EPISODE 14

Do we have to go this far?

That can't be him.

Please erase from your heart

the one you must not have in there.

Only look to Officer Shin.

And follow him,

and be his shadow.

Do you understand?

In the end, the Way of Three Obediences teaches that

a woman is merely her man's shadow.

What... is affection?

That which makes us unhesitatingly

grant life and death to each other,

That is what

affection is.

Agasshi, please come out now.

Whatever you do, you cannot avoid this wedding.

Agasshi!

What is the matter?

If she won't come out, you should have dragged her out. What are you doing?

Come out this minute!

Who are you?

What is this over your shoulder?

Maybe she left on her own two feet?

Are those Se Ryung's shoes?

Yes, they are Agasshi's shoes.

Where on earth is this girl...?

My Lady!

Some guy was leaving with a sack over his shoulder

and when caught, did this to him.

How big was the sack?

More than enough to put a person in it.

By any chance, Se Ryung was in there...?

This is an abduction.

Abduction?

What do you mean abduction?

Who has... Noonim?

Mother! My Lady!

Who dared...

who dared to touch a daughter of this Sooyang?

Someone kidnapped Agasshi!

What?!

Since he took her in a sack, he must have borne her away on horseback or in a carriage.

They couldn't have gone far yet. Hurry!

Yes!

What's going on?

Why all this delay?

Now even the bridegroom is missing...

Something must be amiss.

You leave this place now and go into hiding.

What do you mean we missed the chance?

What on earth is going on?

The wedding won't go forward.

What do you mean...?

The bride has disappeared.

All three have vanished into thin air.

I got it.

You can go.

Grand Prince Sooyang is coming.

A father's heart that doesn't want to let go

of a cherished daughter must have worked.

To keep her by her father's side even for a few days more,

my daughter all of a sudden got a violent stomach flu.

I think I hated my son-in-law-to-be for no reason.

Why my daughter contracted the flu...

must be looked into all in good time.

Honored guests

have wasted their trips here.

We sincerely apologize.

When we invite you again later, don't refuse

but please come again and

for today, why don't you have the prepared food before you leave?

Please take your seats.

Haven't you

seen a horse or a litter?

My Lord!

He has seen a horse

with a big sack over it going toward Mapo Pier.

Let's go.

So Eng!

Moo Young!

Aish, that wom..., no, that guy!

Hyungnim and Noonim.

How come you're coming down together?

From the strange vibe...

maybe last night you two, you know...!

If you're going to talk nonsense, don't waste my rice!

I'm not eating!

So Eng, So Eng, come sit here.

I've wiped it clean for you.

Where did he go?

He's not upstairs.

Where did you go since morning?

Do you have the writing paraphernalia?

Writing...

Para... phernalia?

Big Bro, you're more ignorant than I thought.

Paper, writing brush... umm?

That's what you mean, right, Small Hyung?

Oppa, you even know how to write?

If I dig around, we must have them somewhere.

Sooyang.

Grand Prince!

What's happened?

I don't have the face to look you in the eye, in-law.

Since Myun has gone to find her,

we'll soon get some news.

What in the world?

What kind of person did this?

Maybe Grand Prince Keum Seong has done this?

Keum Seong...

Don't you think Grand Prince Keum Seong intentionally leaked wrong informationand then stabbed us in the back?

What do you mean wrong information?

Lest you might worry, I have not told you, in-law.

Keum Seong plotted to harm me on the wedding day.

You must've had a very good reason not to tell me.

But, you are saying all this is.

Grand Prince Keum Seong's doing?

It probably wasn't Grand Prince Keum Seong.

He has nothing whatsoever to gain by kidnapping.

Se Ryung Agasshi at the cost of divulging his own schemes.

It must be someone else's doing.

What do you mean, someone else?

Are you saying besides Keum Seong, there is

some other power that opposes the Grand Prince?

An enemy unknown to us...

How come there is still no news?

No matter what, he will return safely.

Please, Your Highness, calm your heart.

Se Ryung was kidnapped?

Someone kidnapped Miss Se Ryung.

Who can that be?

Because the bride disappeared all of a sudden, the wedding was postponed

and we could not proceed with the "big event."

Who on earth has done it?

There are others putting up fights

against Uncle Sooyang besides us?

No.

That can't be.

What are you talking about?

At Grand Prince Sooyang's place,

I saw someone who looked like Seung Yoo there.

How can that be?

Maybe because you were nervous, you must have seen wrong.

H H How troubling this is!

Since Hansung Bureau is after him,

we've no other way than to wait...

We don't have time to wait!

This way...

it's like letting Keum Seong slip through our fingers when we even know about his schemes!

Even though this time, we were lucky enough to catch Grand Prince Keum Seong's schemes beforehand,

what plot he will come up with the next time around to harm the Grand Prince...

