I understand's real good.

- This may come as
quite a surprise,

but I think I'll stay
home tonight and study.

I have to give this

dance over there.

- A dance sounds

Bruce's girl's sister.

this isn't Daddy-O.

- Who is it, Pop?

- Oh, it's for you, Daddy-O.
Some guy named Pops.

What's on the fire?

- Where's Mommy-O?

- She's out in the kitchen.

- Well, how are we
going to work that out?

- What have you got there?

- Oh, just a few things.

Cold cuts, pickles, ice
cream, milk, French bread,

a couple of cans of peanuts.

- I don't see the Cokes
or the potato chips.

- Oh, uh, I didn't get those.

- Well, uh, for three
very good reasons.

how those kids are.

Ricky's a good organizer.

- Yeah, it was a kid

but it sounded like
the little Darby boy.

Oh, by the way, I saw Herb
Darby down at the market.

- Oh, good.

- Oh, fine.

I didn't get a chance
to talk to him.

He just waved.

He was buying a lot of stuff.

- Holy smokes, did you
buy all this stuff, Pop?

- Yeah, just now.

- Gee, you think
they'd take it back?

- Oh, are you kidding?

We don't have too much here.

I've seen that gang
of yours eat before.

- The only thing, though, that
was Harry Darby on the phone.

They're not coming over tonight.

- I thought it was agreed the
party was going to be here.

- I thought it was too,
but there was some mix up

in cars or something.

Anyway, now the party is going
to be over at Harry's house.

- Well, don't worry
about it, dear.

We understand those things.

- Well, I'd better get dressed.

- Gee, I'm awful sorry.

Boy, what are we going

to go out with Catherine.

I wanted to invite you
over to our house tonight.

We've got a lot of good
food and everything.

- Gee, Oz, I'm sorry, but
we've been invited over

to the Darby's for dinner.

There's a kid's party
going on over there.

Rick's invited there.

- Well, that's funny.

I just spoke with
him on the phone.

He said the four of us are going
to have a nice, quiet dinner

together and maybe play
some cards or something.

invited the Thornberrys
over for dinner.

are coming over here?

- Well, I imagine so.

That was what they were going to
do before this Darby thing came

up.

It's one of David's old ones.

I heard the party

was off at the
Darby's, I just assumed

they were coming over here.

- We changed the
plans back again.

We're going dancing after all.

and Jackie wants to go dancing.

- That's Bill Murphy's
cousin's girl.

- Gee, your poor mother's got
all this food prepared here.

pick up Sally over at her house,

and said he had a little
trouble with this car.

- The transmission fell out.

- Well, I guess there's been
a little misunderstanding

all around.

over at the ice palace.

We're going to go ice skating.

- We found out the dance
isn't till next week.

difference of opinion over

and decided to go dancing.

Well, last I heard,
they were over ice

skating at the ice palace.

- I almost forgot, the
Murphys are out in the car.

- Oh, well, have them come in.

watering it down or something
and he's really soaked.

They got him wrapped up
in a blanket out there.

- Oh, poor Tubby.

Well, I have an old pair of
work pants out in the garage.

He can try those on.

- Yeah, about 10 of them.

Looks like we're stuck
with the whole gang.
