I now love the color grade.

Before a color
grading was always something

that I struggled with in the past.

If we take a look
at some of my earlier work,

there are definitely some
questionable grades at certain moments.

And the thing is,

I wasn't necessarily content
with those color choices at the time.

I just didn't have the patience to try
to make all the changes I actually wanted

to make in a layer based software
like Premiere or Final Cut.

Now that I understand how to grade
in a note based workflow,

I feel so much more confident

and capable to make my color grading ideas
come to life.

And here's the thing.

People talk about node based color
grading as being complicated or hard,

and I can understand why

because I had that same idea
when I was first starting out.

But the reality is that
although it might take you a bit longer

to understand the workflow,

once you do understand it,
you can work way faster and do way more.

In this module, we'll be learning about

all of the things that make the color
to have the best place to go to color.
