Episode 36

-Excuse me, do you know where Mt. Yao is? -Mt. Yao? Don't know

-Excuse me Sir, do you now where Mt. Yao is? -Mt. Yao? Don't know, why don't you go and ask down there

I've never heard of it before

Mister, do you know where Mt. Yao is?

Mt. Yao? Never heard of it

Young man, you can go to the sword smith shop in the front there.

It's said that the owner Mr. Yao is a man who knows everything

Go ask him. Perhaps he'll know where Mt. Yao is

Thank you.

SuSu.

Qing Xue.

Qing Xue. Qing Xue.

Young hero, are you here to buy a sword or to have a good sword made?

In a 100 square mile around Tong City,

there is no one who does not know that our the iron of sword is top graded and could cut hair with a blow.

Young hero has come to the right place.

Your sword looks like a good sword.

Don't know what...

Master Yao, I am not here to make a sword.

I want to find out where there is boat that could go to Mt. Yao?

Then you should go to the dock. Why are you here at my sword smith shop for questioning?

I don't have a boat here.

Earlier I went to the dock, but no one knows where is Mt. Yao.

I've heard from people around saying that the owner of the sword smith shop is an expert.

That's why I came here to ask.

I'm not an expert. Just that I've traveled to more places.

Kid, that is very far. What do you want to do there?

You know where it is?

You want information. You at least have to tell me what are you planning to do out there at sea.

Kid,

don't mind Master Yao speaking the truth.

Young people such as you like to risk your life too much.

Something like men should set their minds toward the horizon.

All day long thinking of how to go out to sea for treasure hunt and see the world.

What happens in the end? You unknowingly get into the stomach of a shark.

You listen to my advise.

It's better to go home as soon as possible.

I'm not doing it for treasure hunt or to seek immortality.

Then what are you reason? Could it be that you want to go feed the fish?

I have my own reason.

Forget it. Wooden blocks like you.

You haven't even start to grow hair (means he is too young). Who cares what your reason is.

Move, don't block my business.

Master Yao. Master Yao!

I really have things that I need to ask.

If you want information, okay.

Trade rule.

I don't care for money.

Then what do you want?

Treasure. Use a treasure to exchange for information.

What type of treasure do you want?

Aren't you carrying it on your back? That sword?

That is a definitely no. -Kid,

either you give me the sword, or you find me a good sword,

or you can leave.

SuSu.

SuSu.

Why am I so unlucky?

Weird.

Why is there such big difference between human and demon?

I followed you everyday without minding the hardship. And yet, you don't like me.

You are already this sick and are still thinking about that cold Wooden Face.

Forget it. Who tells me to be so kind?

I will go find a doctor.

Customer, this way please.

Doom.

Why is he like smoke that does not dissipate?

SuSu

Didn't you said you don't like peach blossom? Why did you watered it?

That is my business. It has nothing to do with you.

SuSu don't want me to care about your issues. But it's too late.

From the time we met when we were little, our fate has also began then.

Grandma told me

when 2 people meet, whether for a day or an hour, their relationship could not be erase.

My body is full of the the murderous aura. Even I couldn't control it.

Being with me, you might lost your life.

I know you want to chase me away because you are worry about me.

But what I wanted to say is

I can take good care of myself.

Ah Xiang

Do you think Qing Xue has return back to YouDu?

SuSu

SuSu.

Ah Xiang, I keep on having the feeling that Qing Xue is next to me.

Maybe I have been thinking too much.

I made her so upset.

Would she resent met?

Away from me, she is still the Spiritual Girl of YouDu.

The people of YouDu will take care of her much better than I.

Doctor, what exactly is her illness?

This is...? -Oh, she is my fiancee.

Just tell me how she is.

This lady's illness is not very serious. Just that her body is weak and needs some rest.

But she has rested for so long and have not show much signs of improvement.

That is because she is too weak. She needs substances. Needs lots of substances.

Lots of substances? How? Tell me.

Don't be anxious. I will give you a prescription.

Swallow's nest, ginseng, deer ear

That is deer antler. -Oh...

Deer antler. Deer antler.

Where can you buy these type of medicine?

You can go out and walk 200 steps. There is pharmacy there. You can buy all these medicine there.

Just the dragon bone...I also have not heard about it.

You've never heard about it, then why did you prescribed it? -I also have never seen this type of illness.

I have once read about these symptoms in the medical books.

I don't know what is dragon bone.

How much do the other medicine cost?

Oh, about 30 silver pieces.

30 silver pieces, that much?

The life of the lady is more much precious than this money.

Thank you. -Good-bye.

Master Yao.

Go ask Master Yao.

Master Yao. Master Yao!

What? It's you.

What is it this time?

Master Yao. You are known in JiangHu as the rare genius who knows everything.

