Networking is the most important chapter
in the business.

Finding people and making friends
with them helps you find more

and more people.

And at some point
your eventually get clients from there.

I only tell you what happened to me
and what helped me through my journey.

And I will tell you a story and
you can decide if that helps you or not.

But it might do
because it still works for me.

Two years ago
I messaged a videographer who I knew.

He's from the capital and he's working
with a team that works for a big brand

and they are doing
at least a video per week.

And not just that, but they are making
a lot more money that I was making.

I decided to talk to him
and tell him if he needs help.

And there and he replied back to me
and said,

he is going to be in my home
town for the weekend so we can meet there.

It was winter at that time,
so he had to film on us, keep track.

Went there, took a picture with him
and it was the first time in my life

I saw a Sony A7'S mark to be thrown in
and Gimbal, which are my go to now.

I was so happy to meet him in person
and have a chat with him,

and this in the future helped me a lot,
so I was friends with these guys

and we kept talking of that
over the years.

And after three years
of trying to do better and better,

they sent me a message and invited me
to film the biggest music festival

in Romania and also I think in the Europe
this festival is called Untold

and this is only one example
and the easiest to explain to you.

Of course, I had a lot of people
that helped me in my journey,

and I remember everything,
every single one of them.

Of course, with goods and bads.

But this is life.

You got to see your interests and do
whatever it takes to achieve your goals.

So what do you think?

Is it worth to talk to people
you don't know on the internet

and eventually
have higher ranks and skills than you?

I would say yes.

Another simple example
was with another videographer.

This time an influencer.

He invited me to film concerts
and commercials with him at the Capitol.

You just hear me
keep saying the word capital.

But as you grow your business,
you'll feel more and more

than the capital of a country
has more big brands,

businesses, jobs to do than a small city
like this that I grew.

And this guy helped me learn more

and more about videography
than I ever did.

Just seeing this guy doing the job
for for his clients help me a lot.

He's the guy that made me shoot at F 12.8

rather than should like a f for 5.68.

This is the way I was shooting before

annoying him and I didn't know
what was wrong with my footage.

I didn't know why
it doesn't look cinematic.

And when I started filming at F 2.8
and in less, sometimes less than 2.8,

it shocked me how the image looked like
it was so cinematic.

And and this is what I always tell
two people shoot at f 2.8 minimal.

You can go lower,
but only if you are a good focus puller.
