the animal at the morgue.

a time of death.

are all convinced

that their horse will be
the next victim

and they won't let me
hear the end of it!

patrolling their stables

24 hours a day.

An idea came to me

when we were installing cameras
for surveillance purposes

last winter.

of constantly surveilling,

suggest he died

Well, that exonerates
a number of suspects,

- There is one other
interesting thing

I can't find
any explanation for.

It may be unrelated.

- His ear is... singed?

- As if someone held
a match to it.

the electricity

was recently installed.

on the horse's backside,
as well as his ear.

And then he would have died
so quickly

that the collapse
broke his neck.

that could indicate
a fight that went badly.

something he found in here,

premeditated murder.

to tell us anything.

and I knew if I called for help,

to kill him before the race.

They then split the proceeds.
So these West brothers

had to kill Baccarat
before he ran,

or else Mrs. Marshall
would know she'd been conned.
