

Still recognise me?

It's never too late for revenge.

Off the horse.

Dad.

Wait.

Mind your own business.

Off the horse.

Dad.

Xiao Tianzun.

In the past 3 years you haven't reformed yourself;

On the contrary you've joined an evil sect,

and murdered your master's family.

You've become the infamous rapist.

Draw your knife.

Don't worry.

I won't let you die in the middle of nowhere.

I've told your eighteen students

to pick up your body.

Second Brother...

Second Brother...

Have you found the master?

Not yet, I fear something untoward happened enroute.

Eldest brother.

Let's split up.

Sure.

Liu Peng.

You hated what I did three years ago,

and you left a scar on my chest.

Today I want you to watch me with your daughter.

I've had my share of women,

but that was the best.

So?

You two must've

had a great time watching.

I regret that I listened to you,

I should have killed you then.

You spared my life, I'll give you a chance.

Let's have a duel. Get up! Draw.

Wait.

Dad's sick,

it's not fair.

I want you to watch your dad die.

Dad.

Liu Peng.

You left a cross on my chest then.

I'm going to leave you ten crosses.

Dad !

I'll show you the fall of a hero.

Dad.

Master.

Xiao Tianzun did it.

Xiao Tianzun!

I'll let you join your master.

He's in heaven now.

You return evil for good.

You would be dead

if my master didn't spare your life three years ago.

Well, you can only blame him for that.

But today...

I will spare none.

Wait.

Since we lost, you can kill us if you want.

But I have a favour to ask.

No. 17, 18 are young.

They've just joined, they don't know any martial arts.

lf you have mercy,

please let them go.

Eldest brother, we're not scared.

We'll die together today.

Very well.

Kill him! Go!

Xiao Tianzun, since you've got us.

Kill us all.

I don't like to do that.

That way it will be too easy for you.

I want to watch you suffer,

I want you to die slowly, painfully.

For anyone who has been wounded by my poisonous sword,

it's always ever so painful.

Don't even think about it.

Younger brother...

I can't take this.

Tell the Second brother.

Tell? You...

Second brother.

He can't see us.

Quick, hurry.

Second brother, don't go.

I got it, we must scream.

Third brother.

Eldest brother.

Eldest brother...

Go to the capital and look for Xiao Tianzun.

Have you seen him?

He's already at the Swallow Valley.

Fine, you can go now.

I'll wait for him at the Ten Mile lnn.

His master hurt me there,

I want him to die there today.

It's your fault.

Why did you let Wang Wu follow the others?

Sister, will you stop complaining?

You know this is a rough path.

There are lots of bandits within the ten miles

out of Qinghe County.

If we don't follow the Peng Family,

I fear that we won't make it to the capital.

Which Peng Family?

Wang Wu said he's an official in Hangzhou.

Their carts are loaded with jewellery and money.

Or else there wouldn't be so many escorts.

Too bad our brother isn't here,

I feel better following them.

What's going on?

Bandits.

Ladies...there are bandits.

Kill!

Go

Help!

Help!

Get away

Help!

Let's go...

Let's go...

Brave man, please wait.

Brave man, you've saved our lives,

how should we thank you?

There's no need.

At least tell us your name.

My name is Luo Han.

Luo Han.

Please wait, hero.

The ladies are

the younger sisters of Senior lmperial Guard Kang.

Their mother passed away.

I'm here to escort them to the capital.

If not for you,

I shudder to imagine the state we would be in.

That's why the two ladies...

We'll never forget what you've done for us,

please let us repay our gratitude in the future.

It's no big deal.

Sorry I can't escort you further, I've an urgent matter

Please be careful.

Welcome.

Please take a seat.

Where's your daughter?

She's married.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Give me some good wine and food.

And...

What else?

A rope.

A rope?

I've killed your benefactor.

All except one of his students;

The one who seeks revenge for him.

I need a rope

so that I can hang him outside.

Show you what happens to your benefactor's student.

Get me a rope.

Follow me.

Don't say a word.

I must give the message to Master Liu's student.

Tell him not to come here.

Run for your life!

The faster the better.

Hide! Now.

I'll block him.

Hero.

Are you Liu Peng's student?

And you are?

Owner of the Ten Mile Inn.

Your master saved my family.

Xiao Tianzun is at the inn now.

I'm about to look for him.

Don't go, brave man.

Mind your own business.

