pursuing two robbery suspects.

I hear this gunshot over on Hudson's side.

I see this guy. I don't know who he is,
this Szymanski.

Now, he's holding a handgun
and he shoots Hudson,

close range, a bunch of times.

are wearing your vests at the time?

while you're running

to risk their own safety

by chasing the perps in order
to protect the citizens on the street.

I assume Hudson wasn't wearing
his bulletproof vest

for similar heroic reasons?

Hudson, by not wearing his vest,
didn't damage anyone except for Hudson.
