In dressage you learn how
to tune in to your horse,

learn how to communicate so
your horse knows what you want

and you know what he wants.

Now once you've gotten
really good at that,

then you can both perform
at the highest level,

and I'm tellin' ya,
there's nothin' prettier

than a horse and rider moving
as one in perfect harmony.

Oh, and another thing.

Along the way, I bet you
both lose your hearts

to some very great horses.

let me explain that a musical

freestyle is Grand Prixdressage movements set to music.

Each team of horses and rider
have specific mandatory moves

that must be executed
within a set time limit.

The judge will be looking
for how well the team

works together, how harmonious
they are with the music,

body and leg commands
used by the rider must be

almost undetectable, and
the horse's leg and foot

positions are critical.

When all these
pieces are sorted out

and the numbers tallied,
we'll have a new champion,