Wait.

You can't take revenge if you are so rash.

To succeed you must find the precious knife first.

Where from?

It's not that hard.

A customer told me

a few days ago that only

the Hulong Knife can beat the Evil Poisonous Sword.

He's a friend of your master's.

He knows about the knife.

Where is it?

If you'd make a trip to the capital,

he'll hand you the knife.

No! It's not easy for me to find him,

I can't let him escape.

Brave man...don't.

What else did he tell you?

He said what goes around comes around.

And this is yours.

Xiao Tianzun, come out!

Those who are above and below listen up,

I let you go earlier.

Not only you don't appreciate, you want to ambush me?

You've gone too far.

If you're able, you wouldn't be bandits.

I suggest you leave now.

After I fling out the chopsticks,

and still find you here;

Then I wouldn't be polite anymore.

The last four.

What's your background, friend?

I don't know what you're trying to do.

You must be the chief of the bandits?

One shouldn't block others' chance to make money.

Since you meddled with us,

we wouldn't let you get away.

I didn't want to fight,

but since you want to...

I told you not to, but you insisted.

Xiao Tianzun, what did my relative do to you?

Why did you kill his family?

You've got the wrong person, who are you?

I'm the owner's nephew.

Could you be Liu Peng's student?

I too was about to look for Xiao Tianzun.

Wait.

My uncle was killed by Xiao Tianzun

after he gave you the message.

Before he died, he told me to tell you that

only the Hulong Knife can take care of Xiao Tianzun.

l appreciate what he did.

Good bye.

Come here.

This rapist has got some nerve,

he has ruined many women.

''KNIVES''

Do you have any knives for sale?

That's a good joke.

I have a store selling knives here.

Pick one.

Do you have any nice ones?

Nice ones? Yes.

Can you afford it?

How much?

Eight hundred to a thousand.

I'll pay if it's worth it.

Very well, how about that one?

Even though it's not a precious knife,

but it's very sharp, made of steel.

Try it.

Do you have anything better?

Sorry, not here.

If you want something outstanding.

Look for He Dayuan on Songtao Hill.

Old man.

Who are you?

I'm Luo Han, here to enquire about the precious knife.

News about precious knife?

Do you know how to use one?

A little.

I haven't made any for a while,

but I have one at home.

Show me your skills.

If you can manage, I'll give it to you.

Thanks. Please show me.

Try it.

That's all?

I'm old and can't see clearly. You're very able.

What do you think of this?

Sorry, it's not what I want.

I'm looking for Hulong Knife,

the one from the palace.

Hulong Knife? I haven't seen it.

I've only heard about it.

A lot of people have come and asked me.

The capital is big,

you can look around.

The first place he visited

in the capital was a knives shop.

I heard he's looking for a precious knife.

I wonder what it is about.

No matter what.

Since he ruined our business,

and has killed my men.

I must take care of him.

''Restaurant''

Sorry...we're full here.

Please go to the other side.

Bring me a pot of tea.

Beat it!

First come, first served.

I'm paying for this.

I've booked this table already.

Beat it!

Please stop...

I'm busy, I won't fuss about with you.

You've knocked my things over.

You must pay for the damages.

Stop hitting me!

Aunt Fu...help her inside.

Help her inside.

Hurry...

Sure.

Slowly...careful.

Her daughter has gone out

What should we do?

Don't worry, I'll find a doctor.

It's his fault.

How could you be so rash?

Go in and check on your mother.

Mother.

You're back.

You're home.

What happened, mom?

Someone at the Escort did it.

Someone at the Escort?

Sorry, I blamed you wrongly.

Don't worry.

The money...

I...

For your mom's medical expenses.

Come out, kid.

Don't, they're here.

Don't worry.

So you are Fei Bing

I was looking for you.

I'll show you how powerful we are.

Kill him.

Yes.

This isn't the place for a fight.

Tell him to go back to their base.

Follow me if you have guts!

Let's go.

Okay.

''Ju Ying Security Bureau''

Go inside, kid.

Damn! I'll kill you right here.

Wait.

I'm Bao Yilong.

Also known as Iron Arm.

Our escort service has been around for decades.

With our reputation,

our business has reached thirteen provinces.

No one would look down upon us.

You beat up my staff.

He's one of us.

It's just like beating me up.

So he works for you.

He has nothing better to do all day.

He's no different than a local bully.

