My mom knew exactly
who she was at 19.

I think for me,
the difference is

I want to grow fully into

the human that I am
so confident in

before choosing someone in my
life that would complement that.

And I think that's a fair thing
to, you know, want.

This is the first time
I'm hearing from you saying,

like, "I want to have a fun life

and I want to do my own thing
because I-I'm young."

But I've never heard you
say that, ever.

Do you think that it would be

-a good idea to talk to Mom

-There's one thing about our family

is that we're bad

like I have more control

and be pressured into it.

really stressed out.

I'm a little old school,

thinking you have to get married

early and have kids right away.

more pressure on her.

that I should ease up

with her

that she wants to accomplish.

And it's really important
to have your own identity.

She can have a kid when
she's 40. It doesn't matter.

I want it to be on her terms.
