EPISODE 20

Screw you!

Screw you!

Go to hell!

Hey.

Young Master!

Go to hell!

Hold your fire.

Beat these suckers back to their cells.

Yes, sir.

What a lovely girl.

But you're possessed.

Little girl.

This is a gun.

It's not for everyone to play with.

Look at your tiny arms.

I bet you can't even hit me.

Sadly, I lost my bet.

Get back!

Young Master!

Let go of me.

Don't move!

-Where's our Young Master, Mao? -I'm here.

Young Master.

Young Master, are you all right?

-Are you? -I'm fine.

Send Ms. Xiao home.

Ms. Xiao, you...

Young Master.

Don't worry. It's all right.

Go ahead.

Be careful. Hurry.

-Buddies, let's go. -Hurry up.

Be careful.

Let's go.

Come over. Hurry!

Beat anyone who moves to death!

Are you all right?

What do you think?

-Yu Huang! -Yu Huang!

Mr. Huang.

It's been awhile.

You've improved.

I'm about to revive Trick School.

Sorry, I put a halt to your plan.

Right here today.

Is he hypnotized too?

I'll revive the Trick School, right here today.

I'll revive the Trick School, right here today.

I stopped you from firing earlier. But why are you not firing now?

How is it?

I'm fine.

Holding my breath is my special skill.

I'm not asking about that.

-How's the little girl? -Well...

She's still in the cell. But I think she's all right.

What about you?

I asked Yu Shi to send Ms. Xiao back.

I'm not asking about that. Where's Junior Immortal?

I didn't see him.

Attention!

Take them back to their cells.

Hurry up!

Be serious! Hurry!

Go! Hurry!

Everyone, be serious.

Other than the cells,

search everywhere thoroughly.

Search in all the public zones, including the dining rooms, lounges,

dressing rooms, launderette and all pipes and bricks.

If there's anyone who slips through the net...

Hold your fire. I'm with you.

We're on the same side, sir.

Take them down.

-Don't move. -Don't move.

Please don't. Wait for a moment.

Sir, I'm Lai-yong Fu, the police captain.

As for these two, one of them is a special detective.

Another one is the captain of the Wuhe Salvage Team.

The prisoners escaped.

So they wore prisoners' clothes and sneaked into them

to infiltrate from the inside.

You can check the prisoners' list.

They are definitely not in it.

Let them go.

Thank you very much.

Sir, why are you here?

To quell the riot.

Well, you're too late.

Things are already under control.

It's very safe here now.

Nothing is wrong.

We're taking over now.

All of you, please leave.

My goodness.

We've already arranged the follow-up work.

Get out right now.

Wait a minute.

How could you take over as you please?

We put our lives on the line to save this prison.

Do you want to take all the credit with a few guns?

Are you serious?

Yes! I’m taking it over with guns.

Sir.

We'll leave right now.

But here's a gentle reminder.

A criminal has escaped.

He's special and very dangerous.

You don't have to worry about the prison.

All the prisoners will be handled accordingly.

Don't delay us in carrying out our mission.

Leave!

Are you sure Junior Immortal is dead?

-Absolutely sure. -Did you see it with your own eyes?

Yes, I shot him to death.

Sure.

I'll check the body.

The body was handled by the military.

It was a mess.

So he was buried.

Buried?

Yes.

I didn't kill him back then and let him live until today.

He might be useful to me one day.

Now since he's dead,

we should at least keep his body.

I can ask someone to do a research on his brain

to find out if there's anything out of the ordinary.

-But he was buried. -Who told you to do so?

Why didn't you ask for my permission?

I'm sorry, Secretary-General.

It's my fault.

Should I dig him out?

I'll gouge his eyes out for you.

He has extraordinary eyes.

That's not necessary.

Yes, sir.

What a beautiful jasmine

Hey.

Why are you here?

I'm leaving tomorrow.

I didn't want to bother you.

But I want to thank you

for saving me in the British Consulate.

But De-you is not here right now.

It doesn't matter.

I still want to thank you.

What are you doing?

Thank you.

You're welcome.

We can't just let you die under those circumstances.

In fact, I should apologize to you.

Actually, I was the one who knocked you out.

I know you did that to save me.

I survived because of you two.

It's courteous of you.

But why are you leaving suddenly?

After that incident, the filming was suspended.

I don't know when it will resume.

So I can't just stay here.

It's nice to be an actress.

You can visit so many places and have a lot of experiences.

But I can't decide

where and when to go.

I don't know who I can meet or what I can do.

Ms. Gu.

I'm really jealous of you.

You're so free.

Also, you have a good man by your side.

-Are you jealous of me? -Yes.

There isn't a man by my side.

It's Mr. Guo.

Him?

He would just avoid me.

As an actress, I've seen a lot of men.

Most of them are randy

and flirtatious

when they first saw me.

But Mr. Guo was different.

When he looked at me,

I didn't see any of that in his eyes.

He looks at others just like that.

But only when he's looking at you,

something lights up in his eyes.

