to carry on his work

and document their experiences

that became the New Testament.

those apostles were killed.

And some of the most plain
and precious truths were lost.

After His resurrection
and ascension into heaven,

He came back and
visited His people

on this, the American continent,

and He chose 12 new apostles.

In this sacred book,
the Lord restores

all of those plain
and precious truths

so that we can
return home again.

And all because He loves us.

The scriptures teach us

that in the mouth of
two or three witnesses,

will the truth of God's
word be established.

The Book of Mormon stands
as a second witness

to Jesus Christ, and a
companion to the Bible.
