This couldn't be the more
perfect storm for bad **** to happen.

I'm a psychic medium.

Somebody is conjuring up the spirits
in this house, I swear to God.

I ask questions of the dead...

These people are grave robbers.

dealing with something demonic.

around here on this property.

it's like they can't remember

I feel like I have dementia

It's about an hour
east of Knoxville.

I got a call from a woman who sounds
like she's barely holding it together.

She thinks whatever's in
her house killed her fiance,

and is coming after her next.

I really hope Cindy and I
can help her out.

you sounded pretty desperate on the phone

like we need to find out
what the hell's going on here.

It's real bad.

I'm scared.

So, daily, day to day,
it's been a nightmare for you.

Now, did you have experiences
before moving in here?

Pretty much my whole life.

And when I was 15, I played with
Ouija boards and got possessed.

My dad actually wrote a book about
it, and this is it.

It has attacked me

He was a really cool, great guy.

and he and I.

- How old was he?

He was 36.

So, he was a young man.
Did he die in this house?

Yeah, in our bed.

What was his official cause of death?

He died of cardiac arrest.

Was he on any medication before he
died for any kind of illness or injury?

Pain pills and stuff.
- So opioids?

He drew some pictures for me

a week-and-a-half
before he died.

Did he say anything to you

like it's coming to get him

He didn't say that,
but he was so scared.

It means I'm not alone.

looking out for me, I guess.

I just saw an image of
somebody OD'ing on opioids.

That happened for sure.

And I feel like
this guy's spirit

is definitely present
in this house.

I know he had a drug addiction.

Do you know if he has any
interaction with the living?

I feel like he's protective
of the living.

He's super kind.

He doesn't want to see bad
things happen to this family.

He's actually like a big
brother to the girl upstairs.

So he's not here to do any
harm, he's actually a good guy.

why'd you bring me up here?

I've seen a couple different
shadow figures around the house.

Okay, so describe
what you're seeing.

It is a shadow figure
at the top of the stairs.

That's the one that Jesse drew.

The guy with the hat.

Okay, what's it doing?
Is it looking at you, or...

Sometimes.
Sometimes it pushes me.

Whoa, whoa, back it up.
What do you mean it pushes you?

I was thrown
against the wall three times.

By the shadow figure?

This is the first time
in over 200 investigations

that I've ever heard anybody say

that a shadow figure
pushed them or attacked them.

What else you got going on?

I woke up one day and I look
at the bathroom wall,

and it says,
"Give me what I want."

And I think it was in blood.

All right, you were talking about
this bathroom here? - Yes.

You didn't write this?
- Not that I remember.

So, you woke up one day,

and all that stuff was in the
bathroom, on the walls?

Right.

All right, I gotta be honest with
you, I'm not buying any of this.

I had blackouts
for a little while.

I would wake up down
at the bottom of the stairs.

So is it possible,
during one of those blackouts,

that you wrote all that stuff
and didn't know it?

It is possible,
but that is not my handwriting.

So are you into anything?

Like what?
- Yeah, witchcraft, but I...

So, what do you mean "witchcraft"?

Like white magic,
kitchen magic, protection.

- Since I was 13.

I feel like people are having seances.
That's the vibe that I get.

People in this family have a
history of connecting to spirits.

The woman who lives here
because she's hearing spirits,

she's coming across as being
delusional to other people.

So she's feeling
depression, anxiety.

Mental chaos.

I mean the stuff you got going

She told me she was doing witchcraft at
one point. She admitted that to me. - Yeah.

The I saw the stuff
written in the bathroom.

Did you write any of that stuff?

God, no.

So she doesn't know
how it got there.

whatever she was doing

with the Ouija board
and stuff like that

could have something to do with
what's going on in the house?

I don't know.

I've never really liked all that
witchcraft stuff, but she's a grown adult.

experiences you can tell me about?

Well, I get these
intrusive thoughts.

