A man who's flown all the way

My father, Colonel John Camden.

In fact, it was my father
who inspired today's sermon.

Dad was a colonel
in the Marine Corps,

a decorated hero who fought
in World War II and Korea,

and he is indeed
one of the few good men.

It's taken me a lifetime to learn
that when my father speaks,

it's a good idea to listen.

Because I've found over
and over again, that when I've rebelled

against his wise counsel,

I just get myself in trouble.
