Basically, the cystic fibrosis
is causing Corinne's mucus

to clog the passages that carry
air in and out of the lungs.

But the good news
is that she's showing

tremendous signs of improvement.

And assuming
there's no significant setbacks,

I don't find a reason
why we couldn't discharge

in the next day or so.

But?

But the damage caused
by the infection

is irreversible.