Okay, so, what do you
mean by that?

I'll hear this voice say,
"You'd be better off without her."

Meaning my daughter.

"You need to get rid of her."

That's not me,
I didn't say that.

It's another voice.
It's a male voice.

So, Bill,

Have you ever raised a hand
to your daughter?

No, I've never laid a hand on
her, never touched her,

never spanked her, nothing.

All right. Bill, what else
can you tell me about?

Well, my moods change.

I'm a very laid-back guy.
You know, old hippie.

And since we've been here,

I'll get mad over the
stupidest little things.

Are the mood changes causing you
two guys to fight with each other?

Yeah.

I wish I could say no, but verbally,
it gets pretty bad sometimes.

I just wanna get out of this

Whoever is in this room
is really angry all the time.

Like, really pissed off.

There's a lot of rage and anger.

is causing that?

It's the land,
it's whatever's going on upstairs,

it's criminal guy
that's in here.

This is a terrible location.

There have been strange sounds.

Okay. Like what?

Like you're lying in bed,
you're trying to go to sleep,

and it sounds
like rats scratching.

And we've been here
two-and-a-half years,

and I have yet to see
a rat or a mouse.

I mean, you do have cats.

Yeah, but they're
in the bed with me.

Okay. Even if half of the stuff
that's going on here was true,

it's one of the worst cases
I've ever worked.

Wow.

I'm out of my wheelhouse when
it comes to the paranormal.

I'll leave that to Cindy.

Speaking of Cindy,
what if she turns around and tells you,

"Listen, if you guys stay
here, somebody's gonna die."

We'll have to leave.

We have to go.
- Okay.

Financially, I don't know
how we're gonna do it,

...'cause I sunk everything
I've got into this place. - Right.

But if she says

that if you stay here,
something's gonna kill Brittany, then we go.

Okay.

I keep hearing
scratching on the walls.

But it's not animals, you know?

It's paranormal.

It's sounds like somebody's running
their fingernails down the walls,

it sounds like somebody's running
their fingernails on the window.

You'll hear something, so you don't
feel safe. There's no safe space.

Anything in particular
doing that?

It's inhuman.

It's because of the witchcraft
going on.

And I feel like
it's created an opening

that's allowed
this inhuman thing to come in.

It's just growing
more and more aggressive.

Is it interacting
with the living in anyway?

There's been an increase
in depression,

but also this presence is making this
person want to hurt other people.

That makes me concerned because not only
do we have a murderer in this house,

but now we have
something inhuman

that wants to make people
hurt each other.

This couldn't be
the more perfect storm

for bad **** to happen.

There's a cemetery
just down the road

from Bill and Brittany's house.

You can't miss it
on your way in.

So I called a local professor and she
tells me it has some strange stories

I definitely need to know about.

Paula, I appreciate you
helping me out with my case.

This cemetery,
what can you tell me about it?

Lantana Cemetery is 1.7 acres and it
has at least 320 headstones in it.

And the earliest burials here date
back to 1886, and are mostly children.

Okay. So, Paula, I'm a little turned
around, I'm not from here.

My client's house,
how far is it from here?

It's about
half a mile from here.

Okay. So this seems like a
typical neighborhood cemetery.

You said this place has some
strange stories. What did you mean by that?

Some of the buried here
do seem a little out of place.

In what way?

Well, in 1919, Mary Ann Andrews

fell sick with typhoid
fever in Chattanooga,

and her husband, J.J.,
brought her home to Crossville

...to recuperate and recover,
but she never did. - Okay.

Sadly, she's buried here
all alone.

And in fact,
I've got her death certificate here.

Okay, so the husband
is not here?

No, he remarried,
he moved to California,

and he's buried
with their two sons.

All right, so she definitely
seems out of place. Anybody else?

In January, 1950, there was a military
plane flying from Alaska to Montana

and it disappeared over the Canadian
wilderness with 44 people on board.