We have no way of knowing.

No matter who has kidnapped Se Ryung Agasshi,

the mastermind behind this must be Grand Prince Keum Seong.

That's how we should frame him.

Surely, that is

how it should be, but...

You must be worried about Se Ryung, but how about focusing on taking care of Keum Seong first?

Order Hansung Bureau to arrest Keum Seong.

What's going on?

There was an order to arrest Grand Prince Keum Seong.

What are you saying?

Who on earth said this?

It's Grand Prince Sooyang's order.

Let go! Won't you let go of me!

Give us your reasons, you scoundrels!

We are simply following the order.

Take him away.

Yes.

What do you mean Uncle Keum Seong has been imprisoned?

What was their reason this time

for imprisoning Uncle Keum Seong?

We heard that Grand Prince Sooyang ordered Hansung Bureau to do so.

Now, without even consulting me,

he's going to do whatever he wants?

Your Majesty, please calm down.

This time, I am not going to sit still.

This time, Uncle Sooyang is going to try to frame

innocent Uncle Keum Seong again.

Your Majesty,

the truth is... Grand Prince Keum Seong

was planning to do something.

What do you mean?

Availing himself of today's wedding

he tried to eliminate Grand Prince Sooyang.

However, because the wedding was pushed off all of a sudden,

he could not accomplish his goal.

Then, Uncle Keum Seong's plan was

discovered by Uncle Sooyang, is that what you're saying?

It seems that way.

Why didn't you tell me before?

I am sorry.

First, order them to transfer Uncle Keum Seong

to Royal Investigation Bureau.

Yes, Your Majesty.

If he stays in Hansung Bureau

god knows what harm will come to him.

I cannot afford to lose Uncle Keum Seong as well.

No matter what I have to do, I will protect Uncle.

Subtitles brought to you by The Princess'Man Team at viki.com.

I wished to become his shadow

and that he would become my shadow in return.

Throw these away.

Me?

Then,

A weak woman like me has to do it?

What do you mean weak?

When it comes to having been born with something hanging in between our legs, you and I are the same.

If you give free rein to your mouth,

you'll be castrated.

I got it.

Where should I discard them?

Behind the building is an unused shed. Put them there.

Big Bro.

Thanks.

What's up with him? He is such an icy man that won't melteven if branded with fire...

How...

Is that really you, Teacher?

Were you alive?

I thought you passed away because of the shipwreck!

How come you didn't let me know?

That you were alive...!

The Kim Seung Yoo that you know

doesn't exist in this world.

The marriage of the daughter of the enemy who's killed my father

and a friend who has betrayed me...

What a perfect couple you make.

Didn't you beg me to survive

and come back to kill you?

Teacher.

That you would wait for the day

you can die by my hands?

Were you just paying lip service?

It's simply the day that you've been so eagerly waiting for.

Just wait

I'll kill you soon enough.

Teacher!

Shout more,

if you want to die at this moment.

The Kim Seung Yoo that you know

doesn't exist in this world.

We are looking for a suspicious looking guy.

Oppa, this is a place where sleazy, not suspicious, guys frequent.

Oppas, why don't you also try Bing Ock Kwan alcohol before you leave?

Search inside!

Yes!

Nobody move!

What's going on?

If you're here to drink, be seated.

If you're here to see our girls, please wait for a moment.

We are looking for a suspicious looking man.

There is no such person here.

Thoroughly search inside and out!

Yes.

Who on earth are they looking for?

Would Grand Prince Sooyang's daughter come to a place like this?

Who knows? Maybe she was dragged here.

What ruffian are you? Catch him!

That girl.

Is she Grand Prince Sooyang's daughter?

Answer me!

That's right.

You are really thoughtless, aren't you?!

What do you propose to do?

Your method of taking revenge, after all, was this low!

Using a weak, innocent girl

as your bait,

you will take your dirty vengeance?!

Aren't you ashamed to your father

whose name you've called out so desperately?

Don't say whatever that comes to your mind!

I thought you were different.

Go.

Don't make my family here suffer as well and get lost now!

Hyung nim.

Hyung, I thought I was going to get caught by the soldiers and die!

Why did you make me do something so dangerous?

What's wrong with that hyung nim?

Did you two fight?

Change.

If you don't want to die then change!

Those are the tokens from my beloved.

They are dearer to me than my life.

Please return them to me.

Why are you picking up that broken thing?

Just hurry and change!

Let go of me!

Even if it's broken,

to me it's a whole heart that I received from a certain person.

Were you at Seung Beop Temple yesterday?

All the while...

Were you following me?

The whole day, I was thinking about you.

And you were following me, Teacher.

Thank you so very much.

For being alive...

Thank you so very much.

Listen to what I say.

Nothing inside.

Leave no place unturned out here.

Yes!

Let's go! Yes!