Stop there.

I feel embarrassed hearing you say it.

Speak direct. What is it that you want to ask me about?

You are the best. I want to ask you

what is dragon bone?

Dragon bone.

If it is not talking about the hull of the sailboat, then it should be a thing.

That is the straight bone of a type of big fish in the sea.

Fish?

It said that this fish is about 100 meter long.

It can swallow the heavens and the earth.

It's the king of the water.

Then where can I find dragon bone?

Qin Chuan, Jiang Du, Tian Yong City?

Tian Yong City?

You know where you can get it?

But this thing is extremely rare. The price is not cheap.

Than exactly how does it cost? -It's 1500 pieces of gold..

What? One thousand...

Since you feel that our relationship makes it difficult

Than I am going to make it difficult for you all the way to the end. So that I'm not being wrongfully blamed by you.

I tell you, I am the person Youdu sent to watch over you

As a human I will follow you around, and as a ghost I won't let you go either!

No matter what you say today, it'll be useless. I'm following you for sure!

THIEF! Catch the thief!

Hurry! Don't let him get away!

Black Demon?

Why are you here?

-Why are YOU here? -You still dare to ask me?

Qing Xue is sick!

-How could she be hurt so badly -It's all because of you!

Qing Xue got injured because of you. And yet you didn't pay any attention to her. If I didn't secretly followed her

She would have fainted in the street.

You are awake.

SuSu.

Qing Xue, you are awake. How are you?

It is I who saved you.

She has not recover from her injures. Don't agitate her.

It was you who agitate her!

SuSu, did you have to go to Mt. Yao?

Why have you not started yet? -Your internal injures is very serious.

Your inner energy strength is almost all gone.

Why did you not tell me? -It's none of your business.

Is it since the Shi Royal tomb, your injures have not healed?

And you even fight with your clansmen because of me.

Didn't I say you are the world's black star?

Look, you've affected Qing Xue. -Don't say anymore.

Okay, okay. I will stop.

Hey, Wooden Face. Qing Yue is already injured to this point. Think of a way to save her.

Don't.

SuSu, you have the murderous aura in your body. If you give me your spiritual energy

what could we do if something happened?

Then I will go to the sword smith shop to see if there is any other methods.

This lady actually does have a very serious inner injuries.

And she also have old injuries that were not heal yet.

She did not good medical attention plus exhaustion from traveling.

To the point where her energy is disbursed and her spiritual strength is depleted.

If there is no magical strength filled talisman to protect refill the spiritual energy of her body

I'm afraid her life will not last long.

Where can we find a talisman filled with magical strength?

That depends on your ability and luck.

Other than the talisman, is there any other method?

If you can't find a talisman but can find a the inner cultivated pearl from a demon with high magical skills

of course that could also replenish her. -Around here, why can I find a talisman or demons?

Hey, it's only because I think this young woman is pitiful that I tell you so much

If you want to know more or other things, then hand the sword over.

Master Yao. Has business been very good lately?

So many people!

What did you come here for?

This stretch of harbor is all under my big brother

I came here to get the protection fee of course

That Xiang Tian Xiao that I do my business righteously and do not need protection.

Owner, if it wasn't for my brother, you wouldn't be able to have a shop here!

I don't need payment for giving this Miss a medical consultation.

Help me get rid of this kid

as payment.

Hey old man. What attitude is this?

Where did this pretty lady came from?

Use her as protection fee payment is okay too.

Beat it! -Who do you think you are?

Black coal face.

Just by you?

SuSu. -Young hero forgive my life. Young hero forgive my life.

I was blind. Young hero forgive my life. Young hero forgive my life.

Luckily you know what's good for you, kid

Judging by this young hero's skill, even your big brother could withstand no more than 10 of his blows

You better get lost and go home

Old man! He won't be here all day anyway. Just you wait!

Wait here!

You get some rest. I'll go and see if there's any other way to help you recover

Su Su! Aren't you in a hurry to go out to sea?

Don't get hold up because of me

But nobody here knows where Mt.Yao is

I can't swim there, can I?

So you stay behind to look after me...

...is just because you couldn't find a way to set sail.

That's also true

I can't go out to sea now. I'll only set out when you get better.

You're saying that once i get better, you will take me with you?

We'll talk again when you recover

I'll go out and look for a magical item or a Neidan

Black demon

You're really an ungrateful man, Baili Tusu! You want to take me...?

-Why would I want to marry you? (Sounds alike) - I mean, you want to take my Neidan

Im telling you to take good care of Qingxue

Im gonna find her some medicine

Rest well

What's wrong? Little Black cat

Qing Xue, if I give you my Neidan, both of us will not be able...

Who wants your inner energy pill?

