(SBS Entertainment Awards, Part 2)

(Live at SBS Prism Tower, Sangam-dong)

Hello. I'm Seungri of BigBang.

(Seungri of BigBang)

In 2018, I was also on a lot of variety shows on SBS.

And I've been getting a lot of support.

Variety shows became important...

to singers like me these days.

This year, everyone who starred in any variety shows on SBS are...

nominated for the Grand Award.

I might have a very little chance, but I'm excited to know the result.

- Yes! - Seungri!

That's right. So I prepared something.

(Tonight It's SBS Entertainment Awards)

(I don't want to be BigBang tonight At least today, I'm an entertainer)

(Wow, Fantastic Baby No, no, not today)

(From my head to toe Down to the bone)

(Look at me standing on the stage I'm totally an entertainer)

Clap your hands, everybody!

Clap your hands!

Bring it out!

(Clap, clap, clap, clap)

(Clap, clap, clap, clap)

(I won many times on "Strong Heart" I'm a natural on variety shows)

(On "Family Outing", Hyo Lee tore my hair out)

(I passionately went through the plastic wrap on "Running Man")

(I'm a multi-entertainer Everyone knows that)

Seung Gi and Seungri. I'm a singer, and he's a singer.

He's on variety shows, and I do too. We're really similar to each other.

Yes.

Goodness.

I can smell variety shows in the air.

(Everything we say)

(Can't be always be funny)

(But I'll still try my best)

(Like your three-pointers)

(It doesn't matter what you do It doesn't matter how you look)

(It doesn't matter if you're successful or not)

(Whether you're old or young)

(It doesn't matter because it's fun That's the spirit of variety shows!)

(Are you ready, everybody?)

(Tonight It's SBS Entertainment Awards)

Everybody, stand up from your seats.

SBS Entertainment Awards!

Party starting!

("Bang Bang Bang" by Seungri of BigBang)

Put your hands up! Let's swing it!

Everybody sing it!

Here we go.

4, 3, 2.

Let's go!

Yu Jae Seok!

Shin Dong Yeob!

Thank you, it was Seungri.

- That was great. - I feel like I watched a musical.

I know.

- He prepared a lot. - That's right.

Seungri has opened...

SBS Entertainment Awards Part Two with a heated passion.

For today's stage, Seungri has come up with ideas,

performance, stage design, and music.

He prepared everything himself.

Goodness, he tried out everything he wanted to do.

As expected, just like his lyrics, Seungri's born to be a variety star.

- We admit it. - Yes, we do.

It would've been nice if all BigBang members were here.

But they are currently in military.

- They're actually banging guns. - My goodness.

Yes, they are really banging guns.

It's SBS Entertainment Awards Part Two.

In Part Two, the winner of the Grand Award will be revealed.

Aren't we all curious about who that will be?

On SBS Entertainment Awards web page and mobile,

an event to guess the winner of the Grand Award is on.

Please participate a lot.

Now, we will be awarding for Part two.

I envy this award more than the Grand Award.

- I see. - Don't you think, Jong Kook?

Yes, I've watched people getting this award all this time...

- Isn't it? - Yes.

We aren't involved in this.

The nominees for the next award have covered SBS variety shows with love.

- It's the Best Couple Award. - Right.

The Best Couple Award.

Let's meet the first nominee on screen.

Every Jack has his Jill.

Even a straw shoe has its pair.

And a chopstick has its pair.

This story is...

about a couple that could potentially be the best couple.

Here is a man.

(Here is a man.)

This man...

has a long neck like a giraffe.

(This man has a long neck like a giraffe.)

My goodness, Jennie!

Whenever he sees a woman,

- Irene! - Irene!

he's neck seems like it's about to fall.

This guy desperately needs his pair.

He told me that he knows you well.

Do you really know her well?

Yes, that's what he said.

Before, we had this thing...

- going on between us. - What are you talking about?

(There was a thing going on between Kwang Soo and Seolhyun?)

When we were on the show together...

- Don't you remember, Seolhyun? - No.

(Seolhyun doesn't remember.)

He's such a liar.

- You look prettier. - That's right.

She looks even more refined.

- You missed her. - Actually,

I thought about calling her.

But why didn't you?

I didn't want to cause misunderstanding.

I asked him yesterday...

Bo Mi and I had something going on between us.

He said he'd buy me a gift from Japan.

(He said he'd buy me a gift from Japan.)

- Really? - Yes.

He must have really liked her.

Whenever he's drunk, he makes a video call at me.

(Whenever he's drunk, he makes a video call at me.)

(You video call her when you are drunk?)

What are you talking about? I didn't!

- Kwang Soo! - I didn't!

- I'm sure. - Seriously!

He builds up his own imaginary relationship.

Really high.

A relationship is just a heartbeat away.

Perhaps...

do I...

like you?

Do you like me?

(Cha Jin Sang's erotic expression)

- What is that? - Hey!

- What are you two doing? - What are you two doing?

- What are you two doing? - Seriously!

Tell me three things that you love about Kwang Soo.

When he smiles, buys me a meal, and plays a game.

(When I smile, buy you a meal, and play a game?)

She likes when you smile. Smile at her.

- Kwang Soo, smile at her. - Smile.

It became bright under the oil lamp.

(It became bright under the oil lamp.)

- Did you hear that? - What?

Kwang Soo slept over at So Min's house.

(Kwang Soo slept over at So Min's house.)

- What a surprise. - What?

If I wasn't drunk, I'd probably went home.

But I was heavily drunk that I asked her if I can sleep over for night.

- This is... - I went up...

There must have been something.

That was very deliberate.

- What? - But the funny thing is...

The driver told me that...

he wouldn't wake up.

But when he arrived and I called his name,

- he woke up at once. - My goodness.

- No, I woke up on the way. - Hey, what was that?

- My goodness. - No, that's...

I fell asleep, but...

(I felt someone glaring at me in my sleep.)

I was in a deep sleep, but I felt someone glaring at me.

- So? - When I opened my eyes,

her father was...

looking through a crack in the door...

when I was sleeping.

(I don't blame him, you deserved it.)

So I said, "Oh, Father. Hi, I'm sorry."

Then he said, "Come on out, can you take a picture with me?"

(Take a picture with me.)

So he put his arms around me, and we took a picture in the living room.

Then I went home.

You have a swollen face.

Is the only thing that's left is a marriage?

(Is the only thing that's left is a marriage?)

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

Once you get to know him, there a lot to learn from him.

Kwang Soo is very mature.

Kwang Soo, how was that?

We are not completely work colleagues.

Work colleagues?

Where is his heart?

(Where is his heart?)

A new year has come.

Out of all the members,

there is one person who can share feelings with you...

- and show her warmth. - Really?

One person?

- That's Jeon So Min. - What?

(Someone can share her feelings and show her warmth?)

- Jeon So Min... - Me?

and Lee Kwang Soo...

are a great match.

I'm noble! I'm the noblewoman!

Noblewoman?

His eyes has changed.

When does Jeon So Min look pretty?