He's done every bad thing you could imagine,

he throws his weight about.

Bullshit.

You want to get yourself killed?

Wait.

Friend, what's your background?

Who's your master?

We could be friends here.

Don't worry, we aren't.

Do you want to borrow some travelling expenses?

I am looking for a bandit here,

not money.

In that case you take us for bandits.

What proof do you have?

I saw him walking in here.

What do you have to say?

Bullshit.

You think you have superhuman powers?

Alright.

Very well, you asked for this.

Pick any weapon you want.

No matter what it takes,

I'm going to have a fight with you today.

I want to fight with the one who's uses knife.

Great.

Come on.

Chief, let Master Geng take care of him.

Your pack.

How's your mother?

I'm about to get a doctor.

Peony, you...

Let's go.

Do you think you can roam around in the capital?

I'll teach you a lesson with the double looped knife.

Let's go.

Follow!

Don't bother.

Master Geng has it planned out.

You don't need to see me off, just go.

The money...

I don't want it

That's the bully.

He's the one who's bothering us.

Where are you from?

None of your business.

Why are you in the capital?

None of your business.

I'll show you how it's my business.

Hurry, go.

You are hiding.

You still want to mind my business?

Yes.

Not today.

Are you alright?

I'm fine. I'll walk with you.

Wait.

I saw how you handled the knife.

Looks similar to Master Liu Peng's style.

You are...

And you are...

Uncle Chen is my neighbour.

He's very nice to me.

Uncle Chen.

I want to ask you something.

What is it?

How are you related to Master Liu Peng?

He's my master.

To tell you the truth,

I'm here to avenge him.

My master, his family and the whole clan

died under the sword of Xian Tianzun.

The Evil Poisonous Sword.

The precious sword Hulong Knife is unaccounted for.

If only I could locate this knife,

I can get rid of Xiao Tianzun.

You're here to look for the precious knife?

That's right.

Didn't you tell many stories

of precious knives?

Do you know about this one?

Please tell me.

Come on in.

This is a picture of it,

regarding its history.

I've heard a little about it.

Most precious knives are kept in the palace.

One night, the late emperor...

I'm not sure which of the concubines offended him.

Wang Qi...

Your Majesty.

Kill the Empress.

Wang Qi killed the Empress?

Well, you must follow the emperor's order.

After a while,

the emperor couldn't stand it anymore.

He gave the precious knife

to Imperial Guard Wang Qi.

Wang Qi has the knife?

That's right.

Uncle Chen.

Do you know where he is now?

After the death of the late emperor,

Wang Qi retired and there's no sight of him.

About three years ago,

someone spotted him in the capital.

Maybe someone in the palace knows his whereabouts.

Where can we find him?

Right.

The owner of the Ten Mile Inn told me once,

my master was a friend of Wang Qi's.

If he knows that I'm here,

he should hand me the precious knife.

Maybe he worries that you're too rash.

He wouldn't hand you the knife until you're ready.

Go and take care of your mother.

I'll go look for Wang Qi.

Be careful.

What are you doing here?

I'm here to take care of my uncle's funeral.

Have you found the knife?

Not yet.

I only heard that the Imperial guard Wang Qi has it.

But I don't know where he is.

Why don't you ask around at the Kang Residence?

Kang Residence?

Mr. Kang works in the palace,

I heard that you saved his sisters at Swallow Valley.

I'm sure he'll help you if you talk to him.

''Kang Residence''

Please have a seat. It's a small place.

You're traveling fast, you've arrived sooner than us.

I just got here.

So you stay here for a few days

I can take you around.

Do you have any relatives here?

No, I'd need your help.

No problem.

You look anxious

Are you investigating something?

Nothing.

I've been living here for decades.

If you tell me, maybe I could help.

Also...

Wang Wu...

The young Miss Kang is calling me.

Miss Kang.

My brother isn't back yet,

but I know he will be glad to recommend

Luo Han as an Imperial Guard.

Great.

Wang Wu, you must take care of him.

Keep him here

Until my brother comes back and thanks him personally.

Yes.

Remember.

It's good news.

Miss Kang insisted

you should stay.

The master will recommend you to be an Imperial Guard.

Mister.

I appreciate what Miss Kang is trying to do.

But I've got some things to take care of,

I can't just forget it.

Our master is a senior Imperial Guard.

