I learned a lot about Fraser

and the two wonderful people

that started the original
Snowflake Festival

and whose 60th
wedding anniversary

we are honoring here tonight,

Tom and June Anderson.

Their grandson Adam
was kind enough

to show me a poem
that Tom wrote June

about the night that they met.

Tom, his grandpa, always
wanted to set it to music

but never got the chance to,

so I decided to give it
the old Christmas try.

Now, I haven't composed
anything, as you know,

since middle school,

and all the songs
I've been singing lately

are Christmas carols,

so please do not expect
Lady Gaga.
