All language subtitles for 121 Explode

This is tutorial number 121 and it covers how to use the explode feature with

Inkitia V5. To start off, open up the guitar product which is included on the DVD.

Now what we're going to do is we're going to create an exploded state of this guitar.

Now with Katia it's really easy, it's just a one step procedure. All you have to do is click

Explode, click Apply and it gives you an exploded view of your assembly. Click OK and now you

have an exploded view of your assembly. So this is a great way. When you need an exploded

view, it allows you to create this exploded view and it allows you to convey and show

people your parts, your process and what's going on really quickly and easily. Now if we

go back and press Ctrl Z, just go back to the original state. The only real options we

have is you're able to choose an assembly. So right now there's only one assembly in this

entire thing. So you can explode subassemblies but we only have one. Now if we click Explode,

we're also able to fix a product. So if we want to just fix the base, so like this, make

this the center, click Apply. Now that doesn't move but everything else does. Click OK and

now we have this as our exploded view. If we change the fixed product to be the plate,

we click Apply. Everything else gets exploded out from the plate there. So you're able

to choose the centering position or the centering component where everything else is going

to be exploded from. This is just going to change the position and the orientation in

your product space where it's going to be exploded into. And then you're able to play with

the scroll. And as you take it down, the explode is going to get tighter and tighter. So if

you put it down here, you get a really tight explode. So you're able to really use this

scale to explode it to the effect that you want. So if you just want a little explode like

that, that's all you need. That's what you want. Set it to that and you're good. Click OK

and you're done. So with the explode, it's a really, really easy in KT-AV5. Other CAD

packages usually you have to create a position for each individual part to be exploded into.

And it's very time consuming. So with KT-A, it has a one step explode feature. So it allows

you to create exploded views quickly and easily. And that concludes our tutorial on the