Now, yesterday, the day before yesterday.

(Now, yesterday, the day before yesterday.)

(My goodness, what did you say?)

- Before when So Min moved, - It look plausible with editing.

she had hard time putting in blinds.

So I took drill from home and went to help her.

I put in blinds for her.

- He could've just said no. - He could've just said no.

- As he was working... - He pretends to be good.

all of a sudden, he said he felt hot.

- And he wore only sleeveless shirt. - Boo!

(They boo him for such a bluff.)

Wow, that's...

- What are you talking about? - A sleeveless shirt?

His meaningful word...

Then, I should get married to you.

(Then, I should get married to you.)

- What was that? - All of a sudden?

- Was that a propose or what? - Was that a propose?

What's his sincerity?

In order to analyze his behavior,

we went to see a psychology professor.

They went to see a professor?

Whatever word it is, or even any meaningless word,

if you hear or see it often,

you become to think it's meaningful.

At work, at workplace,

or at a shooting studio,

he meets her often.

At first, he might have thought, "Who is she?"

When they ask after one another even when they have no business,

the brain becomes deluded.

You'll start to think, "I like this person."

This can easily happen.

Humans are bilateral.

It applies to their relationship too.

They meet because they like each other.

And they like each other, because they meet frequently.

In both ways, it's a kind of circulation structure.

And this action will bring...

joy and happiness to their relationship.

We want to know his sincerity.

(We want to know what's going through his mind.)

What is going on? Are you receiving another award?

I think it's the first time that a psychologist talked...

- in an award ceremony like that. - I know.

Lee Kwang Soo and Jeon So Min are...

trying to win the Best Couple Award two consecutive times now.

Before I ask them questions,

I'd like to hear other people's opinions.

- First, Dong Yeob... - We need to hear them.

Could you pick up the mic?

He's an expert in this kind of matter.

Right. He used to do a show with the green light.

What do you think about the fact he installed the blinds for her...

with a sleeveless shirt on?

When So Min came on my show in the past,

she said that Kwang Soo slept at her place.

But...

I think So Min is...

not that interested in him.

I see.

But Kwang Soo shows how he really feels about her...

from time to time pretending that he's joking.

- Oh, you think so. - You do?

He bothered to go there even though he didn't know how to install them.

- Then, let me ask... - I'm suspicious.

the sweet couple I really like.

- Okay. - In Gyo Jin and So Yi Hyun,

what do you think about her letting him sleep at her place?

I guess you've done such a thing before too, so what's your opinion?

No, I didn't mean... Don't get me wrong.

I meant not that she let him sleep at her place, but they dated.

What does that indicate?

Since I've been there and done that,

I could predict that their names may rank...

1st or 2nd in the search engines pretty soon.

- For something good. - You think so?

- By any chance... - Well...

they may be going out already.

They could be without letting anyone know.

- I think it's possible. - Yi Hyun,

have you ever called Gyo Jin over to make him do some chores...

before you get married?

He came to my place even though I didn't call him over.

- Oh, that's love. - Right.

- I see. - That's how you approach someone.

At this rate, if Kwang Soo and So Min don't go out,

- Right. - They could be criticized.

You're right.

Then let me ask him directly.

- Please go ahead. - Kwang Soo,

what did you have in mind when you went to her house...

to install the blinds for her?

You bothered to go there when you didn't even know how to do it.

I'm sorry.

Back then...

after she moved into the new house,

she said that she got blinds, but that she couldn't install them.

And because I happened to have an electric drill at home...

It's true.

So I took the drill to So Min's house...

and installed the blinds for her...

as a close colleague.

But you said that you may not be just a colleague to her yourself,

didn't you? It sounds like a hearing now.

So Min, actually, I'm very good at things like that...

because I'm strong, so you could have asked me to do it,

- but you didn't. - There were other guys too.

Why? Why did you especially pick Kwang Soo?

- Because he said he had a drill. - He has a drill?

I can install them even without an electric drill.

- He doesn't need that. - My hands are like a drill.

Sure. My hands are as good as a drill.

Why did I do that? Because he had a drill.

Because he said he had a drill when I asked him.

I thought he knew how to use it,

but it turned out that he didn't know it at all.

After Kwang Soo's visit,

hasn't your father ever said he missed him?

It's getting too weird.

- All right. - Shall we stop?

This is too much.

We didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable,

- but after watching the video clip, - Right.

- anyone could think about that. - We got so curious.

There could be many viewers who are curious about you.

I see.

We should not do harm to people who date at work.

- You're right. - We need to protect them.

There is a game that we play on "Running Man".

It was in the video clip earlier.

It's answering 3 questions in 5 seconds.

Let me do it quickly.

- Kwang Soo. - Yes?

Here we go.

What did you think when you saw So Min today?

That she's pretty, her dress is a bit too much,

- And? - and she's sexy.

This won't do...

because about 15 seconds passed.

Then let's start with So Min right away.

Please answer 3 questions in 5 seconds.

When does Kwang Soo look like a man to you?

When his hair is long, when he's strong, and when he looks handsome.

- When he's strong? - They are really suspicious.

- When he's strong? - She said that.

- Please elaborate it. - All right.

Your answer was a bit too long.

"When he's strong" was one of her answers, so I was surprised.

Anyway, shall we meet the second couple now?

- Okay. - Let's watch their video clip.

Not everything is in pairs.

(Not everything is in pairs.)

Not every human being is in pairs either.

(Not every human being is in pairs either.)

This is a story about a man...

who wants to find his mate.

(The second nominees for the Best Couple Award)

Here is a man.

(Dangling)

There is really only one man.

(What a beautiful pose. Nice shot, sir.)

(It sounds like he's splitting firewood.)

(What do you think I am? I'm Thor Jong Kook.)

He is a very strong man.

- Go. - Go.

Let's go. We must go.

- We must go. - Goodness.

(Crumbling)

We all weakly fell down.

Ji Hyo, give him a blow. There you go.

For goodness' sake.

(Hitting hard)

(Falling helplessly)

My goodness. That's no joke.

He's a man of steel who won't let anyone into his heart.

A woman appeared in front of this man.

Here is a guest Jong Kook is afraid of.

- Who is she? - Here she is.

- Here she comes. - Here she is.

(She appears singing "Goodbye".)

(She is a bit extreme and uncomfortable.)

No one could stop her.

That's so impressive.

(Hong Jin Young, the one and only Jong Kook's trainer)

Hey, you, Jong Kook.

(Hey, you, Jong Kook.)

He seems to hate it yet like it.

(It strangely makes his heart flutter.)

Her battery of cheerful energy...

is always charged 100 percent.

Jong Kook, come here. Let's eat pork cutlets.

- Should've chosen something else. - I don't like pork cutlets.

Come here, Jong Kook. I don't want to go alone.

I don't eat pork cutlets.

I'll cut it for you.

My gosh.

(Picking up the pork cutlet coyly)

(Acting cute)

Jing Young. Please, Jin Young.

Jin Young, I'm okay.