The plane was never found,
no survivors were ever found,

and not even any wreckage
was ever discovered.

How does that
tie into the cemetery?

One of the missing is a Corporal
Richard Suggs who was only 20 years old,

and his family
was living in Crossville.

And about a decade later,

his mother finally decided to embrace or
accept the idea that he wasn't coming back,

and she applied for a
military headstone for him.

And in fact, I've got
the application right here.

Okay, so he has
a headstone here, but no body.

Correct.

So his marker's here,
but his body is somewhere in Canada

close to 3,000 miles from here.

Okay. So it sounds like there's some
people here who are not at rest.

Yeah.

I see a skeleton,
but the head is missing.

I see the skeleton from the head
down, one part of it,

and the head is somewhere else.

I feel that there's a man
here, he's super angry.

I know that there's a dead man
who is on this property

who's really mad because
it's like his grave got moved

or something got misplaced.

And does he have any
interaction with the living?

I know the family here
see shadows.

Shadow figures on the land.

I need to do automatic writing.

The house is full
of angry spirits

because of how
they moved the bodies.

And there's a lot
of pissed off spirits.

We have a mob of angry ghosts.

I keep seeing people
getting sick in this house.

It's not good.

So far,
I've got a client terrified

something evil's
gonna kill her on her property

just on the road from a cemetery

with some dead people
who are not at rest.

But I wanna see
if there's anything else.

Searching through old records,

I came across the story of a man

who was murdered
by his own son-in-law.

Turns out he's buried
at that same cemetery

just down the road
from my client's house.

So I'm heading over
to meet a local investigator.

He says people around here are
still talking about this case.

That's because the killer's wife
remarried to yet another murderer.

Well, Eddie, thanks for helping
me out. It's good to see you again.

What do we know
about this murder victim?

Yeah, Marshel Houston,

he was a railroad signalman and
lived in Tennessee with his wife.

and they moved around, um,
raising their children of five.

So what I understand,
one of his kids was married to the murderer.

Who was that?

Yeah, that was
his oldest daughter, Dorothy.

Dorothy met him as a teenager.

All right, so now, Dorothy's married
to the guy that kills her father.

What do we know about that guy?

Virgil Pearson.
He was a violent guy.

They had a rocky relationship.
In 1937, they filed for divorce

because they couldn't
live together happily anymore.

All right, let's get to the murder
of Marshall. When did it happen?

It was early morning of
August 30th, 1937.

Marshall went over to Virgil's house
to get some belongings of Dorothy's.

He packed his stuff and,
as he was leaving, he forgot his pistol.

We only know that when he
went back into the house,

Virgil shot him in the head.

I have his
death certificate here.

"Gunshot wound to the head.
Supposed accident."

What the hell does
Virgil even say happened?

Hell, he didn't even know that
he had shot his father-in-law.

I mean, how can you not know?

They indicated he was drunk.

So he was so drunk that he shoots
his father-in-law in the head

and doesn't realize it?
- Doesn't realize it?

You ever been that drunk?

I've never been that drunk.
- Me neither.

All right, so that's a ****
story, but they bought it.

They bought it.

So in the phone, Eddie,
you said that she married another murderer.

Who was this guy?
- Yeah.

It appears that her taste in
men didn't get any better.

In 1940, she married
another guy, Fred Denton.

He was a divorced
reverend-turned-hotel owner.

30 years older than Dorothy.

All right, let's get to the murder.
What the hell happened?

Yeah, December 17th, 1948.

Police were called to the house

with neighbors saying
that there were shots fired.

Turns out,
Fred shot Dorothy in the head.

Here's her
death certificate for that.

All right, jeez.
She was only 33 years old.

I have a picture of her
here as well.

All right,
so I assume the cops take him into custody.

What did he say?

Yeah, he tells the police that
he was just trying to scare her,

and shot her accidentally.

