But I thought Zoe said

for what happened was her seeing
Jackie and Andy in bed together.

leaving the house.

The only thing we know
for certain

is that Jackie drove
past the police

who were called to the house,
six miles away, at 1.20.

She killed Andy,

but she also shot the horse

and seriously wounded Mel.

Who had climbed out of her window
and made it across the paddock.

Zoe then made her way
back through the house.

She heard Gabrielle, the au pair,
coming up the stairs

to see what had happened.

She told her to take a car
and leave the house.

It's at this point she saw
