in light of the incident this morning.

My name is Thomas J. Taylor, and I'm the
director of the Helena, Montana field office

for United States Homeland Security.

For the last two weeks I have been tasked
with investigating the circumstances

surrounding the satellite
that crashed in Edmonton.

Through the course of our
investigation, it has become clear

that this was no ordinary satellite,
nor was its crash an accident.

it was a piece of space hardware left
over from the Soviet space program.
