It's about the creation
of the world.

That's where God creates

great flood.

And it came to pass when
men began to multiply

on the face of the earth,

that God saw that the
wickedness of man

was great in the earth,
and that every imagination

of the thoughts of his heart
was only evil continually.

And it repented the Lord that
he had made man on the earth,

and it grieved him at his heart.

And the Lord said, I will
destroy man

whom I have created from
the face of the earth,

both man, and beast,
and the creeping thing,

and the fowls of the air,

for it repenteth me that I have
made them.

But Noah found grace in
the eyes of the Lord.

Noah was just man and walked
with God.

And Noah begat three sons,
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

The earth also was corrupt
before God,

and the earth was filled
with violence.

And God looked upon the earth,
and, behold, it was corrupt,

for all flesh had corrupted
his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah,

the end of all flesh is come
before me

for the earth is filled
with violence through them,

and, behold, I will destroy
them with the earth.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood,

rooms shalt thou make
in the ark,

and shalt pitch it within
and without with pitch.

And this is the fashion which
thou shalt make it of it.

The length of the ark shall be
300 cubits,

the breadth of it 50 cubits,

and the height of it 30 cubits.

A window shalt thou make
to the ark,

and in a cubit shalt thou finish

and the door of the ark shalt
thou set in the side thereof,

with lower, second, and third
stories shalt thou make it.

do bring a flood of waters

because he was of the
house and lineage of David,

to be taxed with Mary his
espoused wife

that she should be delivered.

firstborn son

and wrapped him in
swaddling clothes

and laid him in a manger,

because there was no
room for them in the inn.

shepherds abiding in the field,

from the east to Jerusalem,

saying, where is he that
is born King of the Jews?

For we have seen his star
in the east,

and are come to worship him.

When Herod the king
had heard these things,

he was troubled, and
all Jerusalem with him.

And when he had gathered
all the chief priests

and scribes of the
people together,

he demanded of them where
Christ should be born.

And they said unto him,
in Bethlehem of Judaea,

for thus it is written
by the prophet,

and thou Bethlehem, in the land
of Judah,

art not the least among

come a Governor

have been in the company,

went a day's journey,

and they sought him among their
kinsfolk and acquaintance.

And when they found him not,

they found him in the temple,

sitting in the midst
of the doctors,

both hearing them and
asking them questions.

And all that heard him
were astonished

at his understanding
and answers.

And when they saw him,
they were amazed,

son, why hast thou thus dealt

have sought thee sorrowing.

And he said unto them, how
is it that ye sought me?

Wist ye not that I must be
about my Father's business?

And they understood not the
saying which he spake unto them.

and was subject unto them,

these sayings in her heart.

And Jesus increased in wisdom

and in favor with God and man.

This is the story of
Jesus being baptized by John.

There was a man sent from
God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness
to bear witness of the light,

that all men through
him might believe.

He was not that light,

but was sent to bear
witness of that light.

That was the true light,

which lighteth every man
that cometh into the world.

He was in the world and
the world was made by him

and the world knew him not.

But as many as received him,

to them gave he power to
become the sons of God,

even to them that believe
on his name,

which were born, not of blood

nor of the will of the flesh

nor of the will of man,
but of God.

And the word was made
flesh and dwelt among us,

and we beheld his glory,

the glory as the only
begotten of the Father,

full of grace and truth.

In the 15th year of the
reign of Tiberius Caesar,

Pontius Pilate being
governor of Judaea,

and Herod being
tetrarch of Galilee,

Annas and Caiaphas being the

unto him, they have no wine.

Jesus saith unto her, woman,
what have I to do with thee?

Mine hour is not yet come.

His mother saith unto
the servants,

whatever he saith unto you,
do it.

And there were set there
six water pots of stone

after the manner of the
purifying of the Jews,

containing two or three
firkins apiece.

Jesus saith unto them, fill
the water pots with water.

And they filled them
up to the brim.

And he saith unto them,
draw out now

and bear unto the governor of
the feast,

and they will bare it.

When the ruler of the
feast had tasted the water

that was made wine, he
knew not whence it was,

but the servants which
drew the water knew.

The governor of the feast
called the bridegroom,

and saith unto him, every
man at the beginning

doth set forth good wine,
and when men have well drunk,

then that which is worse.

But thou hast kept the
good wine until now.

This beginning of miracles
did Jesus in Cana of Galilee,

and manifested forth his glory

believed on him.

After this he went
down to Capernaum,

brethren, and his disciples,

and they continued there not
many days.

And the Jews' passover
was at hand,

and Jesus went up to Jerusalem

and found in the temple
those that sold oxen

changers of money sitting.

And when he had made a
scourge of small cords,

he drove them all out of
the temple, and the sheep,

and the oxen, and poured
out the changers' money

and overthrew the tables.