What is it?

It's hard to tell.

I...

I never experienced that.

TIENTSIN POLICE STATION

Hey.

Hey.

Your wounds are a symbol of your duty to the civilians of Tientsin.

It's a great honor.

Knock it off. You're flattering yourself, aren't you?

Open it.

What's in it?

TOP SECRET

The incident in Xiaoxiguan is classified as a riot.

The military has taken over

under the ground that the special criminal has been shot dead on the spot.

The news was kept a secret and peace will be restored.

Junior Immortal was killed.

What did you call him?

Well...

He seems to have magic so I gave him a nickname.

But is he really dead?

It's written there.

Don't you believe it?

Not really.

But I didn't see it with my own eyes.

The military doesn't need to report to you.

They can kill whoever they want.

Even if he had magic, could he dodge bullets?

Finally, it was brought to an end.

Okay.

But I haven't repaid my debt with both of you.

What?

How do you know

about the special criminal in Xiaoxiguan?

What have you been up to?

The special criminal

is the backbone of the Ancient Evil Gang.

I heard he had supernatural powers.

Twenty years ago, during the extermination against them,

he was the man who caused substantial loss to the military.

Now, the Ancient Evil Gang is back

and the military came to suppress them.

Don't you think it's similar to what happened 20 years ago?

You seem to know a lot.

What's in your head?

What are you thinking of?

Are you planning something secretly?

-No, we wouldn't dare. -No, we wouldn't dare.

Read the words on the file.

"Top secret."

Why would I show you if it's top secret?

Did you think it over?

This is a secret mission for the military.

We must prevent the news from spreading out.

If both of you cause any trouble,

the military will get even with you, not me.

The special criminal is dead. But the Ancient Evil Gang isn't.

-Hua-qing Lian is still out there. -Shut up!

Don't mention the Ancient Evil Gang.

Both of you don't qualify to meddle in this matter.

Mind your own business.

My head hurts.

Get out! Quickly!

Hey.

Don't forget what I told you.

Hey.

I used to treat you with prejudice.

I'm sorry.

Now, I think that you're a nice person.

I'm just a woman.

You, Mr. Guo

and President Ding are the good people.

Ms. Gu, I hope we can meet again.

You'll come back here, right?

I've told you.

I can't decide

where to go and when.

A woman shouldn't always stay behind a man.

Life is meaningful

only when she's clear about what she really wants.

It's too late for me.

I hope you'll get what you want.

My lady.

Are you feeling better?

Why were you in that dangerous place?

That was a personal matter.

Is it a personal matter if you inquire

about the special criminal under your dad's name?

So you knew about it.

He's a very dangerous criminal.

How did you know about him?

I don't need to tell you everything.

I just want to make sure you're safe.

Thank you.

My lady.

De-you and Mao are troublemakers.

Stay away from them.

I've told you many times.

I don't feel well.

Get back to your business.

I want to sleep.

I don't mind playing your games.

I don't care what they are.

But if you hurt Lan-lan,

you'll get it from me.

Your life and the others'

must evolve.

My plan will continue

regardless of your tiny desire.

You know what?

I'm tired of your nonsense.

Junior Immortal is dead and the holy child is nowhere to be found.

The Ancient Evil Gang is over.

From now on, I have nothing to do with it.

The Xiao family keeps you as a dog.

You really bite others.

Guns can never kill Junior Immortal.

Let it go. It's all over.

The holy child cannot be discovered.

You won't survive long with your illness.

Even if Junior Immortal is truly dead,

bring his body

to me.

Clean it properly.

There's dust on the back of the chair. Can't you see it?

Goodness.

Watching you work really bothers me.

Do it yourself then.

If I didn't hurt my arm,

I would've cleaned it myself.

From now on,

don't do something so dangerous.

Don't keep it from me too.

All right.

I'll take the soup. It should be cold by now.

Sit down.

Why?

Stay with me.

I wonder what I did wrong in my previous life.

Now, both of us are paying you and your master back.

-Mom, what are you talking about? -Shut up and get out.

I have something to tell De-you.

He's sick. I must take care of him.

Just talk to him.

I won't intervene.

Get out!

Your wounds are quite deep.

It's a big trouble, isn't it?

My goodness.

It's just a small wound. I'm fine.

Young man, I want to tell you something.

Well...

I'm a special friend of your master.

You should know that.

Of course, I do.

You grew up together with Ying, right?

Yes.

In that case,

she's like your sister, isn't she?

You're right.

It's just that she isn't my biological sister.

I know you get along well like siblings do.

But now that she's all grown up,

if you two are too close,

I think it's sort of inappropriate.

What do you mean?

Let me just cut to the chase.

Mr. Zhang from Yu Village

has been interested in my daughter for quite some time.

He's a handsome boy from a well-off family.

In terms of his personality,

everyone knows that he's a gentleman.

-De-you. -Yes?

I want to pair them up. What do you think?

Mr. Zhang from Yu Village?