(She sweetly feeds him at a rest stop.)

Does anyone want to eat some gummies?

I'm okay. I really am.

Just take it.

- Just have some. - Okay.

Do you need something long? Come here.

(Put the other end into your mouth.)

Do we have to do this for the meat?

Why? Are you nervous?

(It's just a game.)

Stay still.

- I'll come to you. I'm going. - It's a nice place to watch that.

(You stay still. I'll come to you.)

Little drops of water can split a rock eventually.

A straw fire could melt steel.

I can't believe they used that footage for it.

I like "One Man" the most among your songs.

- Suddenly? - She suddenly praised him.

Start after this.

It has been

(He starts singing.)

- He is really singing. - He is.

(I like this song.)

Then could you prepare the chicken, Jong Kook?

I can do that for you.

He listens to her very well.

Jong Kook, peel these two onions too.

- Peel them? - Yes.

Please peel this, Jong Kook.

Do I have to peel all of them?

Jong Kook, dive into the pool here.

- What? - Dive into it.

He does whatever she asks him to.

(He obediently stands up, takes his shirt off...)

(and dives in a cool way for Jin Young despite complaining.)

- Hold on, please. - Okay.

Jong Kook, you do it.

(She is so firm.)

(Are you telling me to mimic a duck?)

Jong Kook won't... Gosh.

(He had never done such a mission.)

(But he's doing it now.)

He's really doing it.

I can't believe he's doing this.

(Jong Kook looks like a bulky duck.)

I didn't know he would do that.

A glacier melts.

The man's heart that looked like an impenetrable fortress...

has melted down.

(I'm not that different, guys.)

This man becomes as gentle as a lamb only in front of her.

Why?

We asked a profiler...

- to analyze that. - What?

Simply put, basically, their relationship is...

like that of a beast and a trainer.

There is something called the mere-exposure effect in psychology.

It means, if you get to see someone repeatedly,

you'll eventually grow fond of them though you didn't at first.

It is very noticeable...

that his cheeks are always flushed.

Of course the color is different from younger men's...

because it's darker,

but it is certain that he has...

feelings for her.

Her cute actions are...

melting Jong Kook's heart that was like an impenetrable fortress...

as if frozen land melts in spring.

It looks like it's about to collapse soon.

- Let's love each other - Let's love each other

- As we do now - As we do now

How much of his heart...

will melt for her?

(How much of his heart will melt for her?)

All right.

I watched the last scene,

- and I got goosebumps. - Right.

Some people might wonder why he opened his mouth so wide,

but the profiler pointed it out too.

I'm not a criminal.

- Of course not. - The profiler...

I know.

Let me ask Haha.

What do you think of these two?

- I saw Jong Kook being patient. - He's patient?

I saw him trying to be patient.

Se Chan saw it too.

It might not be 100 percent, but I think he's 80 percent there.

I think he controls his feelings by working out.

Don't you see me trying to be patient, Haha?

That's why I'm not looking at you.

- Okay. - Even I think...

- I can see what Jong Kook thinks. - Is that so?

I'm not sure about Jin Young even as a woman though.

Let's ask her right away.

What are three charms of Jong Kook?

He has a good body.

Wait, but...

He has small eyes.

- Wait, be quick. - He's dark.

- "He's dark." - Right.

She said those are your charms.

Thank you.

"He's dark."

Jong Kook, what are three charms of Jin Young?

In 1, 2, 3.

She's nice, has a great personality, and she's pretty.

That's right. That's what I was looking for.

She said he's dark. That's kind of...

Many people say...

- they look great together. - Honestly,

- I'm also rooting for these two. - Really.

- I hope they don't disappoint us. - Join "Same Life, Unlike Dreams".

- Thank you. - Right.

If you receive the Best Couple Award,

what can you do?

Shall we come up with a pledge?

- All of a sudden? Just us? - Yes.

I don't know. What should I do? The pledge...

- Can you give her a hug? - Sorry?

- Sure. - You can.

You never had real body contact.

I guess not.

- On the forehead. - What?

We don't...

It's a sign of respect.

- Sure, I will. - All right.

We'll congratulate each other.

Jin Young, can you show us your cuteness?

- For good luck. - That's true.

- Right now? - Yes.

You.

- All right. Thank you. - Thank you.

We met the second couple,

so let's move on to the next couple.

- Is there another couple? - Yes.

This is longer than I thought.

- The Best Couple Award... - There's more.

Here are the last nominees. Let's go meet them.

Partners...

come and go.

That's how partners are.

That's what partners are.

There are unusual partners here.

They're called differently in Incheon.

That's totally different from monkfish.

No, it's the same.

- How's it the same? - It's the same.

- Yes? - I'm certain.

- A moray eel and monkfish? - No.

- I think they're different. - No, they're not.

You are dressed the same and arguing.

- You can't argue. - It looks like a honeymoon.

Go to Incheon. That's what they call it.

These two men always fight when they see each other.

They don't agree at all.

Handsome guys don't have to say a lot.

So?

- What about you? - I'm ugly, so I talk a lot.

- It's true. - It's the same for you too.

If you're ugly and talk a lot, that's the worst.

You are the same as well.

I don't talk as much as you.

- You both talk a lot. - I'm sorry.

These two don't like each other.

(They don't like each other.)

Move! Why are you next to her?

- Do it to Jang Hoon. - Jang Hoon.

- I can't hold it. - It won't be too bad.

- Excuse me. - I can't hold it! What's wrong?

You said he was exaggerating it.

- I can't hold it! - Why are you going out?

- Why are you going out? - I can't hold it!

Why are you going out?

However, there's something they don't know.

(There's a number 4 here.)

(Kim Gu Ra, born in 1970)

(Seo Jang Hoon, born in 1974)

These two are four years apart, which means they're compatible.

(4 years apart)

Their birthdays are also four months apart.

(4 months apart)

Is this a coincidence?

There's a number three here.

Gu Ra's birthday is October 3.

(October 3)

Jang Hoon's birthday is June 3.

It's the third.

This is not it.

I can do whatever I want, right?

Gu Ra made his debut in 1993.

Jang Hoon also made his debut in 1993.

Goosebumps.

It's 1993.

When coincidences overlap, it becomes fate.

Do you know who I went to the theater with last time?

You went with me.

(He watched his last movie with me.)

How long ago was that?

- Right. - We...

Last time I went to the theater...

- was with Gu Ra. - Is that so?

I went a few times after that too.

I think I'll go to a retirement home with Jang Hoon.

(They'll hold hands and head to a retirement home.)

I'm lonely.

They need each other.

So...

we asked the stars.

Gu Ra was born in October, so he's a Libra.

Jang Hoon was born in June, so he's a Gemini.

Jang Hoon, who is a Gemini, is the only one...

who can console Gu Ra when he's lonely.

Jang Hoon is a Gemini,

so he'll be able to comfort Gu Ra, who is a Libra.

We met a physiognomy expert.

(An Joon Bum, Physiognomy Columnist)

They quarrel and fight,

but they don't hate each other.

