MBC Music Festival.

Part Two was kicked off with an elaborate performance.

- Hong Chul. - Yes?

Do you know the song that we opened Part Two with?

Yes, of course, but let me start by commenting on your amazing outfits.

- Thank you. - You look great as well.

- I think mine makes me look old. - That's absurd.

The opening song is one that I really like.

- Which one is it? - It's the song by...

the legendary K-pop idol.

"Warrior's Descendant" by H.O.T.

- That's right. - Who do you think you are?

- You were on point. - Right.

H.O.T. is the group that first coined...

- the term known as Korean Wave. - That's right.

Reenacting the song by H.O.T. who was a syndrome in Korea...

were THE BOYZ and Stray Kids.

Thanks to them, we were able to begin Part Two...

of MBC Music Festival with a bang.

That's probably why things are already heated up here.

We urge you to look forward to Part Two as well.

On Part Two of MBC Music Festival,

we will hear from the artists that were a syndrome in 2018.

I can't wait to hear from...

legendary artists that were a syndrome this year,

but you can also look forward to collaborations...

that have been put together just for this event.

- That's right. - Yes.

That's not all though.

The performances all viewers can't wait to see!

The artists that made the hearts of fans flutter...

will all take the stage during Part Two.

These girls went through a transformation for today's event.

The second syndrome of MBC Music Festival.

Here are the artists for "Girl spirit".

- Let's go! - Let's go.

("Not That Type" by gugudan)

("Save Me, Save You" by WJSN)

("Lost N Found" by Lovelyz)

("Goodbye" and "Ring Ring" by Hong Jin Young)

All right!

Happy New Year!

That was a performance only possible on MBC Music Festival.

The tune made my shoulders automatically bounce,

and I couldn't keep them still.

Even I...

couldn't stay still during that performance.

The energetic Hong Jin Young...

and our co-host Hong Chul put on a show...

that was exciting to the extreme!

The two of them brought double the energy,

double the fun, and double the coolness. Right?

- That's right. - However,

you shouldn't be too excited...

just after that single performance though.

MBC Music Festival...

has also prepared another special collaboration performance.

At the cultural event in Pyongyang this year,

Baek Z Young brought us all an emotional performance.

With Chen of EXO,

she prepared a special performance...

that can only be witnessed on this show.

I can't wait to hear from them,

but we'll be invited to a secret garden first.

Along with OH MY GIRL, GFRIEND will colorfully paint...

our last night of 2018.

Apink will also win over our hearts...

with their irresistible charms.

The third keyword, "Fantasia", awaits us.

- Here they are right now. - Right now.

("Secret Garden" by OH MY GIRL)

("Time for the Moon Night" by GFRIEND)

(Sowon)

("I'm So Sick" by Apink)

("Like Being Shot by a Gun" by Baek Z Young and Chen of EXO)

(MBC Music Festival)

We couldn't help but give them a standing ovation.

- Z Young is the best. - That was Z Young and Chen.

It's one of my favorite songs and it was just so emotional.

- My gosh. - Also, Z Young's...

performance in Pyongyang was received well by the audience there.

- A news article stated... - Yes.

that this was the song most loved by...

the college students in Pyongyang. Isn't that amazing?

It goes to show that masterpieces transcend time and space...

and is loved by everyone regardless of where they are.

My heart melted as I heard the song.

Minho, you should be careful though...

because the next performances will be...

nothing but passionate. The weather's quite cold,

but this next performance...

will be hot enough to melt the cold wave,

- Really? - Who will perform then?

- Right. - Yes, it's...

The fourth keyword is "Burn It Up Stage".

- "Burn It Up Stage". - This group will bring us...

a captivating performance with its group dancing.

SEVENTEEN will take the stage first.

Yoon A, weren't you also at this very event last year?

- Yes, I did. - Do you remember the performance...

- of "Shangri-La" by VIXX? - Of course.

- You saw it in person. - It was truly amazing.

That same VIXX will transform into mysterious vampires today.

- I can't wait to see it. - Lastly,

the intoxicating GOT7 will also perform...

and all these artists will burn up the stage.

First up though is the bold SEVENTEEN.

Let's go!

("Just Do It" and "Oh My!" by SEVENTEEN)

Make some noise!

- Happy New Year! - New Year!

Bye!

("Scentist" by VIXX)

("Intro" and "Look" by GOT7)

[VIU Ver] MBC E02 '2018 MBC Music Festivals' -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

(I love you.)

- What performances. - I know.

It's nice how this is fun and time flies,

but now that it's 11:27pm,

we only have a little more than 30 minutes left of this year.

How do you feel, Minho?

Time really flies.

It's such a bummer to let go of 2018 like this.

With this mood now, there will be no regrets.

A very special singer is getting ready for the next stage.

It's the singer I've been waiting the most.

- Really? - You're not the only one.

- Really? - I, too,

have been waiting for this stage desperately.

People my age like him.

Why don't you stop and introduce the next performance?

