Things we have almost
no hope of recovering, ever.

A young couple, an ordinary everyday sight,

and yet in their banality,

these images are ever
more rare, more precious.

They proclaim the
freshness of simple things,

the poetry of youth, the
beauty of the first kiss.

They proclaim the hope that the neurosis,

the sexual delirium is all but a moment,

a short obligatory stage in the arc

of the evolution of modern man.
