the public has a right to know...

that the federal, state
and local governments

are working in concert
to uncover the truth.

And to the extent that a
crime has been committed,

to bring those responsible to justice,
whether they're wearing uniforms or not.

And as deputy police chief, I'll do
what I can to make sure that happens.

However, if an officer really
raped and killed this kid,

it may be better for the U.S.
Attorney's office to take control.

I don't think it's appropriate. This case
is loaded with federal issues, Arthur,
