- Well, it came down to
a simple show of hands.

It was two for E-Fax Consulting
and two for Axle Point.

I think because he wanted to
show other men in the room

takes on a life of its own.

Then fast forward to today,

I guess I just don't really have time

for anybody else in my life right now.

I guess you're staying here?

- Yeah, I got a room upstairs.

I'm in town for the next
couple of days or so

then I'm headed back home.

- Wanna do bars or dinner sometime?

- Yeah sure, if you're free.

I got all the time in the world now.

All I do is watch my
neighbor's wife in the garden.

- Sleeping Beauty awakens.

- Same as yesterday, I'm still tired.

It's been six years now.

- Max and my mom had a
relationship when they were younger

before she met my father.

After my dad passed,

my mom would always tell me about this man

that she loved very much

and that she thought she would spend

the rest of her life with.

That was Max.

She would always tell
me stories about them

and how that was one of the
happiest times of her life.

My mom loved my dad, don't get me wrong.

I just, I don't think that
she ever really got over Max.

- My God, this is so sad.

- Well, the way that she described it,

it had happened after they
had been together for awhile.

but my mom was expecting a ring.

See, Max had this thing with marriage.

Basically, he didn't wanna get married.

And my mom was ready to start a family.

And she was more of a
traditional type of person.

And she thought that
they should be married

before any of that could happen.

- She wound up moving
back home to Phoenix.

She said that she waited for
Max for almost three years,

but he never showed.

They had spoken a few times,

but he never changed