He said unto them
that sold doves,

take these things hence.

Make not my Father's house
an house of merchandise.

And his disciples remembered
that it was written,

the zeal of thine house hath
eaten me up.

Then answered the Jews and said
unto them,

what sign showest thou unto us,

seeing that thou doest
these things?

Jesus answered and said
unto them,

destroy this temple, and in
three days I will raise it up.

Then said the Jews,
40 and 60 years

was this temple in building,

and wilt thou rear it up in
three days?

But he spake of the temple of
his body.

When therefore he was risen from
the dead,

his disciples remembered that
he had said this unto them,

and they believed the scripture

and the word which
Jesus had said.

And he must need
go through Samaria.

Then cometh he to a city of
Samaria which is called Sychar,

near to the parcel of ground

that Jacob gave to
his son Joseph.

Now Jacob's well was there.

Jesus therefore being
wearied with his journey,

sat thus on the well, and
it was about the sixth hour.

There cometh a woman of
Samaria to draw water.

Jesus saith unto her,
give me a drink.

For his disciples were gone
away unto the city to buy meat.

Then saith the woman of Samaria
unto him,

how is it that thou, being
a Jew, askest drink of me,

which am a woman of Samaria?

For the Jews have no
dealings with the Samaritans.

Jesus answered and said
unto her,

if thou knewest the gift of God

and who it is that saith
to thee, give me to drink,

thou wouldest have asked of him

and he would have given thee
living water.

The woman saith unto him,

sir, thou hast nothing to draw
with, and the well is deep.

From whence then hast
thou that living water?

Art thou greater than our
father Jacob,

which gave us the well,
and drank thereof himself

and his children,
and his cattle?

Jesus answered and
said unto her,

whosoever drinketh of this
water shall thirst again.

But whoever drinketh
of the water

that I shall give him shall

The woman saith unto him,

that I thirst not, neither
come hither to draw.

Jesus saith unto her, go, call
thy husband, and come hither.

The woman answered and
said, I have no husband.

Jesus said unto her, thou hast
well said, I have no husband,

for thou hast had five husbands,

and whom thou now hast is not
thy husband.

In that saidst thou truly.

The woman saith unto him,

sir, I perceive that thou
art a prophet.

Our fathers worshiped
in this mountain,

and ye say, that in Jerusalem is
the place

where men ought to worship.

Jesus saith unto her, woman,
believe me,

the hour cometh when ye shall
neither in this mountain

nor yet at Jerusalem,
worship the Father.

We know what we worship, for
salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour cometh, and now is,

The woman then left
her water pot

and went her way into the

Israel in the time of Eliseus

the prophet, and none

Then Simon Peter answered him,
Lord, to whom shall we go?

eternal life.

Jesus answered them,
have not I chosen you 12,

Iscariot the son of Simon,

I'm gonna tell you the story
of the transfiguration.

Oh ho ho, awesome!

Let me see, oh yeah.

This is how it goes.

And after six days Jesus
taketh with him Peter,

and James, and John,
and leadeth them up

into an high mountain
apart from themselves.

And was transfigured
before them,

and his raiment became shining,
exceeding white as snow

so as no fuller on earth can
white them.

And there appeared unto
them Elias with Moses,

and they were
talking with Jesus.

And Peter answered
and said to Jesus,

Master, it is good for us
to be here,

and let us make
three tabernacles.

One for thee, and one for
Moses, and one for Elias.

For he wist not what to say,
for they were sore afraid.

And there was a cloud
that overshadowed them,

and a voice came out of the
cloud, saying,

this is my beloved Son,
hear him.

And suddenly, when they
had looked round about,

they saw no man any more, save
Jesus only with themselves.

And as they came down
from the mountain,

he charged them that
they should tell no man

what things they had
seen, till the Son of man

were risen from the dead.

And they kept that saying
with themselves,

questioning one with another

what the rising from the dead
should mean.

And when he came
to his disciples,

he saw a great multitude
about them,

and the scribes
questioning with them.

And straightway all the
people, when they beheld him,

were greatly amazed, and
running to him saluted him.

And he asked the scribes,
what question ye with them?

And one of the multitude
answered and said,

Master, I have brought unto thee
my son,

which hath a dumb spirit.

And wheresoever he taketh
him, he teareth him,

and he foameth, and
gnasheth with his teeth,

and pineth away, and I
spake to thy disciples

that they should cast him
out, and they could not.

He answered him and saith,
oh faithless generation,

how long shall I be with you?

How long shall I suffer you?

Bring him unto me.

And they brought him unto
him, and when he saw him,

straightway the spirit tare him,

and he fell on the ground
and wallowed foaming.

And he asked his father,

how long is it ago since
this came unto him?

And he said, of a child.

And ofttimes it hath
cast him into the fire,

and into the waters,
to destroy him,

but if thou canst do any thing,

have compassion on us,
and help us.