They feel comfortable with each other.

In the physiognomy standpoint, they go well together.

They're both wealthy.

If regular people get married and get wealthy,

they'll be able to own a five-story building.

With these two, they can get wealthy enough...

to own the 63 Building.

I give them 100 percent.

Then before they meet their new partners,

is it better for them to live together and not be lonely?

I'm for it.

I highly recommend it.

Is this really fate?

(Is this fate sent from up above?)

Jang Hoon's face was on the camera.

He showed mixed feelings.

At the sound of the 63 Building, he gave a thumbs up.

He did.

They're compatible for each other.

That's right. They don't have to get married.

I think it'll be good for them to live together.

What do you think?

- What do you think? - Would you live together?

The two couples before us...

- The couples. - had such long videos,

so I thought it was over, but I came on the screen.

I was very startled when I watched it.

What do you think about living together?

I'm speechless.

"Was it necessary for us to be on the screen?"

That's what I thought.

What part of the video gave you goosebumps?

- I don't know. - There were a few moments.

I don't know.

- Could you not relate? - No, not at all.

I guess you really don't like him.

That's not it. I really like him,

but I don't think it's suitable for us to be in this category.

Sook, you watched them from the side.

- They have great teamwork. - They work very well together.

At the start of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams",

they make hearts with their hands.

They don't look at each other,

but the heart is always perfect.

I think this is fate.

- Is that right? Dong Yeob? - I hope things work out.

After Hong Suk Chun, I think it's time...

for the next celebrity to come out.

- You never know about people. - That's true.

I'll be courageous.

Oh, dear. All right. Let's leave it at that.

We met the three couples nominated for the Best Couple Award.

All of them are strong contenders.

- I wonder what the result is. - Right.

Let's introduce the presenters of the Best Couple Award.

Do you remember the voice...

in the videos?

- Is this who I think it is? - That's right.

It's the Best Couple Award, and he's presenting it.

He's extremely lonely.

Let's welcome him with a round of applause.

Straw shoes have pairs, and chopsticks have pairs too.

Everything in the world has partners.

I don't have a partner.

I'm Im Won Hee, and I'm here to present the award. Nice to meet you.

I'm here to present the Best Couple Award.

I'm single, but I'm here presenting by myself.

I was looking forward to presenting with a female.

It's the Best Couple Award, but I'm here by myself.

Was there a particular couple that you were envious of?

I was envious of Jong Kook and Jin Young.

Thank you.

Please go ahead and present the award.

SBS Entertainment Awards. The Best Couple Award.

The winners are...

Kim Jong Kook and Hong Jin Young...

from "Mom's Diary" and "Running Man". Congratulations.

The Best Couple Award goes to...

Kim Jong Kook and Hong Jin Young this year.

- They won the award. - Yes, congratulations.

It's like they're fated to be together.

I know.

I hope this blessing doesn't stop here.

Yes.

They're the winners of the Best Couple Award.

They are both dressed in black.

I know.

The staff and panel...

from "Mom's Diary" are giving them flowers.

Please tell us how you feel.

We need to ask them questions too.

Of course.

- Please tell us how you feel. - Please go ahead.

Stop making way for each other.

I didn't even know that I was nominated for the Best Couple Award.

It's very sudden for me to get this award.

I'm sure many people like us making jokes together...

He's a good partner for that. I guess that's why people like us.

I believe that is why we won this award.

Thank you very much.

Jong Kook, you should say a word too.

- You should continue. - No, you should say something.

- What? - You should speak.

You want me to speak? Okay.

They're cute together.

It isn't easy for a female celebrity to play such a role with me.

I'm grateful that she always works hard and sacrifices herself.

I have to thank Jin Young because we won this award together.

I want to say thank Jin Young.

Thank you, Jong Kook.

Stop thanking each other.

- You promised something, remember? - They promised to do something.

Didn't you say you were going to hug her?

Do you remember it?

Congratulations.

- You have to hug first. - No!

- You have to hug... - Oh, no.

- Put down the flowers. - Put these down?

It will be hard for them to clean up the mess.

- It's fine. - Okay.

Our staff will take care of it. Put the flowers down.

Please keep your promise on this.

You can't help it because you promised to do it.

The Best Couple Award winners for this year...

are going to keep their promise.

They are the best couple since "X-Man".

- Kiss on her forehead. - Thank you.

- What? - Well, that's it.

That will be the end to it.

All right. Congratulations again.

Congratulations.

They look good together.

I know. I really hope you can be...

nominated for the Best Couple Award next year.

- Please pray for me. - Okay.

It was such a tough time.

Next, we have the nominees...

for the Best Teamwork Award who worked hard together...

with great chemistry.

We have the best teamwork for "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2".

We have great chemistry together as the couples...

talk about their married lives.

I see. Our ladies in "Mom's Diary"...

have great teamwork too. They often have team outings too.

Yes, I've heard about that.

The award presenters...

for the Best Teamwork Award...

are JeA and Cheetah who are supported by many fans...

from the show, "Strong My Way".

Please give them a round of applause.

Hello.

I'm JeA. I'm here to present the Best Teamwork Award.

Hello. It's good to see you again. I'm Cheetah.

I'm honored to be here and celebrate with the other entertainers.

We are going to present the Best Teamwork Award.

I think all the variety shows of SBS were successful this year...

because they had good teamwork.

Cheetah and I work on "Strong My Way" together.

The more I shoot the show, the more I feel the importance of teamwork.

- We have good teamwork too. - Yes.

That's why our show is popular. Thank you.

I hope that you can continue to support...

our refreshing show, "Strong My Way".

We'll present the winners of the Best Teamwork Award.

Cheetah, please announce them.

Okay. Let me announce the winners.

The Best Teamwork Award goes to...

"Running Man". Congratulations.

Congratulations!

They are the best team of all variety shows.

- You are right. - Yes.

Team Running Man is the winner of the Best Teamwork Award.

Please come up to the stage.

Seok Jin and Haha, please come up.

Everyone, please come up.

(Congratulations.)

Jong Kook, you should come up too.

- Yes, I'll go up. - Yes.

- Oh, my goodness. - They really did...

show a great teamwork again this year.

Their fans love how they work together.

Team Running Man is the winner.

Please get your trophy, Seok Jin.

Yes.

Please tell us how you feel.

Please say a word first.

Well...

They want me to speak on behalf of them.

This award is for the team with the best teamwork.

I think our team deserves to get this award.

We work like a family.

Now our teamwork is so great that we can say anything we want.

It has been almost 10 years.

Thank you all who have been supporting our show.

I love you all our members. I want to thank our staff...

for their hard work.

This award is more precious than anything else.

Thank you very much.

- Congratulations again. - Congratulations.

Team Running Man is the best team.

Jong Kook has to keep coming and going because he's...

- continuously getting awards. - I know.

- He's so busy. - Please join us now.

Let me ask you two a question.

Is there any best scenes from you? Do you remember any?

I think you receiving the Best Couple Award...

with Jin Young is the best scene.

- I know. - I agree.

