Now. Something I like to
do during the process of making selects,

especially if I'm working with flat
picture profile footage or footage

that was shot in log
that doesn't have much

color is I'll throw a lot over
top of the entire timeline.

That way it gives everything
a bit more pop and color

and makes the process of making selects
a little bit more fun.

Now the way that we can do that
is to just go over here to the color tab,

and over here
we can select the lets window.

So we open up

this guy right here and in here DaVinci
comes with a bunch of different lots.

You can just select one of them.

I'm going to select one of mine here,

but first we got to head over
to this section right here.

We're going to select timeline,
and this basically allows us to apply

LUTS and any kind of color changes
to our entire timeline.

So we're going to hit option
as to create a new note

and we're just going to drag a lot over
top of that note.

And if the light is too intense,
you can go into the key section right here

and just bring the gain down
to however much you want.

Now, it's not important that you actually
understand what's going on here.

We're going to deep dive into the color
tab later on in this course,

but this is just a quick way that you can
add a lot over top of your timeline

just to make the select process
a bit more fun.

Now, if I go back into the cut tab, we can
see that everything has a bit more color

to it.
