A sin that is so
deceptively righteous,

yet still so savagely divine.

While I might lose my temper
every now and again,

when it comes to wrath, the
breath of my own sin

has much to be improved.

See, wrath is a sin that
isn't just about quantity,

it's about quality.

Take the wicked Phalaris, a
Sicilian tyrant so brutal

and so barbaric,
his greatest pleasure

was locking his prisoners
in a giant brass bowl,

lighting the bottom on fire and
roasting his enemies through.

While giant roasting bowls are
good, for Vlad the Impaler,

slaughtering 100,000 men, women
and children then dining

surrounded by their
disembodied heads.

Well, that's even better.
But, who among us

hasn't ever felt our
temperatures start to rise.

Our blood begins to boil,
our fists clenching

ready to strike out at the
slightest hint of provocation.

We have all heard,
that hell have hath no fury

like a woman scorned.
But for one woman,

scorn is in the eye
of the beholder.

Women are very
emotional creatures.

Men are very physical.
They think with I mean,

we all know what
men think with.

Men cheat because there's a
woman ready to flirt with you.

I expect a man to cheat.

If there was a way
I can guarantee

that he would not cheat,

As a woman, that woman should
have respect for that wife.

But women are competitive
and they always want

what somebody else has.

Me and a few friends started
The East Bay Rats in 1994.

We have been throwing
fight parties at our clubhouse

for the last 15 years.

Usually we have a
couple hundred people show up

to watch people
fight each other.

Punching their friend in
the face is a fantastic idea.

The chance to get
out your aggressions.

There is this rage.
There is this violence

and we have to get it out
one way or another.

I kind of have got so good at it
I help other people do it.

The 1st fight party,
we all fought each other.

I really thought it was going
to be a one time thing

just for the hell of it.

At this point, every single
member of The East Bay Rats has fought.

I definitely have a temper
and I get into a lot of fights

just by pissing
the wrong person off.

This guy hangs out
the side of a taxi

and just open hand
slapped me in the face.

And I punched the window
and it went right through.

And just beat the ever
living shit out of him.

My hand was so tore up,
I ran home and poured

a bunch of super glue
on it and it healed.

While you're in the ring,
that adrenaline builds up.

There's 100 people surrounding
the ring wanting blood.

It's like back in
the gladiator days.

You have people around
the ring and they're all

sitting there like, kill them.
It's kind of like that.

[Crowd cheering]

We are in Oakland
because we can do things here

that we could never do in any
other city in America.

We like to burn stuff, we
like to blow stuff up. We like to fight.

I don't know what draws us
to this. It's a lot of fun.

[Laughs]

I wasn't surprised that
bikers want to fight each other,

that's normal.

But when every other guy

wanted to get in there and girl
and the next thing you know,

everybody is asking when
the next one is going to be.

After our scheduled fights,

people have the opportunity
to jump up in there.

Most people don't come down
here expecting to fight,

but then once they get down
here, everything changes.

Coming out there
to go fight, you know.

It's not something you get to do
every day, unless you have to.

When I was younger,
I got into a lot of fights.

But, not these days,
I'm just laid-back being a dad.

I came here to watch fights,
but I ended up getting into one.

This is the 1st time I
punched somebody in years.

Not a lot of stuff
gets me upset.

People just with bad attitudes.
People who aren't respectful.

Just dealing with customers.

A lot of built-up stress

and aggression, you know, and
you just let it out like that.

I don't want to say that it
feels good but it actually does.

All right, I'm looking for
another fighter after this.

I'm 23 years old.
I am a bicycle mechanic.

I am 32 and I am a bartender.

My friends are around
I got family here.

I'll probably get
my ass knocked out,

but I'm going to have
a good time either away.

We'll see some blood.

People get in there that are way
outclassed and way outskilled

and they just win it by heart
and I love seeing that.

I love when

I love watching people hit each

I could do it all day long.

A lot of times women fights
are way better than the guys.

lot more emotion or

lack of control

When I 1st came in,
I was actually kind of scared.

Lots of big bikers
and large lesbians

who were kind of
looking at me funny.

This really isn't the crowd
that I hang out with.

I mean, I am a
line cook at a vegan diner.

I make tofu scrambles,
vegan waffles and I help out

glazing the donuts.

I don't consider myself
an angry person. But we have

a display case with little
labels for all the donuts.

And some people just
don't play by the rules.

They kind of direct me.

down there close to you.

Clearly, you should
just use the little label.

I never hit someone
in the face before

but I might want to
knock someone out.

It's hard to describe.
Crawling in your skin

and not knowing
what to do with yourself.

It's just waiting for someone
to piss me off enough

to get into their face.

I had no idea that I was
capable of getting into a ring

and punching someone. So this
enabled me to open that door.

It does feel good
getting all that anger out.

There is nothing close
to how you feel.

It's exhilarating, it's fun
and it's kind of a letdown

once the ride is over.

I just wanted more of a fight
I feel like I can go in

for another one right now.

There really is not any other
kind of outlet that is

comparable.

There's a fire in all of us.

You have to figure out
a way to get it out.

Probably the best way is
getting in that ring out there.

Just going for it.