I made a good scene even before the new year came.

- I'm quite happy about that. - I'm jealous.

I hope to hear good news soon.

I asked this question...

- because we need to present... - That's right.

the Scene-stealer Award to those who made eye-catching scenes.

The presenters are Yang Se Hyeong and Yuk Seong Jae...

- from "All the Butlers". - All right.

Hello. This is Se Hyeong.

Hello. I'm Seong Jae from BTOB.

Is there any memorable master...

whom you met from "All the Butlers"?

I still remember Jeon In Kwon. He was in our first episode.

When he sang the song, "Please"...

I burst into tears. I remember how I couldn't stop crying.

What about you, Se Hyeong?

I remember all the masters.

Seong Jae.

Can you show any of your specialties or shoot a heart...

for the viewers who are watching SBS Entertainment Awards now?

- A heart? - Yes.

I love you, SBS!

All right.

That was beautiful.

Let's check out the nominees...

for the Scene-stealer Award first.

I heard that the nominees are all very competitive.

Let's check them out.

(Scene-stealer Award)

The Scene-stealer Award.

(Scene-stealer Award)

Seungri.

(Seungri of "Horizontal Channel", "Mom's Diary")

Let's go party!

(Today's DJ is Seungri.)

(Swag)

(Seungri's showing how to do DJ'ing.)

He's cool.

I'll be really disappointed if they don't invite me...

to SBS Entertainment Awards.

You should quickly shoot and leave!

(Quickly shoot and leave!)

Get out of my place!

(Lee Da Hee of "Running Man")

Lee Da Hee.

(Lee Da Hee of "Running Man")

Everyone who is older than me should step forward.

(It's time to choose.)

(How many of them will be there for Da Hee?)

(Only the younger one is here.)

(Who is that young man?)

- Insert it on the count of three. - Okay.

1, 2, 3.

(Kwang Soo didn't insert it.)

You are such a bad guy! You're so selfish!

I couldn't get it at the right time.

I said "Insert it on the count of three!"

Why couldn't you get it?

(She's watching Kwang Soo from the back.)

It will be out.

(Jennie of "Running Man", "Village Survival, the Eight")

Jennie.

(Jennie of "Running Man", "Village Survival, the Eight")

I'll go there first because I want to win.

(A bold heart moving forward while shouting loudly)

(But she's such a coward who makes a U-turn right away.)

Oh, gosh. I'm too scared! I can't go.

There's a man at this corner!

Where is it? Who is it? Oh, no!

- You weren't supposed to scare me. - I know!

You lost.

I know.

Lee Kwang Soo.

(Lee Kwang Soo of "Running Man")

(The hottest man on the block)

(Creaking)

(He's the first one to arrive at the rose spot.)

We don't know what will happen.

(Lee Kwang Soo of "Running Man")

(He's on the rampage.)

Is it not finished yet?

- It's over. - Is it finished?

Not yet.

- One... - Here we go.

Three!

(This is the partners of destiny.)

(This is Groot.)

(Scene-stealer Award)

(Seungri of "Horizontal Channel", "Mom's Diary")

(Jennie of "Running Man", "Village Survival, the Eight")

(Lee Da Hee of "Running Man", Lee Kwang Soo of "Running Man")

This is what a scene-stealer of a variety show is.

I think I have to try harder.

The Scene-stealer Award.

Every one of them deserves the award.

Now I'll announce the winner.

All right.

SBS Entertainment Awards.

The Scene-stealer Award goes to...

Seungri of "Horizontal Channels" and "Mom's Diary".

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

- Congratulations, Seungri. - Congratulations.

He's the son of SBS variety shows.

He presented a wonderful performance too.

Right.

It's Seungri...

who received the Scene-stealer Award.

Please take the flowers.

Congratulations again.

(Seungri)

Thank you. I used to appear on...

many SBS variety shows with the other members of BigBang.

You called me for the first episode of "Strong Heart",

but you didn't keep me for long.

You always used me for the pilot shows only,

and this is the first time I worked as a regular guest.

And I'm receiving an award thanks to it.

As the other members of BigBang are doing the military service,

to prevent people from feeling the absence of BigBang,

I tried to work hard on behalf of the other members.

I think many people adored me for that.

Thank you.

I'm very embarrassed...

to receive an award...

in front of great seniors of variety shows.

Now, I'm working with Kang Ho Dong.

Ho Dong told me, "Seungri, you're a member of BigBang."

"You don't need to appear on variety shows."

"You don't have to do this."

But I'd like to appear on variety shows.

I'll try hard with a sincere attitude...

and as an entertainer who makes people happy.

I'll do my best.

I want to thank YG.

Thank you, Chairman Yang Hyun Suk.

Dear members of BigBang, I miss you so much.

Are you watching this now?

The youngest member tried so hard and made it here.

BigBang, forever!

Please wait for BigBang's comeback.

Thank you. VIP, thank you.

Thank you!

I think the BigBang members would compliment him.

Yes, you're right.

The next award is for someone who receives a lot of support...

not only domestically but also internationally.

- It's the Popularity Award. - The Popularity Award.

Everyone here would want to receive...

- the Popularity Award. - Right.

Yang Se Hyeong and Yuk Jae Seong will present the award.

- It's Yuk Seong Jae. - Yuk Seong Jae.

- We're sorry. - It's Yuk Seong Jae.

He recently changed his name.

How can you call his name wrong?

- I'm sorry. I apologize. - Yes, please be careful.

People call me Kook Jong too.

Yuk Seong Jae will present the award. I'm sorry.

You're very popular, Jae Seong.

Yes, I am.

What's the secret behind the popularity?

First, I show what fans want to see without making it fake.

I guess that might be the secret of my popularity.

Please let me know...

how to get support from fans.

BTOB came back with a new song,

so I'll show you a little bit of it.

Yes, please.

Beautiful and painful

It was so beautiful.

Will you announce the winner now?

Shall I?

Yuk Jae Seong, you can do it!

SBS Entertainment Awards, the Popularity Award goes to...

Lee Kwang Soo of "Running Man". Congratulations.

Congratulations.

- He's the Prince of Asia. - He's indeed the prince.

Actually, many of his fans are here with us in the studio.

- That's right. - Many are here.

We can feel his popularity.

He's the Prince of Asia.

Lee Kwang Soo wins the Popularity Award.

His hair is blown as he's going on to the stage.

Right.

You might say he's a soccer player.

Se Hyeong gave him a hug tightly.

I guess Se Hyeong was being conscious of his fans abroad.

Kwang Soo, please share your acceptance speech with us.

You have fewer flowers than the other winners...

when you won the Popularity Award.

All right.

I give thanks to the Almighty.

(Lee Kwang Soo)

Gosh.

("Running Man" is so much fun. Be with us every Sunday.)

I didn't know that I'd win an award. Thank you so much.

I want to thank the cast of "Running Man"...

and the production crew.

I really love you and thank you.

I tried my best for the viewers...

to have a great time,

but I make a lot of mistakes because I lack in so many ways.

