My sister's a fighter pilot,
and so was my dad.

Well, her brother told me
where the dance studio was,

so after we docked,
I drove seven hours

to find her in New York City.

in the nick of time.

Practically had to duel
the doctor I was seeing.

I wasn't sure about that guy.

But there was something
about Sam.

So I ended my relationship,

and after a few dates, I knew.

He was the one.

We got engaged shortly after,

until after I got out
of the service.

But then I got called back
to Vietnam.

that he'd come home.