Why don't you pair her with Lao-shi Zhao, the son of Mr. Wang?

Cut the crap.

If you really think of Ying as your sister,

don't get too close to her.

An elder brother is like a father. As her father, I don't agree to this.

Who are you trying to take advantage of?

Ying won't agree to this.

It's not up to her.

You always create trouble whenever you go.

We're afraid of someone like you.

Mrs. Gu.

You know very well whether I like to cause trouble or not.

I just can't help it.

Your old sweetheart, who is my master,

is nowhere to be found.

If I don't discover everything about the Ancient Evil Gang,

how can we live in Tientsin City in peace?

How could you leave your beloved daughter, who is my sister,

in Tientsin City?

But can you find out the truth?

The Ancient Evil Gang has been around for 20 years.

-Who has figured it out? -You're looking down on me.

I'm an individual with unsurpassed and exceptional abilities.

I managed to reveal Junior Immortal of the Ancient Evil Gang.

He was executed by the military.

It's just a matter of time before we eliminate them.

Junior Immortal?

Junior Immortal has been imprisoned in Xiaoxiguan for more than 20 years.

Did you see him?

No.

-Why did you say you revealed him? -I tracked him down.

-Is he dead? -Yes.

-Are you sure? -I'm sure.

How could you be sure if you didn't even see it?

-You... -Well...

This...

Ying, let's go home!

I should thank you personally.

Why did you come?

I was just passing by.

How are you feeling now?

Thank you.

Don't mention it.

You're making me blush.

How has De-you been lately?

De-you? He has a strong body.

He must be all right.

I guess he's now quarreling with Ying at home.

Their relationship is quite interesting.

They care about each other,

but they always quarrel.

So they should stay together to restrain each other.

If they break up, it'll hurt a lot of people.

Excuse me.

Secretary-General wants to have a chat with President Ding.

TIENTSIN NEWS

President Ding.

Secretary-General, please call me Mao.

Have a seat.

You're young and a promising, fine-looking gentleman.

Secretary-General Xiao, I really look up to you.

Lan-lan has always been impulsive.

I never stop worrying about her.

If you didn't save her in Xiaoxiguan,

I couldn't imagine the outcome.

You're welcome.

Ms. Xiao was truly blessed.

Thank you.

I really appreciate that you saved my daughter.

I would like to thank you.

But I don't think

you'd like ordinary things.

Besides, I can't measure her life

with money, can I?

It's my pleasure.

In official circles,

I'll help whenever you need.

From now on,

your concern is mine.

Thank you for being frank.

This is good news to our Chamber of Commerce.

But there's something I'd like to ask.

Go ahead, please.

With respect, President Ding,

do you like my daughter?

Well...

Lan-lan is my daughter.

I know my daughter very well.

I don't expect you to meet her anymore.

You're trying to reform the Chamber of Commerce

for legitimate business.

But you had old enemies

and the lives you owed from those cases.

It's pretty hard to pay them off.

Your Chamber of Commerce is like a large ship.

But I don't want my daughter

to be on this ship

and experience huge storms every day.

That's not a problem.

I'll lead my Chamber of Commerce back on track in the shortest time...

I believe in you, President Ding.

But, I'm worried about the Ancient Evil Gang.

Don't misunderstand my word.

But your dad ended up dead.

That should be your best reminder.

The Xiao family?

Well...

The military that showed up in Xiaoxiguan

was temporarily transferred from the suburbs by Secretary-General Xiao.

Temporarily transferred?

Even the military was shocked.

I don't understand the Xiao family.

Why did he intervene?

All right.

Get back to sleep.

Have a good rest, Young Master.

Okay.

You look fresh and full of energy.

Your breakfast must be great.

Why didn't you bring some to me?

Our master isn't here anymore.

I have to work on my own.

Goodness, my life is a mess.

Junior Immortal was taken away by Xiao family's military force.

-Are you sure? -Yu Shi found out about it.

He's a senior government official.

But he sent military to a local prison

to execute a special criminal

who has been imprisoned secretly for 20 years.

Think about it.

It seems so puzzling.

When I visited Mr. Hu,

he seemed uneasy

whenever I mentioned Junior Immortal.

The Sorceress was completely flustered

when she knew I got in touch with him.

The preceding generation

has directly experienced the war against the Ancient Evil Gang.

They must have known something that we don’t.

Do you know anyone

who has experienced that

and is easy to talk to?

Of course, he should be reachable.

Mao just became the president of the Chamber of Commerce.

From my understanding of him

and from a friend's perspective,

I think he's someone who's worthy of being friends with.

Of course, I know my limits because of our family.

Little River God is brilliant.

I'm a journalist.

I'll get the juiciest news firsthand if I'm with him.

In terms of my career growth,

I think it's appropriate for me to socialize with him.

I just want to be myself.

I am more than just the Secretary General's little girl.

When I offer you advice and suggestions nicely,

I only wish to hear

that you understand and agree.

I don't want to listen to your nonsense.