In 2019, I'll do my best...

to give you only the best time.

Thank you.

Congratulations.

(The thing you're most curious about right now)

- Kang Ho Dong. - Congratulations.

Yu Jae Seok.

(Yu Jae Seok, 2011 and 2012)

Kim Byung Man.

Congratulations.

- Lee Gyeong Gyu. - Lee Gyeong Gyu.

Yu Jae Seok and Kim Byung Man.

Shin Dong Yeob.

Shin Dong Yeob. Congratulations!

The ladies of "Mom's Diary". Congratulations.

(Number 1 in ratings and number 1 in popularity)

(The best variety show on SBS, in 2018)

(The fiercest competition)

(Who will be the winner of the Grand Award tonight?)

- Hello, nice meet you. - Nice to meet you.

- I'm Boom. - Nice to meet you.

Can you do the car sound once again?

I'm Boom.

Why are you enjoying this festival without me?

It's the festival day today.

Who would receive the Grand Award?

Many people are curious about it.

Those who want to join the festival, gather up.

There's nothing here.

I need some music.

You're pretending to be DJ'ing.

The staff must be very tired.

Gather up!

The music is on now. It's nice.

It's on now.

- Let's get it! - The timing wasn't right.

The Grand Award is the most fantastic award tonight.

I'm here to introduce the nominees of the Grand Award.

Go Eun, who do you think would receive the Grand Award?

I don't know.

You're asking me a difficult question.

Is it difficult?

I wish Yuk Seong Jae receives it...

as I feel so sorry.

She wishes Yuk Seong Jae to receive the Grand Award.

- That was totally unexpected. - I'm sorry again.

Congratulations.

Jong Kook, you are a man of insight.

Who do you think will win the Grand Award?

Well, I don't know. It's hard to answer,

but as they take such a good care of my mom, it'd be nice...

if one of the cast from "Mom's Diary" wins the Grand Award.

He wants one of the cast from "Mom's Diary" to win the award.

From now on, I'll check your insight and gut.

We'll cast a vote using SBS' digital system.

I'll proceed it with the celebrities here.

Do you see a paper in front of you?

You can write down a name on it.

Just write down a name of someone...

that you think will get the Grand Award,

and put the paper in the ballot box.

Please write down the name of someone whom you think...

would receive the Grand Award.

You can write it as a team. Write it down yourself.

The Grand Award.

SBS Entertainment Awards.

I'm sorry. Cover the name as you write it.

Are you done? All right.

Doesn't "Shin" appear too big here?

Am I wrong? Are you done?

Are you done?

Jang Hoon wrote it himself.

Seungri. I can see ambition in your eyes.

Are you done?

Okay, good. I'm telling you again.

This voting doesn't affect who gets the Grand Award at all.

Seung Gi, are you done?

- Yes, I'm done. - You wrote it down perfectly.

Yes.

Se Hyeong, are you done?

- Yes, I'm done. - Whose name did you write?

- Isn't this a secret ballot? - It is.

It's a secret ballot and do I need to answer you?

- No, it's a secret. - Yes. I'll keep it to myself.

Fold it well. I can clearly see "Yang".

"Yang Se...". Yes.

- Fold it well. - Okay.

Here's "Running Man" team.

- Se Chan, are you done? - Yes, I am.

Jae Seok.

Whose name did you write? You're holding it so tightly.

I'm done. I only folded it once.

Actually, Jae Seok has an incredible insight.

Do you think that person would win the Grand Award?

- I'm not sure. - You're not sure.

I feel like as time goes by,

your insight seems to get worse. Am I wrong?

I don't understand what you mean.

I feel your insight is not as good as before.

- You mean it's getting worse. - Right.

- Are you completely done? - Yes, I am.

Are you done, So Min? Good.

Now, put your votes...

into the box this nice guy is holding.

After a while, the nominees for the Grand Award you wrote...

will be revealed.

I'll trust your gut and come back after a while.

At this moment, through an application on SBS website,

there's an event regarding the Grand Award.

Various prizes are waiting for you. We'll wait for your participation.

Now, you can check out the outside of SBS.

After you watch the outside of SBS building,

I'll come back. Boom will be back!

Boom will be back.

(Live at SBS Prism Tower, Sangam-dong)

Thank you, Boom.

- He's funny. - He's good.

Actually, everyone here wrote down a name.

- The viewers are also voting. - Right.

Soo Hong, I guess you didn't write your name.

- No, I didn't. - Your name is...

You got me.

- I'm sorry. - All right.

Next, the Excellence Award will be presented.

The Excellence Award will be given in two categories.

They are the Show Talk Category and the Variety Show Category.

The Show Talk Category will be presented by Haha...

of "Running Man" and the one who loves him so much.

- Goodness. - She has the same name as mine.

Exactly. Let's bring them here.

You must've been surprised to find out that you're presenting with me.

You thought you'd do this with someone else.

I dressed up thinking that I'd do this with someone else.

But I'm doing this with someone I see every day.

Still, I feel good.

- It's been a while. - You look beautiful.

- You look nice too. - All right.

Hello, I'm Star's husband, Haha.

Hello, I'm Haha's wife. I'm Singer Star.

- Nice to meet you. - It's so nice to be here.

Thanks to SBS Entertainment Awards,

we're being shot together at the year-end.

Right. It's nice that you're working hard these days.

Thank you.

Jong Kook and Jin Young won the Best Couple Award today.

- I know. - You predicted it.

I'm always keeping my eyes on them.

My new year's wish is for Jong Kook to get married.

- That's what I want to. - I'm praying it all the time.

I'll wait for some good news.

Whenever I meet you, I get so conscious.

- We make him feel that way a lot. - I'll get married soon.

Okay. I've said this several times on many shows.

It's so easy to seduce Jong Kook.

- Right. - If you can ask him out...

for about three times, he'll fall for you.

- Really? - You can date him easily.

If Jin Young takes her courage and asks him out one more time,

then something beautiful will happen.

- Haha, stop it. - I get it.

- Are you living only for today? - I'm so happy. That's why.

- Please get married. - I will.

All right. We'll now present the Excellence Award...

in the Show Talk Category.

Let's check out the nominees.

(Show Talk Category)

The Excellence Award in the Show Talk Category.

(In Gyo Jin of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2")

In Gyo Jin.

(In Gyo Jin of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2")

Yes, I love you.

(Yes, I love you.)

I thought Yi Hyun was crying.

Gosh, really.

He's crying again.

Honey, are you crying now?

It feels like Ha Eun is getting married.

(He's crying.)

- Why are you crying? - You're a crybaby.

(You're a crybaby.)

(He's crying too.)

(So Yi Hyun of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2")

So Yi Hyun.

(So Yi Hyun of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2")

You can set how much time you'll allow him to play.

You saw the one on the boat and the one behind the tree.

You were seeing even better than me.

- Is it because it's autumn? - It's because you sleep late.

(It's because you sleep at dawn after playing computer games.)

The one who looks the same as you jumped off.

Don't you need to explain it?

