-Snow cone's here! -(gasps)

Not at all! That's exactly where the Frozen Land goes!

Now we've got all the important parts of Cretacia.

"Dino Dash" is ready to play!

Uh... What's that?

Well, Rocky wanted to add the maze,

and I wanted to add the cornfields...

So we compromised and made a corn maze.

So... uh... how do ya play?

You move your piece around the board

and you to try to get to the end of Cretacia first.

But every space has something to do, and it can be tricky.

Oh, Mount Oblivion erupts. Lose a turn, Bill.

"Always"? We haven't even played the game yet!

Looks like we forgot to make it for the game board.

Well, we can't play Dino Dash without Mount Oblivion!

Okay, so who wants to make a volcano real quick?

BOTH: I do! You do? I do, too!

(laughter)

I guess we both want to!

I thought I would do it

because I'm good at sculptures and stuff.

And I thought I'd do it because I'm good at scientific projects.

Then why don't you make it together?

Just like Rocky and I did with the corn maze?

Yeah, with both of you working on it,

I'm sure we'll have an awesome Mount Oblivion in no time!

BOTH: Good idea!

Uh, while we're waiting, can I lick the Frozen Land?

Okay, let's collect the materials we need to make our volcano.

And I know just what we need!

(grunting)

-Aah! -Oops!

Trying to make a volcano for our new game.

(gasps)

And I think these leaves will be perfect for it!

Leaves? Why would we make the volcano out of leaves?

Because they're nice and colorful!

But why wouldn't we use rocks, which are more realistic?

Rocks will definitely last longer than flimsy leaves.

has anything to do with making a volcano.

A new game, Patchy. It's called "Dino Dash"!

Oh! Giganto's coming! Go hide in the cave.

It would be cool if our mini Mount Oblivion could erupt,

-don't you think? -Absolutely!

And I know just what should come out.

-Lava! -Sparkles!

Ooh!

-Sparkles? -Lava?

Why would we use sparkles?

Because they're pretty!

-Why would we use lava? -Because it's cool!

-And also dangerous! -We wouldn't use real lava,

just the nectar from that fire flower over there.

It's a much better idea than sparkles.

-That's just silly. -Silly?

Why can't the volcano be artistic?

Because it should be realistic!

-Artistic! -Realistic!

Aah!

BOTH: Which should it be?

Who cares? I gotta find a cave!

(both groan)

I don't think this is gonna work.

Maybe we should just make separate volcanoes.

And Rocky and Bill can decide which one to use in the game.

Yeah, that seems fair.

Well, I guess I'll go start my volcano, then.

Me too. May the best volcano win!

BOTH: That'll be mine!

(light music)

Three. Go ahead, Marsh. Move forward three spaces.

Oh! (chuckles)

River overflowing. Go back two steps.

Time for a barbecue! Head straight to Mount Oblivion.

-MAZU AND TINY: Now there is! -Huh?

(both panting)

MAZU: Mine has lava!

I think they're both too big.

BOTH: Huh?

(both grunt)

(screams)

Is that lava?

No, just nectar from a fire flower!

Aah! And what's that?

It's just sparkles from the sparkle flower!

It's not dangerous!

Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

(rumbles)

Except when it mixes with fire nectar!

TINY AND MAZU: Oh no!

-RUGO: The Frozen Land is melting! -The corn maze is popping!

Dino Dash is destroyed!

This is all our fault!

All because we had to make two volcanoes.

But why'd you have to do that?

I thought you were making one together.

We tried...

But we couldn't agree on anything.

You mean, the way Rocky and I couldn't agree on corn

or a maze, so we made a corn maze?

Or the way my cousins and I can't always agree

on whose burrow to dig, so we take turns?

Or the way my shadow and me don't always wanna go

in the same direction?

-Uh... -Huh?

Well, yeah...

Except for that last one.

Nobody agrees all the time. That's why you gotta compromise!

-I guess you're right. -We didn't really try that.

-(thumps) -Whoa!

(roars)

Oh, well, I guess the game is over.