Jesus said unto him, if thou
canst believe

all things are possible
to him that believeth.

And straightway the father
of the child cried out,

and said with tears,
Lord, I believe,

help thou mine unbelief.

When Jesus saw that the
people came running together,

he rebuked the foul
spirit, saying unto him,

thou dumb and deaf spirit, I
charge thee,

come out of him, and
enter no more into him.

And the spirit cried, and rent
him sore,

and came out of him,
and he was as one dead

insomuch that many said,
he is dead.

But Jesus took him by the
hand and lifted him up,

and he arose.

And when he was come
into the house,

his disciples asked
him privately,

why could not we cast him out?

And he said unto them, this
kind can come forth by nothing

but by prayer and fasting.

And they departed thence,
and passed through Galilee

and he would not that
any man should know it.

For he taught his disciples
and said unto them,

the Son of man is delivered
into the hands of men,

and they shall kill him.

And after that he is killed,
he shall rise the third day.

But they understood
not that saying,

and were afraid to ask him.

And what
happens after that, Sarah?

It's about Christ teaching
humility and forgiveness.

At the same time came the
disciples unto Jesus, saying,

who is the greatest in
the kingdom of heaven?

And Jesus called a little child
unto him

and set him in the
midst of them,

and said, verily I say unto you,

except ye be converted and
become as little children,

ye shall not enter into
the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore
shall humble himself

as this little child, the same
is greatest

in the kingdom of heaven.

And whoso shall receive
one such little child

in my name receiveth me.

But whoso shall offend
one of these little ones

which believe in me,
it were better for him

that a millstone were
hanged about his neck,

and that he were drowned
in the depth of the sea.

Take heed that ye despise
not one of these little ones,

for I say unto you that
in heaven their angels

do always behold the face of
my Father which is in heaven.

For the Son of man is come
to save that which was lost.

How think ye?

If a man have an hundred sheep

and one of them be gone astray,

doth he not leave the
ninety and nine,

and goeth into the mountains,

and seeketh that
which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find
it, verily I say unto you,

he rejoiceth more of that sheep,

than of the ninety and
nine which went not astray.

Even so it is not the will of
your Father

which is in heaven

that one of these little
ones should perish.

Moreover if thy brother
shall trespass against thee,

go and tell him his fault
between thee and him alone.

If he shall hear thee, thou
hast gained thy brother.

But if he will not hear
thee, then take with thee

one or two more, that in the
mouth of two or three witnesses

every word may be established.

And if he shall
neglect to hear them,

tell it unto the church,

but if he neglect to
hear the church,

let him be unto thee as an
heathen man and a publican.

Verily I say unto you, whatsoever
ye shall bind on earth

shall be bound in heaven,

and whatsoever ye shall
loose on earth

shall be loosed in heaven.

Again I say unto you that if
two of you shall agree on earth

as touching any thing that they
shall ask,

it shall be done for them of
my Father which is in heaven.

For where two or three are
gathered together in my name,

there am I in the midst of them.

Then came Peter to him,
and said,

Lord, how oft shall my
brother sin against me

and I forgive him?

Till seven times?

Jesus saith unto him, I say
not unto thee till seven times,

but until 70 times seven.

Therefore is the kingdom of
heaven likened

unto a certain king,

which would take account
of his servants.

And when he had begun to reckon,

one was brought unto him
which owed him 10,000 talents.

But forasmuch as he had
not to pay,

his lord commanded him
to be sold,

and his wife, and children,
and all that he had,

and payment to be made.

The servant therefore fell
down and worshiped him,

saying, Lord, have patience
with me,

and I will pay thee all.

Then the lord of that servant
was moved with compassion,

and loosed him,
and forgave him the debt.

But the same servant went out

and found one of his
fellow servants

which owed him an hundred pence

and he laid hands on him,
and took him by the throat,

saying, pay me that thou owest.

And his fellow servant
fell down at his feet

and besought him, saying,

have patience with me,
and I will pay thee all.

And he would not, but went
and cast him into prison

till he should pay the debt.

So when his fellow
servants saw what was done,

they were very sorry, and
came and told unto their lord

all that was done.

Then his lord, after that he
had called him, said unto him,

oh thou wicked servant, I
forgave thee all that debt

because thou desiredst me.

Shouldest not thou also
have had compassion

on thy fellow servant,
even as I had pity on thee?

And his lord was wroth, and
delivered him to the tormentors

till he should pay all
that was due unto him.

So likewise shall my heavenly
Father do also unto you,

if ye from your hearts
forgive not

every one his brother
their trespasses.

And he turned him unto his
disciples and said privately,

blessed are the eyes which
see the things that ye see,

for I tell you that
many prophets and kings

have desired to see
those things which ye see

and have not seen them,

and to hear those things
which ye hear

and have not heard them.
