Father!

Father!

Father-in-law!

Brother-in-law!

Father!

Father!

Father.

Father.

Father!

It's me, your son Seung Yoo.

Is your consiousness coming back?

Grandfather!

Father, you have to move to a safer place first!

Why don't we take him to my family's house?

Get a carriage ready, quick!

What?

Is that old man still alive?

Kill them all!

Seung Yoo,

What happened to your brother?

They will be back.

You have to hurry and get out of here.

I will escort you.

No.

Run to the Princess's house this minute

and let them know that I am alive.

Since this Kim Jong Seo is not dead,

His Majesty must not succumb to Sooyang, but hold out strong.

You must give this message to His Majesty.

Do you understand?

I cannot leave by your side

just Sister-in-law and Ah Kang.

Brother-in-law!

We will escort father.

I do not want your brother's death

to go to waste.

It is better for you to quickly leave.

This is a task you have to accomplish with your life.

Alive... let's meet alive later.

Sister-in-law, I will leave father in your care.

Dae Ho (Kim Jong Seo's nickname)...

has fallen.

Let's go.

Pshaw,

why are Hansungbu people coming in here?

Your Majesty,

Princess Kyung Hye...

Your Majesty!

Noonim.

I heard a scream.

The Inner Palace Guards and Hansungbu are safeguarding this place.

It cannot be anything too serious.

Do not worry, Your Majesty.

Yes.

Thank God!

I was so scared not to see you in your room.

Do not stir, but stay here with Your Majesty.

I will go outside and take a look.

Brother-in-law.

Please be careful.

Officer Myun,

what outrage is this?

Don't you know this is where His Majesty is?

Dispatch them!

Myun!

Myun!

How can you...

How... you...?

Take the Royal Son-in-law inside!

Yes!

Myun!

Myun!

Make a way!

Grand Prince Sooyang is coming!

Were you close with the royal son-in-law?

Officer Shin, you've taken great pains.

You tidied up this place really nice.

You should go see His Majesty.

Brother-in-law, are you all right?

What happened?

What's happened to you outside?

Summon the Inner Palace Guard Commander!

The Commander...

is dead.

Who killed him?

Your Majesty!

Grand Prince Sooyang is asking to see you.

At this late hour, without any prior notice, how discourteous this is!

Ask him to come back tomorrow.

When the day dawns,

please come back.

Ask him again!

Haven't you heard Her Highness's order?

It is such an urgent business,

Excuse my discourtesy.

You let people armed with swords in His Majesty's presence.

Are you in your right mind?

This Uncle

just had to execute traitor Kim Jong Seo.

So I couldn't avoid coming here with armed forces.

Traitor... Kim Jong Seo?

What do you mean execution?

Are you saying you killed the Second State Councilor?

It's only right to scourge the head of a traitorous band.

Calling Kim Jong Seo a traitor,

are you asking me to believe that?

These are the rest of the traitorous bunch.

Please give me the myongpaes* to summon them.

[Myongpae - wooden token Joseon kings used to call officials with ranks higher than the 3rd level]

Everyone who is against your will...

Are you proposing to kill them all?

If you side with those who participated in the treason,

even the nation's princess won't be able to get off scot free.

Why?

Will you strike my head with that sword?

If you oppose my will,

no one will be able to survive!

Grand Prince!

Take the princess and royal son-in-law to their room!

Yes.

What?

Noonim!

We can't allow you to do that!

We will stay by His Majesty's side.

Unhand me!

How dare you...

Won't you let go of me!

Noonim!

They will not be able to do anything to you, Your Majesty!

Stay strong and firm!

Brother-in-law!

Seung Yoo... you haven't killed him, though, right?

Really...

did you kill even Seung Yoo?!

Give me the myongpaes.

Subtitles brought to you by the Princess' Man Team@viki.com.

Where on earth is Noonim?

Why did you come back only now?

What became of him?

Did he escape?

I relayed the message.

But I don't know beyond that.

Yeo Ri.

I have to get out of here.

Agasshi, please stop.

I have to make sure that he is safe...

Agasshi!

Agasshi!

Noonim!

Young Master,

what if My Lady finds out...

Who told you to let Se Ryung out!

Soong.

You're here, mother.

Go back to your room.

Confine Se Ryung again!

Mother,

Sister has passed out.

If we slacken our vigiliance,

you never know what she'll do again to save Kim Seung Yoo.

Even if she leaves in that state,

what can she do?

Start.

Show your myongpae.

This is the Minister of Military Affiars, His Excellency Cho Geuk Kwan.

Please go inside.

At this late hour,

why did His Majesty send me the myongpae?

I do not know that far.

The Second State Councilor must be inside?

Yes.

That's impossible! Myun is...?!

The Minister of Military Affairs,

His Excellency Cho Geuk Kwan!

Escort him to the other world!

Who are you?

The Grim Reaper!

The Minister of Military Affairs, Cho Geuk Kwan has been eliminated.

Now, I feel like I can breathe.

The coup has succeeded.

This is not the end yet.

