When Wyatt Earp left Dodge City for Arizona Territory,

he believed that his career as a peace officer was finished.

He wanted to hang up his guns and earn a modest income

as a rancher or miner.

Wyatt and his brothers were soon to learn

that Arizona had become the last stronghold of the outlaw.

A terrifying wilderness in which sheriffs and marshals

were open allies of cattle thieves and stage robbers.