So does Fred do any time?

He only gets convicted
of involuntary manslaughter.

And he only does one year
at the county workhouse.

Not for nothin',
but this poor woman couldn't,

you know, pick the one of a one-horse race.
She had no luck.

Yeah.

I'm seeing the killer again.

People in town knew who he was.

I see him getting into
trouble with the law a lot.

People in town, um,
just thought he was a bad dude.

He had a reputation.

He keeps showing me that
he would've been locked up.

I keep hearing him say,
"I was in the papers.

They found me
guilty of murder."

Bill and Brittany's house is
literally in the middle of nowhere.

So when I called the local Sheriff's
department, I wasn't expecting much.

Turns out,
there was a brutal double homicide

just down the street
from the house.

And the detective who worked the
case has agreed to talk to me.

So, Jeff, thanks for
helping me out with my case.

I under you actually
worked this investigation.

That's right, Steve.

Myself, along with some
other investigators

conducted this investigation
back in 2006.

All right, so before we even get to
that, what do we know about the victim?

The victims in this case was
a 27-year-old mother of two

by the name of Kimberly Wyatt

and her beautiful four-year-old
daughter named Sarah.

So, what the hell happened?

Kimberly had just recently went through
a divorce, and she was dating two men.

One of those men
was the name of Alex Boslin.

He was a correctional officer
at the prison where she worked.

Second guy was Houston Lloyd. He was
a 48-year-old married father of three.

And he also worked at... with... for The
Tennessee Department of Corrections.

But he worked at a
separate prison as a nurse.

They had dated
for a short period.

Let's get to the murder.
What the hell happened?

On the evening
of June 3rd, 2006,

Kimberly was in the vehicle
with her two daughters,

Karen who was six,
Sarah who was four.

And she passes
Alex Boslin on the highway

and flashes her lights at him,
signaling for him to pull over.

And they pull into the parking lot
of the Lantana Church of Christ.

How far was that from my client's house?
Do we know?

It's approximately
2,500 feet, Steve.

Okay, so less than a mile.
Half a mile. - That's correct.

They're on the parking lot now.
What happens next?

Alex was actually helping
Kimberly get

her two daughters out of her
vehicle, and over into his vehicle.

Okay. - And that's when
Houston Lloyd pulled in,

driving a black Nissan Altima.

He got out of
the black Nissan Altima,

come around their vehicles,
and opened fire,

striking Sarah in the neck.

Sarah's the four-year-old, right?
- Thats correct.

What happens next?

He turned the weapon onto
Kimberly Wyatt and began firing.

He shot her eight times
in her upper torse.

All right. So with
all this shooting going on,

was the six-year-old
hurt at all?

She was not. She was actually
in the vehicle with Alex,

and he was trying to protect
her while he was calling 911.

All right. So, what's the story with
Lloyd, man? You guys got him?

We did. He actually fled the
scene after a 36-mile chase.

We took him into custody.

He was subsequently charged with
two counts of first-degree murder.

Murder one's usually
death penalty.

Um, did he plea out?
Did he go to trial? What happened?

What happened was,
the family decided

that it probably wouldn't
be in Karen's best interests

to the surviving child
to testify.

They were seeking
the death penalty.

And they found him guilty,
and gave him life in prison.

Okay. So sounds like
he copped a plea

because the family didn't
want the trial to happen.

Does he have any chance at parole?
- No.

Did he ever explain
why the hell he did all this?

Actually, Steve, in his
sentencing, he told the court

that on that day,
he had evil in him.

There's always those cases that stand
out to you, and you'll never forget 'em.

And this is one of those
cases that I'll never forget.

Yeah. And they wonder why we
don't sleep at night. - Yes.

I saw several
terrifying things in my walk.

But two really stood out.

First, the angry mob of dead
people gathering around the house.

You can see the house kind of
here, is an A-frame house.

And then, there's this yard, and then
you could see just a mob of dead people.