After he's recommended you for a job in the palace,

it's going to be easy for your investigation.

l guess it's about revenge,

and then you can't get it done in a day or two.

Very well.

Go and continue your investigation.

Think it over.

I would do my best to talk to my master,

if there's anything he could help.

Staying here is

better than staying at some inn.

It's really something

that Miss Kang thought of it.

I know.

Is your mom getting better?

The doctor said she's fine.

How did you get in?

I jumped over the wall.

You did?

Aunty, you're sick because of me,

I'll feel bad

if you don't keep the money.

Peony, since he's so sincere,

keep the money.

Then...

Aunty, please rest.

I'm off.

Don't just stand here,

go and ask him his name.

My mom would like to know your name.

I'm Luo Han.

The men of the escort are a bunch of bullies,

you should stay away from them.

I'm here to look for a person.

I heard he's connected to the escort company.

I must go find out, I'm off.

You...

I should walk out from here.

Geng Xian, you're here finally.

Sorry, I'm late.

I had kept you waiting.

Not at all.

We're all friends here.

Come in, sit down and have a chat.

Please.

Please take a seat.

Please.

Brother Geng, you're known as Drunken Lion,

we must have a few drinks tonight.

Certainly.

Please...

There's someone named Luo Han

who's been causing me trouble.

Do you know his background?

I've been paying attention to him.

The reason he is in town,

is to look for a precious knife.

A precious knife?

Have you heard of Xiao Tianzun

and his Evil Poisonous Sword?

Luo Han's master Liu Peng

was killed by him.

Whoever got wounded by the poisonous sword

will die within two hours.

Rumour has it that only the Hulong Precious Knife

from the palace could resist it.

Get rid of him first.

Agreed.

I don't think it's time.

Guess it's not too late

to wait until he's got the knife.

Go!

Wait, don't bother.

Xiao Tianzun has set a trap.

He can't run.

You're up.

Morning.

You returned late last night.

I had something to do.

The master wants me to tell you

about Wang Qi.

What have you heard?

After the late emperor's death,

Wang Qi has left the palace.

No one knows where he is.

Where are you going?

Uncle.

You know that I'm here to look for the knife,

in order to take revenge for my master.

But I can't locate Wang Qi;

Those at the escort are after Peony.

I can't let Peony get involved.

I've to go and inform her.

Hello.

Aren't you Luo Han?

I need to talk to Peony urgently.

Peony?

She's gone to work at Official Peng's residence.

Official Peng's residence?

''Peng''

Peony has just started working today.

Hold on, I'll look for her.

Thanks.

Qiuxiang, go get Peony.

Yes, Chief.

I'm glad you are here.

Our master remembers what you did,

but we could never find you.

We'd like to...

Don't worry about it.

There's no need to repay me.

How could that be?

Chief, Peony is here.

Peony, someone's looking for you.

What are you doing here?

You're excused.

Yes.

You can chat now.

I've got you into trouble.

Got me in trouble?

How?

They're after me, and it concerns you too.

That's why I'm here to warn you.

Don't worry about me.

Just do whatever you need to do.

I've made up my mind.

Although I can't find the knife,

but I'll put up a good fight with Xiao Tianzun anyway.

Do you know where he is?

He has connections with the escort company.

If I can find Geng Xian, I can find him.

He fell for my trap.

He'll try to track you in order to find me.

We must go according to the plan,

for him to walk into the trap.

I'll try to lure him to Yuebin restaurant tonight.

''Yuebin restaurant''

Come...drink.

''Upstairs is booked''

Excuse me, who are you looking for?

I'm going upstairs to have a drink.

Have you read the sign?

Upstairs is booked tonight,

Master Geng has booked the whole floor,

it's not open to other guests.

No.

I said yesterday that I must drink upstairs.

You must be joking.

Do you know who Master Geng is?

He's known as Drunken Lion.

If you insist,

I'm afraid you'll roll downstairs.

Not scared. How dare you try to intimidate me?

Stop hitting me.

Don't be mad...

he doesn't know.

The whole floor is booked upstairs.

I don't care who booked it.

I will go upstairs to drink.

If you insist,

I'll do my best

to find you a table upstairs.

Please follow me...

Don't forget.

Be careful when you're upstairs.

Sir, please

Please sit over there.

Have a seat

After they've left,

you can move inside.

That's fine.

Just bring me some wine.

I'll order some dishes for you.

Very well.

Waiter.

