This is actually where the
first thanksgiving was held.

This is the birthplace
of america right here.

This james river is a beast.

Back in what, 16, 1700s,

This was the central highway.

I mean, there should be
layers of history here.

- Oh, it will be.

In 1619, a small group
of english settlers

Landed on the james.

After a two and a half
month ordeal on a boat,

They got down on their knees
and thanked almighty god

For a safe passage
to the new world.

Many historians consider this
the first thanksgiving dinner.

In the centuries that followed,

Berkeley remained a
very important part
of american history.

This is the place where the

I love finding these things.