(pants, grunts)

Oh! Lunchtime? I thought we could go over

to the geyser for a bath first.

I'm a little sticky from those sparkles.

Oh! Great idea, Giganto! Lunch at the geysers?

See? Everybody compromises! Even Giganto!

Rugo's right. Everybody compromises.

So, I guess that means we can too?

-Definitely! -Great!

Then let's rebuild this game... together!

-And we'll make it even better! -Deal!

(snoring)

Neither. We went with something that'll make everyone happy.

Ah, there's nothing like a ride to the Frozen Land

on a hot summer day, huh, kids?

I'm afraid we have a big problem on our hands.

MAZU: Every summer, some of the snow in the Frozen Land

melts and turns into water,

which flows down the river into Cretacia.

That's right. That's how we get our drinking water.

And have our boat races!

But this summer is much hotter than usual,

so a lot more snow is melting.

All that extra water

is going to flow right into our river!

-Whoa! And flood us? -Yes!

If we don't do something before the snow melts,

Cretacia will be under water in no time!

Ack! Everybody take to the trees!

Hegan, can you teach us all how to fly right now?

But I've been trying to teach you to fly for years, Archie!

We're doomed!

No. We can hold back the water.

We just have to build a barricade along the river!

Or... What if we build a new river?

ALL: What?

If we dig a trench across the desert,

we can divert the water into the canyon.

That's one big bathtub to fill.

That sounds like a great idea!

But maybe a little too complicated.

Don't you think my idea is simpler?

Maybe.

Mazu does always have good ideas.

She is our resident genius, after all.

(sighs) That's true. Let's go with Mazu's plan!

Woohoo! Time to save Cretacia!

-(Bill slurping) -Huh?

Here's the next load of materials. How are we doing?

Well, we're almost done with this section of the barrier.

-It looks good! -I don't know, Mazu.

It's taken us forever just to build this little piece.

I don't think there's enough time to barricade the whole river.

Well, we have to try! What other choice do we have?

We could try Trey's idea, remember? Digging a trench?

It would be much quicker.

DILO: Look out!

-(all screaming) -(crashing)

(sighs) Okay, guys,

let's get busy building that back up.

Then we'll tackle the rest of the river!

I think I'm gonna try the trench, Mazu.

-Anyone want to help me dig? -I will.

Sorry, but I think it might be time to switch plans.

We can at least try it.

Hey, Giganto! I need your help saving Cretacia!

Oh, I guess you already know the problem.

Don't worry, I have a plan!

We just need to bolster the river so it won't overflow.

If you could just carefully roll this boulder down the slope

and over to the riverbank, it would make a great barrier.

Please? It's the best idea we have!

(roars)

(sighs) Even you, Giganto?

-(roars) -Huh?

Aah!

MAZU: No!

-Aw... -Uh-oh!

I can't believe it! Why does this keep happening?

Maybe this isn't the best way to protect from the flood?

But... my ideas always work.

Well, no one's perfect.

Maybe this time Trey's idea was better.

Yeah. Even Giganto knew that.

That's why he went to help Trey instead of me.

Because I'm not doing anything to help Cretacia!

You still can. We could join Trey too!

'Cause what's more important, being right or being helpful?

(water rushes)

And the trench isn't finished!

When that water gets here, it's gonna have nowhere to go!

(gibbers)

-MAZU: Oh, yes it will! -ALL: Huh?

-Aah! -Mayday!

MAZU: Excuse me! Comin' through!

Woohoo!

(all cheering)

-Woo-hoo-hoo! -Way to go, Mazu!

(roars)

Using that rake at the last minute was a great idea!

You're the one who thought of diverting the water to the canyon.

I should have listened to you in the first place.

Well, if you didn't alert us to the problem,

we'd all be swimming down the savanna right now.

Putting our heads together is what saved us.

That's always the best idea.

Well, we kept Cretacia dry from the melting snow!

And made a nice big pool in the process!

Perfect for swimming on a hot summer's day!

(Dilo laughs)
