campfire

to let them know what he found
in the abandoned barn.

- He believes it may be tied to
events

that took place on a buffalo
ranch

he worked on 30 years ago.

over them mountains in central
Colorado.

I moved down here from Montana,

same harvested field,

once it was baled, caught fire
and burnt to the ground.

There's gotta be a connection.

The minute I saw that triangle
on that pig's head--

nothing's a coincidence that
we've done so far.

- The next day, the team meets
with the fire marshal...

the mysterious fire

that destroyed the harvest from
the wheat field.

I've been investigating fires

I'd have to say this is the
strangest

unexplainable fire that I've
ever investigated.

Well, let me show you guys some

This is what 150 tons of hay
looks like.

it just gives you a feel of how
big this fire was.

That's one of the things I do in
my investigation,

is I'll look for evidence of
arson.

same wheat field

that we just got done walking

a strange finding of his
investigation.

my investigation,

So it burned from both ends

It tells us where lightning
strikes.

For that day, for that time of
the fire,

there was not a single strike
within 10 miles of that.

- Shoot.

- Ain't those supposed to be
pretty accurate?

- They're very accurate.

- Well, that's just one more
thing

to go with everything else that
doesn't make sense,

because that means we've now
found a crop circle.

[dramatic music]

There was dead deer at the edges
of it

with their ears slicked off.

And then lightning turns around

and hits his pile after he bales
it.

the team then heads out with the
fire marshal

to examine the site of the
blaze.

Melts all the dirt, rock,

whatever's down in there all

Makes, like, a glass crystal.

- That's the biggest one I've
ever seen,

and I've collected a dozen of
those over the years.

We're gonna go look

at where the second lightning
bolt struck.

- Look how big this thing is.

- Everybody's heard that
lightning don't strike

twice in the same place, but
this stackyard,

it contradicts that.

- This is where the second hit
is.

- Nothing natural about this.

- So the flags, what they do is,

they help me visualize the
direction

of which way the fire went.

So hit there where the white
flag is

and traveled faster that way
than it did towards this way.

- Now, wait a minute.

When we were down there, you
said

that wind was coming out of the
southwest

pushing the fire this way.

And this one, the fire went that
way?

- Pushed in the opposite
direction.

- What's up with that?

- Unexplainable. - Think about
that.

- It burned against the wind...

- Instead of going on in that
direction,

- This field should be burned.

- You got that film still at
your firefighter shop?

So if you watch it, they were
actually

right here on this road.

according to this, right over
there.

That's where we need to go have
a hunt.

There's the stackyard that

Here's the crop circle field

all the way around it.

Ever since we've been out here
in the thick of all this,

I never really realized where we
was at.

and drops the hammer on us,

everything is happening right

on the tribal ground.

that side,

more to it than the tribal land.

He's missing four more head.

They're vanishing. No blood

- I did volunteer us again to go
look for these cows.
