we've seen so far

suggests not only
police corruption

but judicial malfeasance.

The conviction rates
in their jurisdiction

are 44% higher per capita
than the rest of New York.

And their sentencing
22% more severe.

We analyzed their closed cases
and the likelihood

of convictions
without a confession.

All the data shows that
many, if not most of them,

would not have held out.