Yi Hyun doesn't look so happy.

(She's dumbfounded.)

(She's getting gloomy.)

(Yang Se Hyeong of "Horizontal Channel")

Yang Se Hyeong.

(Yang Se Hyeong of "Horizontal Channel")

(Don't cry.)

He's even shooting a skit.

You can look forward to it.

(Excellence Award in the Show Talk Category)

(In Gyo Jin, BoA, Lee Sang Min, So Yi Hyun, Yang Se Hyeong)

The nominees must be so nervous at this moment.

- A couple is nominated together. - I know.

All right. Star, please announce the winner now.

Yes, I'll announce the winner.

The Excellence Award in the Show Talk Category.

There are two winners.

So Yi Hyun of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams"...

and Lee Sang Min of "Mom's Diary", "THE FAN", "Reckless but Happy".

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

Congratulations.

- Congratulations. - The Excellence Award goes to...

So Yi Hyun of "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2"...

- and Lee Sang Min of "Mom's Diary". - Congratulations.

All right.

Sang Min is a fashionista.

His suit looks great.

- Yi Hyun comes on the stage often. - Right.

- All right. - All right.

You can now receive the awards.

Receive the flowers too.

- Congratulations. - I wonder if Gyo Jin is crying.

We need to see him cry.

He's a sentimental man.

He has such a warm heart.

We can look at him again when she gives the acceptance speech.

Sang Min, please share the acceptance speech first.

All right. Thank you so much.

This year, so many people have asked me...

how my mom was doing.

So I told them she was fine.

Actually, she was not fine most of the time.

When I received the Rookie Award last year, she didn't even know it.

But now she's watching me on TV at home.

She's very healthy. I really...

wanted her to be healthy,

and I wanted to show her that I, someone who troubled her so much,

am living so diligently and so well.

I prayed all the time and kept telling her to be healthy.

I bathed her for the first time in my life.

Mom, you must be watching this on TV right now.

I guess you never imagined a day like this would come. Neither did I.

I love you so much.

And I hope you stay healthy. You're completely recovered now.

Now you're really healthy.

You can watch TV...

and be as happy as you want.

I love you.

And I got to be on "Mom's Diary"...

as Jang Hoon persuaded me a lot.

I never imagined I'd live life fully like this again. Thank you so much.

Thank you, Director Choi Young In, Chief Director Nam Seung Yong,

I want to thank...

Producer Kwak Seung Young, scriptwriter Yook So Young,

and Kang Seung Hee. So many staff members dragged me out of my room...

and made many viewers love and support me.

Thank you so much. I'll do my best in my life...

and visit you with a good feature all the time. Thank you.

His acceptance speech was sincere. Yi Hyun, go ahead.

All right.

Thank you. Can I receive this award? To be honest...

It feels a little bit awkward...

to be here.

While my husband was appearing on "Same Life, Unlike Dreams",

he showed a lot of good sides of him for a year.

When I told my friends I was getting married to him,

many of them asked me why.

I really wanted to show you...

that he's such a nice, attractive, and lovely man.

That's why I decided to appear on the show.

Now a year has passed, and you like us...

and support us so much, so I really appreciate that.

And I'm even more thankful that I'm getting this award.

I want to thank Director Choi for giving me a chance...

to appear on "Same Life, Unlike Dreams ",

Producer Woo Ram, and the scriptwriters behind me now.

I want to thank each and every one of you,

and I appreciate that they made it possible for me to be here.

I haven't visited you often because I was busy shooting a drama.

I appreciate my parents-in-law for not kicking me out.

I thank my parents for taking care of my children.

Above all, my husband made it possible for me to be here,

so I appreciate him the most.

I love him so much.

I'm very thankful to Ha Eun and So Eun too.

Dear viewers, we will...

We will live as a lovely family.

Please continue to watch us.

Thank you so much. Thank you.

Congratulations.

- They are so lovely. - Yes.

- I envy them. - I envy that couple.

- Gyo Jin... - Gyo Jin has a warm heart.

keeps crying.

- I can see who he is. - Yes.

- Congratulations. - Right.

Next is the Excellence Award in the Variety Show Category.

It will be awarded by Jee Seok Jin of "Running Man"...

and the beauty of the jungle, Jeon Hye Bin.

I'm afraid not many people would know this.

This is Seok Jin's song.

This song is "I Know". I'm very surprised to hear it.

I'm the singer of this song, Jee Seok Jin. It's nice to be here.

Hello, everyone. I'm Jeon Hye Bin.

It's really nice to hear "I Know" again after a long time.

- Really? Thank you. - Yes.

It was released at the same time as Seo Taeji and Boys' "I Know",

and it miserably failed.

- You used to be a singer. - It didn't miserably fail. Right.

You seem to understand the great song. Do you know this song well?

- I only know that part. Only that. - Only that part.

We became close through "Running Man".

Hye Bin and I have done other shows in the past too.

Do you remember saying this?

You said you don't like Jong Kook.

You said you like Seok Jin.

- Did I? - That's why we are here together.

I didn't know that one bad choice...

was going to cause a ripple effect.

- Right. - Right.

I was so thankful at the time.

I will thank you by making...

- an acrostic poem. - With my name?

I will give you my name then.

- Please. - Jeon.

Ms. Jeon.

You are not the Hye Bin I used to know.

Hye.

Hye Bin.

Bin.

I couldn't come with empty hands.

I picked this up on the street.

What's going on?

- He picked it up. - He picked it up.

I'm sure he actually picked it up on the street.

By the way, there are so many real flowers here.

And he had to pick a fake flower.

I will keep this forever. Thank you.

Thank you.

This is embarrassing.

Hye Bin, you received an award a while ago.

You left a big legacy in the variety show industry.

You were the first actress to go to the South Pole.

Through "The Law of Jungle",

I got to experience a lot of big things.

The show "The Law of Jungle"...

is not just about showing interesting things...

and people being on adventures.

I realized this when I went to the South Pole.

I realized the seriousness of global warming.

Many people,

especially children, watch this show a lot.

We need to realize the graveness of the situation.

In 2019, we must try harder...

to make Earth healthier.

She's the actress conscious of social issues.

Seok Jin, why... You should go.

It would suit you very well.

I'm too scared to go.

- But in the past... - I think it doesn't suit me.

The crew and cast members...

are giving them the flower bouquets.

Both shows are very much loved.

Bo Ah.

Yes. Please received the bouquet and give your acceptance speech.

She's got a lot to receive.

Seong Jae can deliver the speech first.

Unlike when we awarded the Popularity Award,

there are too many flower bouquets.

- I know. - Yes.

Please give your acceptance speech.

(Yuk Seong Jae)

Thank you so much.

I didn't expect it at all.

My heart is beating so fast.

I can't believe I'm receiving an award in front of great people.

This is the most excellent award I've ever received.

Thank you so much.

Director Choi Hyung In of "All the Butlers".

Producer Lee Se Young.

Producer Kim Jung Wook. Writer Kim Myeong Jung.

And So Young.

