to Catalina tonight.

Terrible things can happen -- widespread destruction.

early, but now Liams stuck in Long Beach, and hes waiting for

the clearance for the helicopter, and Im just praying

that he can get here in time.

>> Hope: Actually, can I just let him know that I got the

clinic safely?

[ Breathes heavily ] >> Reese: Another contraction?

>> Hope: No, no, its fine.

and I were taking birthing classes together, and hes --

hes really excited to be here with me during the delivery.

>> Reese: Im sorry its not working out as planned.

>> Hope: Um...so...

where are the other doctors and nurses?

>> Reese: Well, as Ive said, we are a small clinic with an even

smaller staff.

>> Hope: So, youre the only doctor?

>> Reese: The only one here right now, yeah.

>> Hope: What? [ Chuckles ] >> Reese: My nurse lives on the

other side of the island, but the main road that connects here

and there isnt passable due to the trees fallen from the wind.

>> Hope: She cant be the only staff.

>> Reese: Hope, Hope, I know this isnt ideal, but I dont

want you to worry.

Im a highly accredited OB/GYN, and Im on staff at

University Hospital in L.A.

>> Hope: Okay.

Um, I was just gonna let my husband know whats happening.

Im gonna go check on my other patient.

helicopter could come meet me here and take me to Catalina?

The backup power generator should kick in any second.

essential medical equipment.

The rest of the lights will come on once the powers restored.

>> Reese: Well, uh, let me go take a look, and Ill see what I

can find out.

backup generator, at least.
