(dramatic music)

ATIM: The coronation procession
is so long,

it takes five hours
to travel across London.

There's so much gold on display,
it hurts to look at it.

(cheering)

- The people adore Charles,
and he is loving every second.

- What an utter farce.

This charlatan's bankrupting
the country

and rubbing everyone's faces in it.

- The republicans claim
to love the people.

To make matters worse, news

has spurred more republicans
to rally to Ludlow's cause.

suggesting a meeting in Delft.

Three of the regicides respond.

Okey, Barkstead, and Corbet.

Downing only has one shot.

Once he strikes, the regicides
will know that their network has

been blown, and that Downing
can't be trusted.

But before he can spring his trap,
Downing needs assurances

that the Dutch authorities
won't stand in his way.

- (Downing sighs)

- You have come to the head
of Holland for an export permit.

Well, for these kind of black market
goods, you do not require a permit.

An assurance then will suffice
that you won't intervene.

A trade deal so attractive you'll
