I am the voice of yesterday.

The voice of a period
in American life,

that is hallowed
with memories.

Memory such as no other

are those of the days

bright star in our flag.

Those were my turbulent,
hell-roaring days,

when was a sizzling,
seething,

melting pot of humanity.

Rustlers, dance hall girls,
cowboys and gamblers,

rubbing elbows
with honest townspeople,

ranchers and businessmen.

I was overrun with bad
men of all kinds.

Bad men, who were strangling
me with their passions.

But was too tough to die.

And also for my existence,

I am indebted to a man.

A man of action not words.

A man who
lived dangerously,

but yet fearlessly.

He believed
in upholding the law...

and by his deeds
became a living symbol,

of respect for the law.

I pay this tribute,

to the memory of Wyatt Earp.

A man among men.

The bad men of Arizona,
came in search of many things.

More particularly
for lawless, riotous living,

and the rich harvest
of easy money.

You see, these outlaws,

followed close upon those
hard working prospectors,

who had searched a lifetime...

and finally found
the treasures,

hidden in my beautiful hills.

Now wait a minute,

are plumb full of silver.

of Indians, too.