And they looked
like shadow peoples.

A little bit further away
from the house in my vision.

Next, I describe the angry dead man
attacking the living woman in bed.

So, this scene,
I was seeing was from the perspective

of standing in the entryway
of the bedroom.

So I could see her,
and I could see him over her.

What expression
did you see for her?

In my vision, I could see her screaming
at the top of her lungs waking up.

Cindy, is this what you saw?

That's definitely what I saw.

Now that Cindy and I have
completed our investigations,

we're ready to reveal
our findings to each other

and our clients
for the first time.

So, Cindy, I want you to meet
Brittany and her father Bill.

They live in this house alone.

Now, I've been investigating
these cases about 12 years.

I thought I heard it all.

Um...

What these guys are going
through, it's a whole other level.

So they're praying you could show them
how to get rid of whatever's here,

so that they could
live in this house in peace.

So now that Cindy knows a
little bit about you guys,

she'll tell us about her walk.

So when I first arrived,
I saw a mob of dead people.

There are like
15 or 20 dead people.

I think you guys probably
see shadow figures

in the yard in the back.

And being around this kind of
energy, this dead energy,

it can create health issues.

That makes sense.

So, I had a sketch done
of what I saw.

This ain't creepy.

Holy crap.
- My God.

I think I'm gonna throw up.

It's a little tough to see, huh?

And terrifying.

I see a lot of shadow figures.

I've been attacked.

So, do me a favor. Tell Cindy about how
do your attacks usually happen to you.

I've been thrown up against
walls, I've been punched.

They pushed me down the stairs.

I saw your pain.
I saw a lot of it.

And I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry that
you've been through so much pain.

Really.

Any sense of
who these people are,

these dead people,
or where they're even coming from?

I kept seeing all these graves
being moved or misplaced.

So because of that,
the dead are really angry.

It's like they're not really resting.
They're not at peace.

They're really pissed off.

So, I'm sure you guys know
you live about a half a mile

from the local cemetery,
right? It's right here.

Yeah.
- Yeah.

It's called
the Lantana Cemetery.

I went over there and met
with a local historian, and

what stood out to me was that
some of the people buried there

really didn't belong in that
cemetery, which I thought was odd.

So, I'm wondering if these dead people
might be coming in from this cemetery.

Is it possible?
- No.

To me, it felt more like there would've
been people buried on that plot,

and then they
would've been moved.

Maybe Native Americans.

Okay.
So, how else did the walk go?

When I got
to the bottom of the stairs,

I looked up and I saw this dead
guy walking back and forth.

And I knew that he had died
from an opioid overdose,

that he had
an addiction to drugs.

And I believe that this
happened in the house.

And his spirit
is very much still there.

He's kind.
I feel like he's a good guy.

And he's concerned about you.

And wants you to be okay.

Yeah. I knew
you were going to need this.

upstairs bedroom earlier this year.

Did he struggle with addiction?

Yes.

about a week before he died?

About a week.
- About a week. Yeah.

These were things he
was seeing around the house?

Weel, he was going
through something dark,

or experiencing
something dark as well.

I don't really know
how to feel right now.

Do you think that paranormal had
anything to do with Jessie's death?

I don't want to say
it's just the paranormal.

Right. - Do I think that
the energy on this property

and in this house is contributing
to people's ailments,

psychological issues,
physical issues? Yes.

So,
what else did you see on your walk?

I got that a lot of problems
that are happening in this house

are stemming from
somebody who's alive.

A woman who's
performing witchcraft.

Um, I don't think this person is
trying to intentionally harm anybody.

But there is something
being done incorrectly.

And what this is doing,
is creating portals,

entry points for spirits
to come in.

And it's opening up a lot
of bad stuff.

I have done witchcraft.

But, to my knowledge,
it really was like protection type stuff.

But you consider yourself
a witch, right?

Not anymore, no.
- But you did?