Anyone that has even a smidgen to do with Kim Jong Seo,

we have to eradicate them.

You must dispatch Kim Seung Yoo as well.

That should be done.

Minister of Personnel,

His Excellency Min Shin!

Kill him!

Who are you rascals?

Who are you?

Grand Prince Sooyang...

I must see Grand Prince Sooyang!

Subtitles brought to you by the Princess' Man Team@viki.com.

Seung Yoo... you haven't killed him, though, right?

No matter what, I am going to go to His Majesty.

It's dangerous. Stay here.

I will go.

Do you dare to block the way of the nation's royal son-in-law?

Step aside right now.

Seung Yoo!

Jong!

You were alive!

I thought you were dead.

What on earth is going on? I heard that the Second State Councilor plotted a treason.

It's all Sooyang's doing.

Father is alive.

What?

What?

What did you just say? Kim Jong Seo is alive?!

Tell him quickly!

His son Kim Seung Yoo seemed like he was going to hide the father somewhere!

Kim Seung Yoo...

Find them! One way or another, bring back both of their heads!

Let's go inside.

We have to hurry and let His Majesty and the princess know.

My friend...

has become Sooyang's dog!

I don't regret...

the path I have chosen.

Seung Yoo!

Shin Myun, I am not going to forgive you!

Myun, how can you...

Are you going to kill your friends mercilessly?

Seung Yoo...

Seung Yoo! Let go of me!

Uh huh! What a royal pain in the neck! It's like dropping snot into a pot of almost cooked rice!

That old man is alive even after getting bludgeoned!

If Kim Jong Seo calls in the military from Hamkyung Province...

the tide will turn in a blink of an eye.

I am looking for Kim Jong Seo's whereabouts.

Kim Seung Yoo must have hidden his father somewhere and be looking for a way out.

This is due to my bitter mistake of underestimating Kim Seung Yoo.

This is Officer Shin.

Come in.

What is it?

I have captured Kim Seung Yoo who had sneaked into the house.

Kim Seung Yoo?

Is the Second State Councilor really alive?

Yes, Your Highness.

Where is he?

I don't know... that far.

We have to save Kim Seung Yoo first.

If he can't withstand the torture and tells them where the Second State Councilor is, that will be a disaster!

If we cannot locate Kim Jong Seo tonight, we can't be sure of the coup's success.

You, go back home and make preparations just in case.

Yes.

The end of one who was once your friend...

are you distressed by it?

No.

Mother.

Calm down.

Tonight, your father's life or death will be decided. How can I calm down?

My Lady! Im has arrived!

What? Im has?

Teacher!

His Excellency Kim Jong Seo is alive?

What a fix we are in! What if the coup fails?

Kim Seung Yoo... What happened to Kim Seung Yoo?

He got caught after slipping into the princess's house.

He will be beheaded soon.

We are fine.

You stay by the Grand Prince's side.

He ordered to make preparations just in case.

If something bad happens to My Lord,

everyone of us will be lost.

Hurry back and tell him not to worry about us.

I said go!

Yes, My Lady!

Noonim!

Soong.

Where on earth are you going?

I am going to the princess's house. I will seek out our father there.

That place is dangerous...

surrounded multi-fold by soldiers.

I am not afraid of that. I must go.

Are you going there to see Kim Seung Yoo?

Someone must stand up and stop father.

I have something for you guys to do. Follow me.

Yes!

The end of one who was once your friend...

are you distressed by it?

What do you plan to do to Seung Yoo?

I have already

passed the point of no return.

Are you crazy?

Do you think you can live a sane life after killing your friend?

Myun,

If you still consider me a friend, do me this favor.

Let me see Seung Yoo.

Please do me this favor.

Seung Yoo.

Go away.

We don't have time.

What do you plan to do?

If you stay here like this, you'll end up dying for no good reason.

Myun has agreed to open up a way for you to leave.

Myun has?

Myun doesn't want to see you die, either.

He must have had no choice because of his father.

The priority is to get you out of here. Let's think about the next step after that.

Just around the corner is the stable. Let's head that way. Myun said he would move the soldiers away from there for a while.

What if doing this puts even you in danger?

Even if they are rude, they won't be able to mistreat the royal son-in-law.

Jong...

Your father

is the only remaining hope.

Subtitles brought to you by The Princess' Man team @ viki.com.

How come you are back here?

My Lady ordered me to stay by your side.

Kim Seung Yoo has run away.

Did you let Kim Seung Yoo go?

Yes.

He didn't catch on that you let him go on purpose?

Probably not.

Trusting you that were his friend, he must have run to find his father.

He is a good guide leading us to Kim Jong Seo.

You will have to go.

I'm not relieved leaving the task to those hands alone.

You go and make sure you come back with both Kim Jong Seo's and Kim Seung Yoo's heads.

Who are you?

I am here to see Grand Prince Sooyang.

We can't let you in. Go back please.

Step away!

I must see him, make a way for me.

What is going on?

This place is dangerous. Please leave.

How come you are here?

