on this one.

From the word go,

he never seems to me
like he's giving his 100%,

or he hasn't up until the last
couple of things we've done.

He's been up and down,
he's not been consistent.

I've seen bursts of 100% effort

and then the other side of it.

Me, I like him.
I think he's a good character.

He's capable.

But he's got to do a shit load
in my eyes to make the benchmark.

She's been a bit of a prickly
character for me along the way.

I haven't been able to work her out.

But she is a tough, tough woman

and it seems to me that
the positive sides of her

are now outweighing the negative.

She's fucking tough,
that's for sure.

She's capable.
She's not a frontrunner,

but she's in there with a chance.

For me, I've been saying
she's going to leave

for the past fucking five days.
She has been my tip to go.

But you know what,
she showed deep resilience.

And she's fit.
She's a fit, strong character.

Last 48 hours,
I've seen a new gear kick in.

And I think this is
the deepest she's ever gone to.

And I see it on her face,
a different level of confidence.

But nowhere near a frontrunner.

Number 6 - she's up there
with the frontrunners.

From the get-go,
determined, fit, strong,

capable, good mind, always engaging.

She's easily excitable
but I really like her.

I call her Smiley because she's
always got a smile on her face,

no matter what
we're throwing at her.

Always keen, always present.

She attacks her weaknesses.

OK. 7 is my frontrunner.

He's been present the whole time
round, he's always been strong.

Likeable character.
He's pretty good to be around.

From the word go, he's been there.

He's kind of started in a place
where we kind of clocked him,

watched him grow, and he's just
fucking getting so much confidence.

He's strong in every way.
He's strong in his courage,

because, you know,
it's tough for him to speak.

Yet he gives it his very best
every time.

Number 1 - he started off prickly.

He's got a reputation that
precedes him by a long way.

I'd say he rubbed me up
the wrong way.

I think he rubbed us all up
the wrong way,

with his barriers, his arrogance.

But he has performed
and he's dug in deep.

He's shown resilience,
he's shown grit.

Whether I can trust him,
I don't know.

That corporate
kind of facade he has -

that's what he reminds me of.
He reminds me of a CEO.

That's not the kind of people
that we have in our world.

I've still got reservations
about him.

than it looks like from the outside.

Going back to the pandemic, you
pretty much are in the limelight -

or you were -
for that period of time,

and you were vilified.

How have you dealt with that?

I feel a sense of injustice

at being made...essentially
accused of corruption,

because that is what, if you boil
it down, the accusation is,

when I've essentially

given my professional life

so far in public service.

And I know for a fact
we did the right thing

and I didn't benefit a jot from it.

And it's just this sense
of injustice that, "Hold on,

"I was doing the best
I could in difficult circumstances,

"and now I get a load of...
shit for it."

Of course it has an impact on me
professionally

that I have to deal with,
but it doesn't matter here.

What matters here is
what I think of myself

and also what the people I love

and care about think of me

and what people I respect
think of me.

Do you see this course maybe
as an opportunity for redemption?