Here.

A pot of wine.

Right away.

Just a second.

A pot of wine.

Bravo...

Leave...

Tips for all.

Drink up, master Zhang.

Come on...cheers.

Who's the man who fought with Master Fei earlier?

What's his name? Luo Han (Buddha)?

Why haven't I heard of him lately?

Iron Buddha? Copper Buddha? He is not.

Even his master Liu Peng

was killed by Xiao Tianzun.

What do you expect from the student?

Not only that his master died,

the whole clan and family were dead.

If he's that good,

do you think Xiao Tianzun could still be alive?

Useless!

Then why is he here in the capital?

What's his plan? What could he do?

Someone saw him around

Peony's home.

I think he's interested in her.

No wonder there's no sign of Peony lately.

They must have hooked up.

Don't think that

Peony can hide.

She can't hide.

I've got her already.

What? You have?

I did it for Xiao Tianzun,

don't think that I'm without a sense of honour.

How did you do it?

Of course I have my way.

I want her to be willing.

In that case you are the backup groom.

Getting married is a good thing.

You should invite us to the wedding banquet.

What do you think this is?

So it's settled?

Do I ever lie?

It's embarrassing if it won't happen.

Has her mother given permission?

Who doesn't want money? l've plenty.

Money can do anything.

Come on, let's drink to

the groom to-be.

Yes.

Cheers.

Thank you.

Good things come in pairs, again.

Cheers.

Wait.

I thought they turned down your

gifts a few days ago.

That's her strategy.

It will be different when she has the money.

I still don't believe it.

I'll only believe

if you bring Peony here.

Right...

Fine.

What if I send her here?

I'll give you one hundred taels.

Deal.

I'll give you a thousand if I can't send her here.

Who would do the honour?

I'll go...

Open up...

Who is it?

Why are you here again?

Excuse me, is Peony home?

Peony?

Didn't you send someone to pick her up?

Pick her up?

If he didn't tell us that you're really sick

We wouldn't let her

to leave in the middle of the night.

Oh no!

What are you doing?

Who?

Silly boy, you've been tricked.

How?

It's a diversion.

Uncle Chen,

you must know what's going on.

Please tell me.

They've kidnapped Peony,

they've left town.

Left town?

Wait.

Where are you going?

Going after them.

Do you know your way around?

Let me show you.

Sure.

Oh no! The gate is locked.

Uncle Chen.

Thank you for telling me their whereabouts,

I'll go on my own.

The gate is locked.

Can't you jump up?

I can, but what about you?

Me?

Silly boy, you think I'm a useless old man?

Look who's coming?

What are you waiting for? Come up.

Follow me.

This is the place.

Go in, I'll wait for you outside.

He's here.

Good timing.

Take some men and catch him.

Peony.

You brought this

upon yourself.

Let's go!

Do you think you can leave today?

Luo Han, you walked into our trap.

You'll die without a burial.

Gone?

Go after him.

Luo Han is here!

Hide!

If you see someone giving him the precious knife,

let me know.

Try with this.

Luo Han has got the knife!

Hurry! Take the girl and wait for me at the Ten Mile Inn.

Yes.

Peony.

They've kidnapped her and gone to the Ten Mile Inn.

He's back.

Is he here?

No.

Xian Tianzun has lots of tricks,

you must be careful.

I know.

Wait.

I'm sure he's got lots of traps set up.

If he has access to this knife,

you can never revenge for your master.

And he will harm others with it.

Don't worry. Wait here for me.

I'll deal with him on my own.

You go first.

Don't be afraid, I'm here to save you.

Hide! Quick.

How dare you carry on misdeeds?

What are you doing?

Luo Han.

Are you alright, Peony?

I'm fine, he saved me.

You've helped me again.

Don't mention it! Your revenge is more important.

Xian Tianzun is up ahead, I'll lead you.

I've got the precious knife,

He can't make away.

Is this the real one?

What's fake and what's real, can you tell?

Yes I can, let me have a look.

You...

Xiao Tianzun.

You've killed my master and the whole clan.

And now you want to take the knife by deceit!

Luckily I recognise the colour of blood

for anyone struck by the Evil Poisonous Sword.

Too bad you have no idea how powerful my sword is.

Drop your knife if you want her to live.

Don't listen to him. He wouldn't let us live

even if you drop your knife.

Luo Han.

Master, I tried my best.