This barrage of emotions
and sensations are going on.

It allows you to
get your aggressions out.

It allows you to be a man.

It reminds me that you human.

I like to get
punched in the face.

I don't know what it is or why.

It's just
a physical sensation.

It's the same kind of
physical pain as like

running really hard
or falling down.

The only person that
has ever criticized it

that I know of is my mom.
She hates it because she

is a worrying mother.

Other than that, people
find it very exciting.

It's better than beating your
wife or yelling at you kids

or shooting people.

You know, if that fire
gets out of control,

it's all a possibility.

I don't know if America would
be a better place if there were

more fight clubs and having
the opportunity to get it out.

It would definitely be a more
honest place and a more real place.

Who can deny that a little
destruction doesn't make us all

feel so good. But the effect of
our sin is only as impressive

as the instrument
upon which it is delivered.

Out of 100 people who pull
the trigger for the 1st time

to defend their life,
93 percent of them will

miss their 1st shot fired.

Multiple impact bullet
is a new bullet technology

designed on the principle
of a scatter shot.

So you have multiple projectiles
to hit your intended target.

The bullet leaves
the gun spinning.

It spreads itself out like
a three point propeller

as it goes down range.
So it truly changes your

odds of hitting what
you're shooting at.

When those individual
fragments hit tissue,

they will actually
go into the flesh

and dump as much energy as
fast as possible internally

to hit all the vital organs.

Devastating is putting is
slightly when you see these

come out of a fully
automatic machine gun.

You truly have the
ultimate in stopping power.

We have to meltdown metal
and get it into the shape

we need it to be. So, that's
your die casting process.

We make a very expensive
mold that can turn out

either 12 or 8 or 24
parts at a time.

Those parts then need to be
polished and ready to go

so they are all
uniform pattern inside.

From there they go to a
different facility,

to a technician's hand.

We literally
have house moms that come in,

when kids are off at
school or daycare.

It's not as hard as I thought
it would be to make a bullet.

They add the tether and the
anchor system and measure out

the specific length
of that diameter.

Then they ultimately get dried
with all the parts in place.

Get assembled with the
center slug down the middle.

And then outer wrapped so they
become a solid projectile.

When we're on a role, we can
make about 50 bullets an hour.

It's pretty fun, though.

Then they will go to a
high speed manufacturing

where the brass, primer
and powder get added.

And then ultimately, in someone's
gun barrel ready to be fired.

I carry the 45 ammunition in
my handgun I also have my

home defense shotgun
loaded with multiple impact.

I love the multiple impact
bullet. It kind of gives more

of an edge to the person
utilizing the ammunition.

One of things I wanted to do

whenever I obtained some of the
12 gauge multiple impact was

to study the wound channel.
That's why I utilized it

in some of my coyote control by
taking quite a few coyotes with

the multiple impact bullet
and skin out the coyote.

It's a crescent type of wound
channel.

Where it goes in and you
know it will actually

crescent high, outward,
into the right of the impact.

Very effective.

That's going to actually go
and hit the body.

It's going to travel about 3 or
4 inches into the cavity wound

and that actual round is
going to scallop up inside.

So, if they tried to
remove it and pull it out,

they are going to be able
to create even more trauma

to their wound area there.

It's a very nasty round.
I do feel that that was hit you,

that's it.

Every day, myself
or my staff are selling

concealed carry handguns
to brand-new people.

And what I tell them is,
this has become a really

mean and evil world and
we have to prepare ourselves.

Just seeing what I would
normally do with a typical

bullet and what I did
with this bullet was amazing.

I'm a single mom,
so it will be good for me

to have that just in case

Looking at how I destroyed
that target really made me kind of happy.

If I have to fire a round,
I want to make sure that I am

delivering the most lethal
package that I possibly can.

And I'm doing that
with multiple impact.

With that, you can't miss.

What made me develop the idea
was the fact that we had

a home invasion attempt.
My neighbor called and said,

Todd, two guys just
jumped the back fence

they're heading
towards your back door.

I grabbed my pistol and
basically came face-to-face

with the guys about
to come in the back door.

I was not afraid
to pull the trigger

and I would've if they hadn't
turned tail and ran.

But I have no idea if
I would've hit or not.

A day and a half after
we sent out the press release,

our website crashed
from the purchases.

There's some actually
high-ranking police officers,

even a mayor of a city, that
currently in their

concealed carry weapons
use our rounds

as the 1st 2 rounds fired.

In Glendale Colorado we
encourage people to be armed.

An armed citizenry
is a peaceful citizenry.

People are always
worried about the bad guy

getting ahold of the weapon.

Well the bad guy's going to
get ahold of a weapon.

I am worried about the
good guy protecting himself

and stopping the bad guy.

One of the biggest problems
that you will ever face is say,

you are ever in a room with
100 people and one person

has the gun. That is
a dangerous situation.

You would much rather be
in a room with 100 people

and 20 of them have guns.

Most people miss with a handgun
and that's the problem.

This does not miss.

So you don't really
have to aim it, per se.

You just point it.

Wrath, a sin so nakedly
destructive, yet still so

impossibly hard to avoid.

Then again, who among us doesn't
need to let off a little steam.