I want to thank you

You've already helped me alot

Im sorry QingXue

Brother, that's the 'paralysed face' who spoilt our plan

Noodle shop? (Sound alike) He doesn't look like a noodle seller

Paralysed Face! Meaning paralysis.

Stop, kid. Poking your nose around with a broken sword?

How gutsy! Do you have any idea who am I?

How would I know if you yourself don't know?

My big brother is the valiant and heroic protector of Tong City, Xiang Tian Xiao!

You must not be familiar with our rules, kid. I'm in a good mood today. Let me teach you

Go down on your knees and say 'I'm sorry, big brother'

Perhaps I could let you off

Dont you see that my big brother is talking to you?

You stinky scumbag!

Not bad, kid!

Wait, kid! Stop there!

Brother! Buddy! Young hero!

-I didn't know you're so highly skilled! Are you interested in joining our gang? -Big brother!

I'm not interested in becoming an outlaw

Outlaw? What do you take me as?

-You..! You think I'm a bandit? I'm the best ship master ever in a hundred miles! -Yep! The best ship master!

You got a ship?

Not just that. My ship is of the best quality!

I tell you. There are only places that you've never heard of but there's no place that I can't reach!

Then do you know where Mt. Yao is?

Mount Yao? Er...is that an island?

Dont...don't worry. As long as you join me,

...we will certainly reach those thousands of islands someday, right? -Never mind.

Do you know where I can find a monster nearby?

Demons? There are none

Young hero, my brother and I still have some things to see to. We shall take our leave. Farewell. See you!

There's not a sight of a demon

No Neidan, no money

How can I buy some medicine for Qing Xue?

Ah Xiang, there's a demon?

Dont kill me

Don't be afraid, miss. I just passed by and noticed the enchantment around the woods so I thought there's a demon here

Enchantment? Demon?

-You think I'm a demon? I'm not human...I mean, I'm not a ghost! -I know

But why are you wandering around this place?

I'm here to look for my husband. I've looked for him for a long time

Someone is after me so I come to this place. But I was stuck in this wood. I can't seem to find my way out

My husband is called Zhuo Yun Fei. He lives at Mt. Lv not far from here

He was once a martial artist too! Literary talented and excellent in martial arts

If there's nothing else, I'm going

Wait!

Since you can lift the enchantment, your martial arts must be good too. How about you be my guard on our way to find my husband?

-I still have things to settle. You can find someone else - No way!

What if someone is after me again? My life will be at risk

As a swordsman, you shouldn't leave me in the lurch, should you?

Someone important to me is very ill

-I need to earn some money to get her some medicine. Sorry. -I got money!

Why don't you say so earlier? That's if you can escort me to my husband

My husband lives at the hibiscus garden at Mt. Lv. It'll only take a day to reach

-But... -No more buts. My husband is rich. He'll certainly pay you a high price!

Ah Xiang!

Ah Xiang, you go back to the hotel and tell Qing Xue and Black Demon that I will be gone for a few more days, and not to worry

That big bird is so amazing!

He can understand human speech!

Who's the Qing Xue you were talking about?

It must be someone very important to you!

Lover? Wife?

-Or... -Or maybe we should go look for your husband

Wait for me

Hey what's-your-name! Wait for me, what are you going so fast for?

-My name is Baili Tusu -Baili Tusu? What a special name!

You really are a big piece of wood

I'm so tired

Are you like this to the girl you like too?

She doesn't get mad at you?

Susu

Susu, if there's anything you should say it, don't keep it in your heart

Smile

To get a piece of ice like you to talk is harder than reaching the heavens!

Forget it, if you dont want to talk then dont, I'll talk

I'll tell you the story about me and my husband!

In the past, my father was a frequent visitor of the Jiang Hu. My parents loved me above all else.

But they wouldn't teach me martial arts

Because they didn't want to drag me into Jianghu matters

Three years ago, I heard a rich family had planted Mu Jin Flowers,

Coincidentally, it was the right season and it was very pleasant.

Since I was a child I'd liked Mu Jin flowers, so I sneaked out from home for a look

The flowers here are very beautiful. Are you the owner of this flower garden?

No. -Then why are you here?

Oh, you know the owner here. -I don't.

Then how did you get in? -Kind of like you.

This Mu Jin flower bloomed in the right season, a very rare sight.

So naturally I had to come and feast my eyes on them

So you're the same as me

Then you're still here at ease enjoying the flowers?

If I knew earlier I wouldn't have come in

If I said earlier would you have come in?

I came here to look at the flowers, not you

Then isn't that right?

Want to drink tea?

Okay

Please sit

Since you are treating me to tea, I'll brew it for you

You know tea?

Please try it

Thank you

I never thought that you have this skill

Hey! What are you doing over there?

Who are you guys?

