You look for Bohn's plate number
which he had engraved himself

right here in the top corner.
These numbers never appear in the originals

but if the frame or the mount
covers the number... you'll never spot it.

Some dealers rub them out with fine sandpaper
but then the paints soaks in slightly darker.

How much would you say for them, then?

Well, they're nicely colored but...
