I really do love
that about you.

a lot about people,

it's difficult for people

to see.

- I do put on
an exterior, for sure,

that I don't think people
would necessarily understand

until you got to know me.

- I definitely had
some adversity.

I struggled with a lot of
things in my childhood,

but I always said,
like, I want to change

that generational trauma.

Like, I want to be
the one that changes how--

Like, we have one married
couple in my whole family--

one, and I have a huge family.

My dad had four wives.

- So, yeah, I moved out at 17.

And I lived in a group home...
- Mm-hmm.

- For a little bit,

and I didn't speak to
my family...

for a while.

I grew a lot from it.

But I really was, like,
embarrassed by it.

And, like, there are still
people in my adult life

that I've met
that don't even know that.

Um...

You know, sometimes
it's just, like,

you want to protect yourself.

And you don't want to
be viewed as if--

like, what you come from.

You want to be viewed
from who you see.

But I do understand
that, like, sometimes

what you see is
not actually

who the person is
on the inside.

So, because I care about you,
I'm okay speaking on it.

- Yeah.

- But it's scary,
because, like,

you don't want to be vulnerable
about stuff like that.

- Yeah.

Well, I really
appreciate you opening up

and telling me that.

Um, and, you know,

everyone has, you know,
their inner demons.

Like, yeah, like,
I've had things

I've dealt with in the past.

You know, like, probably
seven years ago, like,

I've dealt with a little
bit of depression.

You know, it comes
and goes in phases.

It's definitely very
difficult to talk about.

Like, this is--like, right now
this is my first time

bringing it up to anybody.

- But I don't know.

I think you just--you make me,
like, feel very comfortable.

- And, I mean, that's something
that I think

you could definitely help me,
you know, with my struggles.

- Yeah.

- And I really think
that, you know,

I could really be there for you
and help you with yours.

- I do, too.

And that's what
I've been wanting...

- And kind of waiting for.

And it's just crazy,
because you're probably

the last person I thought.

- But it also
just feels so right.

And I think that is coming from
a place of comfort and safety.

And I see you as someone that

want to grow with
and do life with.

And I would love to be there
to help you through anything...

- I mean, just the way that you
are, the way you make me feel,

I don't have any
interest in anybody else.

Two years ago, Mari and Kenny
met as strangers in Paradise.

Mari arrived with
an open heart,

and Kenny arrived
completely naked.

was full of its ups and downs,
but, ultimately,

after cleansing their
energies,

these two found a best friend,

a co-parent for Monster
and Dice, their beautiful dogs.

They found someone who
saw the best in them

and someone who not only
accepted them for their flaws,

but also love them for it.

And I think, most importantly,

they found someone who refused
to give up on them.

So it's with great joy
that two years later,

we are back here to witness
the culmination of Mari

and Kenny's love story as
they commit to a lifetime

together as husband and wife.

their own personalized vows