Where are we going?

I am asking you where we are going.

Subtitles brought to you by The Princess' Man team @ viki.com.

It doesn't hurt, so you don't have to look at me like that.

You're mistaken as ever.

When do you plan to kill me?

I was used

as a bait in my father's murder.

You, too, shall be

a bait to kill your father.

Why?

Even though your father is so horrible,

you hate to see him die?

I am asking you whether you like so much

your father that's dripping with others' blood?!

Don't look at me like that.

As if you're innocent, as if you hurt, as if you know it all!

I said not to look at me like that!

Do I have to carve out your eyes to get it through to you?!

What on earth... what do I have to do

to get this through to you?!

You and your father are the same.

I am going to drive my sword through your father's heart.

And after I cut off your family's heads,

I will kill you...

kill you too mercilessly!

Do you understand?!

Subtitles brought to you by The Princess' Man Team at viki.com.

How...

how hard has it been?

How did you bear the unimaginable pain?

If you can take my life

and erase that pain,

I will gladly die a thousand, ten thousand deaths.

Are you erasing the memories?

Are you washing them all away with tears?

This love of mine that is lodged in my heart.

After telling me to be happy.

If I were to tell you that she put her life on the line to save you...

Would you believe that?

Are you saying we are still in the dark?

I'm sorry.

However, I will find her no matter what.

I wonder

why they targeted a bride before her wedding, of all people.

This is aimed at me.

I am going to catch them no matter what

and make them thoroughly pay the price for underestimating me.

What happened?

They haven't found her yet.

Mother!

I'm okay.

She is a tough girl, after all.

She won't let bad things happen to her that easily.

How come these things always happen to Unnie?

Over there!

After him!

Catch him!

Sooyang, I have your daughter.

Tomorrow between 11 a. M. and 1 p. M. , come alone to the Hat Boulder at Inwang Gorge.

If you come with soldiers or do something foolish,

Your daughter will die at the site.

You must not go.

No mistake about it, they'll target you.

Agasshi's life depends on it.

Don't we have to rescue her even if you have to risk your life?

Myun!

How about secretly sending soldiers there?

Mobilizing the military when we do not even know how big of a force we're facing...

can worsen the situation.

But we can't let the Grand Prince go all by himself to such a perilous place!

Of course not.

Their intent to take the Grand Prince's life

is as clear as a burning beacon.

Then, are you saying let her die like that?!

Officer Shin!

Restrain yourselves!

I have already

made up my mind.

Revenge.

Please just end it with me.

Please take my life

and leave this nightmare behind you.

Don't try anything funny.

Your father must pay for his sins.

Even though my father cannot be forgiven the atrocities he committed,

the one who prevented your execution was also him.

Prevented my execution?!

Then,

who was it that deep-sixed the ship

with so many lives on it in the middle of the ocean?

What are you talking about?

My father said he at least spared your life.

That you were sent to Kanghwa Island as a slave...

I guess you stilll do not know

the true face of your father.

Disguising it as an exile,

he killed all his enemies including myself

in one shot.

Father

I'll go too.

It's fraught with danger. You stay here.

It's about Noonim

I can't just stay still

I praise your brotherly love.

But when your father is not here,

you are the head of this family.

You must

return safely with my older sister.

Don't worry.

You must not attack him first.

Not only do we have to save Se Ryung's life, but also we must catch him alive to reveal who are behind him.

But Agasshi might be endangered!

Until I give you my order, do not take away his life.

Yes.

I guess you stilll do not know the true face of your father.

Disguising it as an exile,

he killed all his enemies including myself

in one shot.

Where is it?

It's that boulder over there.

If you sense even the smallest danger, you must shoot him right away.

Sir...

Grand Prince Sooyang has ordered us to capture him alive.

Your superior is me.

Just follow my orders.

I am sorry.

Wouldn't this be dangerous?

He must have positioned the soldiers already.

I don't care.

As long as I can kill your father.

Why don't you try to stay alive?

If only I can kill all of you

and avenge my family's deaths,

my life...

is not important.

Some of your family is alive.

How dare you utter with your mouth...!

Your niece and your sister-in-law are waiting for you.

They are hiding and safe, why don't you go see them?

What kind of lies are you telling now?

I will not be tricked by you any longer.

It's true. It is true.

Run straight to them and leave for a faraway place with your sister-in-law and Ah Kang.

That is the only way, the best way for you, Teacher.

Seriously, you...

Here they come.

The lady will be in danger.

If your father does not come,

you are dead.

Let my innocent daughter go!

A coward who hides behind a mask dares to pick a fight with me?!

The price for releasing your daughter is your life!

As I expected.

Hurry and release her.

And take my life instead.

Isn't that arrow meant for me?

Why are you hesitating?

Shoot me now.

Why don't you shoot?
