This time,

I'd like to focus on the human head by explaining how to draw a face in Section 3.

The face is from the forehead to the chin,

and the head is the whole thing, including the face.

Now, let's take a look at the human head, which is the subject of this lecture.

When drawing a picture, the face is particularly important.

A drawn face conveys a lot of things to the viewer.

The head's direction and facial expression play an important role in conveying the idea of the artist.

And the part that best expresses our emotions is the eyes.

And the eyebrows are also very important when expressing emotions.

Eyebrows emphasize the mood expressed by the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Surprises, pain, fear, and fun immediately appear on the eyebrows.

In the case of facial expressions, the shape of the eyebrows greatly affects the impression of the face.

And after the eyes, the expression is rich in the mouth.

The shape of the mouth is greatly influenced by emotions.

When the tip of the lips is facing up, it expresses positive emotions such as fun or happy,

and when it is facing down, it expresses negative emotions such as depression or suffering.

The lips can express determination, desire, dissatisfaction, and hatred.

And not only the shape of the mouth, but it also appears in the color.

For example, let's draw a red lipstick here.

By doing this, you can give the impression of femininity.

Also, a large mouth expresses a sense of magnanimity and elegance,

and a small, thin mouth can give the impression of weakness and anger.

Next, let's look at the nose.

The nose is also useful when drawing the characteristics of the person.

When drawing a man, draw a square-shaped nose,

and if you are a woman, draw a curved nose.

There are many ways to draw the nose.

For example, you can draw only the point of the nose,

or you can draw a long triangle-shaped nose.

When you want to emphasize cuteness or draw a child,

you often draw a small nose like this point.

Next, let's look at the ears.

The ears also have different impressions depending on how they are deformed.

If the ears are simply deformed, they look like children's ears,

and it can give a comical impression.

On the other hand, if the ears are deformed,

it can give an adult-like impression or a realistic impression.

The personality and impression of the person change in each part,

so remember the impression you want to give from each part

and design according to the person you want to express.

Now, let's look at the actual human head structure.

On the head, there is something called a skull.

The pen I'm using this time is a pencil

I changed my mind a little and drew with a pencil this time.