Yes.

Is that causing the problem?
Some of the problems?

It's... Yes.

It is.

found written
on the bathroom wall.

It looked like it was written
with blood and it was backwards.

And it said,
"Give me what I want and I will go."

So, I don't know if you saw this
when you went into the bathroom.

This is all the other stuff
that's up in the walls there.

She swears
she didn't write any of this.

Wow.

But she also admitted to me
that you black out at times.

I'm concerned.
I'm really concerned.

I saw that the witchcraft
that you were performing

created this inhuman thing.

It sounds like somebody's running
their fingernails down the walls,

it sounds like somebody's running
their fingernails on the window.

There's no safe space.

This entity is what's causing
a lot of the depression.

And I feel like it's
creating violent thoughts.

So,
it's making people that are alive

want to hurt other people
that are alive.

Let's start with the scratching
you hear in the walls, Bill.

So, what else we got going on?

Now we're going to talk about
a dead man who is in the house.

He's very present,
and I feel he's very dangerous.

When I first saw him,
he was staggering drunk.

He had a reputation
as a bad guy.

He was always
in trouble with the law.

He kept saying to me,
"They found me guilty."

So I believe
that he was a murderer.

He hates women and wants revenge.
- Makes sense.

So, I'm going to tell you about
this woman here. Her name is...

Dorothy Houston.

She's a local woman who's
actually buried at this cemetery.

Believe it nor not.

Now, this woman was married twice,
and both men were murderers.

What? - Both the husbands.
Yeah.

First husband was a guy
named Virgil Pearson.

Now, Dorothy married him
when she was just a teenager.

Now, in 1937,
Dorothy and him broke up.

Dorothy sent her dad to Virgil's
house to get all her stuff.

But the dad didn't trust the
guy, so he went with a gun.

Big mistake.

While the father was there,
Virgil took the gun and shot him in the head.

Now, when police questioned him
Virgil said he was so drunk,

he didn't remember the incident.

Basically,
he wasn't charged with the murder.

He got away with it.

Now, in 1940, she remarries.

This time, to a guy
named Fred Denton, um,

who was 30 years older than her.

In 1948, the cops
got a call from the neighbors

saying they heard
shots fired at the house.

When the cops got the scene,

Dorothy was dead.
She'd been shot in the head.

Now, this was big news
and it was in the paper.

At trial,
Denton admitted he killed his wife

but argued it was self-defense.

Amazingly, the jury bought it.

He served less than
a year in prison.

So, do you think it could
be one of these two husbands

that's the guy in the house?

It sounds a lot like Virgil to me.

I saw he was drunk,

I saw, he definitely shot a man.

I felt like a guy had been shot.

The thing is, sweetie, if we didn't find
out what the hell was going on here,

you'd be living in a nightmare.

Whatever it is,
it's pissed that we're here.

so much and suffered so much loss.

If life was fair,
you would be living in peace right now.

But unfortunately,
you have a fight on your hands.

And now we're going to find
out if it's even winnable.

I really think that you should bring
somebody in that practices paganism

or Wicca that can help you
close some of the portals

that you've opened
by practicing witchcraft.

They can also push back the mob of
spirits that are walking on your property.

So, it'll create a barrier
around your house.

inhuman thing they're talking about?

For him, I recommend that you
bring in an alpha male medium.

Somebody that isn't afraid
to stand up to this guy.

It won't be easy

but he should be able
to move Virgil on.

Those are things that I'd do to
deal with the paranormal activity.

But I feel like there are some
things that you can be doing

to really take care of you.

Because until
you take care of you,

this stuff is going
to keep happening.

So, I recommend therapy.

I recommend meditation,
things to get you grounded.

and Brittany bring in a Wiccan

and a medium to remove the dead
who've been tormenting them.

Once they do that,
and Brittany starts therapy,

I believe things at home
will get better.

live a safe and peaceful life.