-I'm asking you! Who are you? -Let's go

-Stop! Stop there, don't run! -Come with me

Say something!

You have to ask "and after that?" for me to continue

-Then what? You got engaged? -Of course not that fast!

Afterwards, before I even got engaged,

while my parents were returning home,

they were attacked by assassins. I also thought I wouldn't be able to avoid death

I never thought...

-Mother! -Wife!

I've been lied to by you all!

-Yue Er! Hurry and run!(x2) -Father!

Father!

Yue Er! Hurry and run! GO!

Brother Zuo!

How are you? Are you okay?

I'm okay

But my parents...

After I buried my parents, he didn't stay any longer

I wanted to wait after the period of honoring my parents was over, I'd go find him to repay him for saving my life

Since you guys already got engaged how come he didn't take care of you?

I... we never officially got engaged

But we both love each other!

We don't need any of those formalities

Does he also think that way?

Brother Zuo is a Jiang Hu hero. At that time he saw that I was suffering from losing my parents,

So he naturally wouldn't bring up things about marriage!

But I asked around! He already retired from Jiang Hu and made a little tea place for himself

If he didn't like me why would he name it Jin Yuen?

He must still have not forgotten me! If I find him, he'll definitely marry me

Your confidence reminds me of a friend of mine

Is it your lover? The one called Qing Xue?

How do you boys look at girls?

Is she like me? Is she really forward? Would you mind?

Hurry and tell me! How do you men think? I really want to know!

Were you guys like me and Brother Zuo? Meeting early on, the hero saving the maiden?

We knew each other since childhood

She did many things for me

But I didn't do anything for her

-Qing Xue! -As the Ling Nv, you dare defy Youdu?

Lets go

Susu dont, im qingxue

Why are you like this? You're too much

Keep talking, what happened later?

-What happened to her? -It's my fault

I didn't take good care of her

Rest early. We still have to hurry on tomorrow

What's this? You're like this now that I ask?

You're so boring. If I was Qing Xue I wouldn't like you.

Time to sleep!

I won't care about you!

T-t-this! It finally looks like a lion, not a dog!

Your magic arts are great

I can consider this an improvement. But don't spoil yourself, because your sister doesn't like you doing these things

Make good use of your time in Jiang Du to practice more

After you return to Qing Chan, don't make things hard for your sister anymore

So that's why I don't want to return to Qing Chuan!

You don't know that my sister's heart right now is getting ever harder to guess!

Every day she puts on a sulking face. I don't even know if it's because of me or Shao Gong

Compared to being a man, being a man that understands women is even harder!

Your sister always puts you first, everyone can see that. It's just that you don't understand

She knows much, and knows Jiang Hu is dangerous. That's why she's so worried about you

You should listen to her and go back to Qing Chuan

How can you play favorites?

You're fine with anything for Tusu but everything's not good when it comes to me!

I don't want to spend the rest of my life in Qing Chuan! I just don't want like doing business.

So that's why I ran out here. One must sleep in the long stretch of life.

But it's not like you won't walk for the rest of your life just because you're afraid of sleeping!

If people can't even make decisions on their own lives then what's the point of living?

Didn't Tusu live more freely after leaving Tian Yong City?

You're different from Tusu. You can't just up and leave on your own.

What difference is there? He just knows some more magic than I do

Teach me some more magic, and once I learn it well I can be like Tusu and travel Jiang Hu!

Lan Sheng, you must know that learning magic cannot be rushed

To be honest, based on your age and basics

even if you work harder it'll be hard to have much progress

-What's that mean? -What Tusu and I taught you was basic magic, you can use it to protect yourself

You also have your sister and the family business

You're grown up now, you have to take responsibility. Don't be stubborn anymore

I'm not being stubborn! I just don't understand

Why is it that when people grow up they can't live as they wish?

I don't want to grow up, and I don't want to spend my whole life in Qing Chuan

I just like being this way, free and being together with Xiang Ling

A person's life has many unions and breakups, how can people control everything that happens?

Treasure it when you are together, and let it go when you break up.

Accept reality.

What do you mean?

You mean that Xiang Ling and I are fated to be apart as human and demon?

But my 2nd sister is not against us being together.

I am not against you two together. Just that...may it be as you please.

What are you going to do for the rest of your life? Are you planing to stay in Tian Yong City for the rest of your life?

Back than, Honorable Master took me in and raise me. I must repay his grace.

When did you get adopted?

I've heard TuSu said that you were very young when you enter Tian Yong City, right?

About 7 or 8 years-old. It's getting late. We should return so that your 2nd sister won't get worry.

Made it. We finally made it here.

How do I look?

Good.

So weird, why am I so excited?

Anyone here?

Big brother Zhuo?

Big brother Zhuo, I finally found you.

I'm sorry, who are you?

You don't remember me?