- Good. - I'll do that.

- Good. - I think they're talking about...

the king of Korean hip-hop.

The hip-hop legend, Drunken Tiger.

- Yoon A. You knew. - Yes.

Hip-hop fans like me memorized this.

- I'm excited. - Right.

Especially this album is...

more meaningful...

as it's his last album as Drunken Tiger...

marking its 20th anniversary.

Among many singers who respect Drunken Tiger,

Jooheon and I.M of MONSTA X...

prepared a special tribute stage.

Also, Tiger JK's firm supporters,

Yoon Mi Rae and Bizzy are all coming up...

to present a full performance you've never seen before.

Please look forward to it.

Then how about we throw ourselves to...

their wonderful rhythm and powerful rap?

Yes!

Let's throw ourselves.

Then let's call them together.

It's the beginning of hip-hop.

- Drunken Tiger. - Drunken Tiger.

Hello. I'm Tiger JK of Drunken Tiger.

Hello.

(The hip-hop legend everyone admits)

(No modifier can be enough for his legend.)

(Drunken Tiger)

(Legend)

He's my idol...

and I highly respect him.

I've spent my childhood with him.

He's part of my rap.

Since he was the trend,

I had to know him.

(Everyone isolated put your left foot forward)

My favorite is "True Romance".

- I love it. - "True Romance".

I like "8:45 Heaven".

And "I Want You".

(Drum)

(Rip them all)

We think this is the best song.

Let's watch.

("Monster" by Jooheon and I.M)

("Monster" by Drunken Tiger)

(The title song of Korea's hip-hop legend, Drunken Tiger's 8th album)

(This impressive song has an addictive rock chorus...)

(with Tiger JK's overwhelming rap.)

("8:45 Heaven" by Tiger JK)

Peace, peace, peace. Thank you.

Love. Hello.

Marching in to 2019. Say "marching".

Marching.

Say "marching".

Hello.

Yoon Mi Rae.

Happy New Year.

("Everyone Isolated Put Your Left Foot Forward", "Good Life")

(By Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, Bizzy)

- Say "marching". - Say "marching". Yell it.

- Marching. - Thank you all.

- Say "marching". - Say "marching". Yell it.

- Marching. - Say "marching".

- Marching. - Marching.

For your good lives.

Put an imaginary heart up.

("Mantra" by Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, Bizzy)

Everyone!

One more time. Make some noise.

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year.

That was amazing.

There are many generations here,

- but they were all united. - That's right.

Are you enjoying this?

- Yes. - Yes.

They seem to be satisfied.

This may be his last performance as Drunken Tiger,

but I have no doubt he will present great performances as Tiger JK.

- I'll look forward to it. - Yes.

This year many idol groups have been very active.

It was truly a glorious year for idol groups.

Especially these idols were greatly loved.

They're the thieves...

who stole many girls' hearts. It's Wanna One.

Boys from different labels gathered...

and debuted as a project group.

They received so much love as Wanna One. They're an amazing group.

Unfortunately, today is their last official day...

performing as Wanna One.

As much as they were loved,

I'm sure many people are sad.

Their great performance that will comfort...

and sooth your sadness is awaiting.

Please send them a big round of applause and cheer...

as each of them grow on and take their next steps as individuals.

I don't want to say it's the last, but I can't help it.

To return the favor to their amazing fans,

Wanna One prepared their last performance.

Now, let's watch that awesome performance.

("Light" and "Energetic" by Wanna One)

("Paint Me", "Wind Flower", "Starry Night", "Egotistic" by MAMAMOO)

Let's go.

Make some noise.

It was a fantastic compilation...

of MAMAMOO's hit songs.

- It was a superb performance. - Yes.

It is more enjoyable...

because there are many special performances like this, isn't it?

Yes. Right now it's about...

11:51pm.

Only nine minutes are left...

until 2018 is over.

Are you all enjoying yourselves?

- Yes! - Yes!

It will be 2019 soon.

All of our singers are on the stage with us...

to celebrate the New Year.

Many were sad for not interviewing this group.

I need to interview them before the year ends.

Wanna One, please step forward.

Please step forward.

You can stand here.

This is your last schedule for 2018.

- Please share how you feel, Daniel. - Okay.

Everyone worked so hard this year.

Thank you everyone...

including the staff and the fellow singers...

for preparing this show. I'd like to say thanks to...

all the fans who are here to support us too.

My team also worked hard this year.

I hope we can have another good year.

Thank you.

Well, why don't Seong Wu...

share your thoughts too?

I've gone through many valuable experiences as Wanna One...

over the year and a half.

Even these seconds passing by mean a lot to me.

This may be our last performance...

as Wanna One.

But I hope we can be remembered...

by you all forever.

Happy New Year! Thank you.

- Thank you. - There are many fans over there.

Please say something to your fans over there.

There are many fans.

Min Hyun, please tell us how you feel too.

Thank you all so much.

You all did a great job. I'll continue to support you all.