Are you in this with my father?

When you are his friend...

Please go back.

Escort her home.

Yes.

What about him?

Where's he now?

Is he alive?

Take her to Grand Prince Sooyang.

Yes.

There is no more time to lose. Let's go.

Seung Yoo has escaped okay.

Is that true?

Soon, the Second State Councilor will move the military and

come to protect His Majesty and Your Highness.

Yes, of course, that must come to pass!

Your Highness!

His Majesty must have taken fright.

He's soaked in cold sweat and his hands are ice cold.

You rascals, won't you move aside this minute!

There has been a strict order not to let anyone in.

Get out of the way!

What are you going to do if His Majesty's health is jeopardized?

You cannot go in without Grand Prince Sooyang's permission.

How's His Majesty?

His condition was stabilized after much trouble.

Princess.

How come you came all the way here?

I heard what Mother and Im were saying.

I heard that he is here. Where is he?

This is not a place for you to poke your nose into.

Go home.

Didn't you say you were going to make a marriage proposal to his family?

Using my marriage as an excuse,

did you go there to harm his family?

It's water under the bridge.

Please spare his life

I beg you, please spare his life.

Do I have to show you his cut head for you to give him up?

Were you such a cruel person?

His Majesty has suffered from a huge shock.

I have to see him, let the soldiers make a way.

I will look after His Majesty's health.

Princess, you go back to your room.

His Majesty needs me next to him.

Should something happen to His Majesty...

Perhaps... is that what you are wishing for?

Watch your words, princess!

I am not going to tolerate your impertinence any longer!

If you are not going to tolerate it, then what are you going to do?

Drag out the princess.

Please stop.

I will take Her Highness to His Majesty.

How dare you come forward?!

What is the reason to separate His Majesty who is ill from the princess?

Unless you really want something bad to happen to His Majesty...

please let Her Highness go to him.

Let's go.

Let her go.

What did I tell you?

When I told you that your father was eyeing the throne,

that he was trying to harm me and His Majesty,

you said no way and considered me cold-hearted.

Now that you see it with your own eyes, do you believe me?

Using your marriage as an excuse,

your father has slaughtered the Second State Councilor's household.

Do you perhaps know what happened to that person?

Are you talking about Kim Seung Yoo now?

Calling his name, even after seeing what your father has done,

you are incomparably brazen-faced!

That's rightKim Seung Yoo is dead.

The one who killed the Second State Councilor Kim Jong Seo and his son Kim Seung Yoo...

is none other than you!

Daughter-in-law,

Yes, Father.

Seung Yoo will be back soon. You take Ah Kang and your mother

and take refuge somewhere else.

How can I leave you all alone, Father?

If something goes awry,

the soldiers will storm this house.

Follow your father-in-law's order.

I can't lose you and Ah Kang as well.

That's rightKim Seung Yoo is dead.

The one who killed the Second State Councilor Kim Jong Seo and his son Kim Seung Yoo...

is none other than you!

Agasshi, the litter is ready.

It's time to return home.

Did something bad... really happen to him?

You must have seen it all.

Speak...

Did he really...?

Young Master!

Get out of the way.

Father

I'm fine

I'm going to go to the Ministry of Military Affairs. Lead the way.

Seung Yoo!

Sooyang!

I won't forgive you even from my grave!

Father.

Father!

Stop!

Why are you butting in?

We will wrap this up.

You go back to the princess's house.

Officer, don't even think about feasting on the food prepared by others.

We will cut off Kim Jong Seo's and Kim Seung Yoo's heads with our own handsand offer them to Grand Prince Sooyang.

Step back!

Fine.

We will let you have Kim Seung Yoo's.

But Kim Jong Seo's head, that we must take with us.

Since it's an esteemed head, make sure you don't lose it.

We have to go back now.

Wait for a bit.

In a quiet place,

I want to bury him.

You put too much strength into your shoulders.

Let's turn a blind eye to

the complicated world of our fathers.

Even if you go on your separate paths,

you should guard your friendship with your lives.

Do you think you can point your sword at Kim Seung Yoo?

This is the head of traitor Kim Jong Seo.

Kim Jong Seo, the old tiger

has finally kicked the bucket.

Yes, I'll say.

He was such a diehard.

Now, Grand Prince Sooyang's time has come.

Seung Yoo,

Arise!

In the future, you must, in my stead,

face off the evil host of Sooyang.

Sooyang,

I won't forgive you even from my grave!

Alive... let's meet alive later.

We beheaded Kim Jong Seo.

we completed driving out all treacherous government officials.

Shhh!

Watch what you say!

Now, the world is in Grand Prince Sooyang's hands.

Father.

Father.

Grand Prince Sooyang is supposed to pass by soon. Let's go watch.

He seems to have no tears or blood (inhumane).

What if just the sight of his face makes us piss in our pants?

Your father will come home soon.

Get ready to greet him.

A lot of people will be watching.

Even if by force, bring her out.

Yes, My Lady.

Here, now, step back!

I said step back. Step away!
