to brag about my daughter,

that Betsy is a finalist

for the Margaret Devane
Memorial Scholarship,

a very generous award

from a very prestigious
university in California.

[all murmuring]

And...

although she hasn't been
officially accepted yet...

I feel confident

that she'll be starting school
there in the fall.