All the other writers. And all the crew members.

Thank you so much for casting me to...

"All the Butlers".

I will continue to work hard.

There is a pose we are trying to make popular.

It's our signature pose which nobody else knows about.

I will use this opportunity to promote the pose.

Don't do it.

We are curious about it. How does it go?

This is a perfect place to do it.

- Yes. - I'm worried.

"All the Butlers".

All right.

Thank you. I will work hard.

The other members are satisfied.

- I like it. - I was anxious about it.

Bo Ah, please give your acceptance speech.

Hello, I'm Cho Bo Ah.

(Cho Bo Ah)

It's too big of an award for me.

I will think of this award not as an award given to me...

but as an award given to the entire crew of the show.

And I will gratefully receive it.

Mr. Baek Jong Won and Mr. Kim Seong Ju.

Producer Lee Kwan Won. Producer Jung Woo Jin.

Writer Hwang Bo Kyung. Writer Lee Hye Min.

So many crew members of the show...

earnestly try to save small business districts...

and help restaurant owners in trouble.

Everyone tries hard with one goal in mind.

I believe this award is given to me...

in recognition of our hard work and to encourage the entire crew.

With that in mind, I will gladly accept the award.

As an MC,

I will be more earnest and hard-working.

Be careful not to catch cold,

and I wish you a Happy New Year.

She talks beautifully too.

- Congratulations. - Congratulations,

- Bo Ah and Seong Jae. - Congratulations.

We will soon be announcing the Grand Award.

We are nearly there.

All the people here must be very curious.

- I'm very curious too. - Right.

SBS shows received so much love...

this year.

You're right.

Many people must be curious about who will win the Grand Award.

- Right. - The Grand Award. Among us...

Have you received the Grand Award?

Of course not.

I looked into it, and it turned out Jong Kook won...

- He received it. - the Grand Award...

- The last ones. - from all three different...

- broadcasting stations. - Yes.

Yes. I was very fortunate...

to receive the Grand Award as an artist.

There were so many outstanding nominees.

So I wasn't expecting it at all.

Who were the other nominees?

There was TVXQ.

There was SG Wannabe. The music industry...

was at its prime at the time.

So when I won it... I was so flustered.

I couldn't express any feelings then.

After receiving it from two award shows, you must've...

Right. Right.

Gratefully, I got it from all three award shows.

I would like to thank them once again.

I was only asking how you felt...

- at the time. - Right.

This is a very nerve-racking moment.

To relax us a little bit, someone will put on...

- a very exciting performance. - Right.

- She's the nation's battery. - Yes.

Hong Jin Young...

changed the lyrics...

of her song for the people here.

- She must've worked hard. - Please give it up for her.

[VIU Ver] SBS E02 '2018 SBS Entertainment Awards' -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

("Thumbs Up" by Hong Jin Young)

(Hong Jin Young)

Put your hands up and clap.

The audience in the back.

Can you shout for me?

(Live at SBS Prism Tower, Sangam-dong)

(SBS Entertainment Awards)

- Jin Young is so fun. - Yes.

- She uplifted the mood. - That was exciting.

That was one hot performance on a cold day.

Right. She even changed the lyrics using the names of the cast.

- Right. She did a really good job. - She worked hard.

- She must be busy. - What did you think of it?

She must be very busy,

- but she changed the lyrics. - You were very into it.

It was really great.

You are not jeering at us, are you? You are giving a thumbs up.

- Yes. - Thumbs up.

It's my first time to hear "Thumbs Up".

I never knew her voice was so charming and beautiful.

It was my first time watching her perform.

Isn't Jong Kook's voice just as beautiful though?

Your voice is very gentle.

What would it be like if he sings "Thumbs Up"?

- Right now? - Yes.

It will be very meaningful.

- Will it be? - Can you sing it?

Thumb, thumbs up Thumb, thumbs up

- Why... - What?

- What's wrong? - He was getting there.

- That's not the embarrassing part. - He was getting there.

It was embarrassing to suddenly sing the song.

I apologize for asking him to sing.

It's a great song.

Of course it is.

We watched Jin Young's great performance.

Next is the Top Excellence Award.

That's right.

It'll be awarded by the two tallest men on the variety show scene.

Seo Jang Hoon and Lee Kwang Soo will be giving out the award.

Kwang Soo has never looked so small before.

These two raised Korea's average height.

Hello, I'm Seo Jang Hoon.

Hello, I'm Lee Kwang Soo.

(Seo Jang Hoon, Lee Kwang Soo)

Yes.

- The music ended? - The music ended.

Kwang Soo, you must've wanted...

- a female partner instead of me. - Yes.

Were you surprised to see me?

I was quite surprised.

You seem very surprised.

But personally,

I'm glad that I get to give out the award with you...

because I get to stand out.

Of course. Of course.

- You are the Prince of Asia. - No, I am not.

Last summer,

I went to Myanmar...

to shoot "Reckless but Happy".

So many girl fans were at the airport.

I wondered what was going on. I thought none of our members...

- were that popular abroad. - Right.

It turned out they were there to see Kwang Soo.

They filled the entire airport.

In Myanmar...

Of course they also looked for Jae Seok and other members.

But Kwang Soo's popularity...

spread all the way to Myanmar.

- I never knew it. - Thank you.

Anyway,

we set a new record, didn't we?

- Yes. Yes. - We must be the tallest...

This record will be very hard to be broken.

- This record won't be broken. - Yes.

- It's an honor. - From here, you look like...

a basketball player and a soccer player.

- Do I look like a soccer player? - Yes.

- Your hair... - His hair.

- Soccer player? - Yes.

- Right. - He's like a goalkeeper.

We will award the Top Excellence Award in the Show Talk Category.

Kwang Soo will announce the winner of Show Talk Category.

SBS Entertainment Awards.

The Top Excellence Award in the Show Talk Category.

The winner is...

Yang Se Hyeong of "Horizontal Channel",

"All the Butlers", and "Village Survival, the Eight".

Congratulations.

He's on "Horizontal Channel" and "All the Butlers".

- Yang Se Hyeong won... - Right.

the Top Excellence Award.

(Congratulations.)

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

He must be happy.

He's such a witty person.

- That's right. - He's very talented.

He's active on many variety shows.

Many crew members will come up the stage.

He's on two shows.

He's getting a lot of flowers.

Congratulations.

Sang Yun is smiling brightly.

There are more flowers.

Yes.

My goodness.

- He worked hard. - Yes.

Please deliver the acceptance speech.

(Yang Se Hyeong)

I didn't expect to receive such a big award.

Thank you so much.

First of all,

I want to thank my father who always supports me...

and my mother who must be watching this on TV now.

And my dear brother Se Chan.

I want to thank all of them.

The CEO of my agency Yoo Jin Ho.

Director Jang Gang Il. Shin O.

And the new stylish Jin Soo.

I want to thank all of them.

Somehow...

in 2018,

SBS gave me so much work.

I'm very grateful for it.

Despite it being a TV show,

I'm learning so much...

from "All the Butlers". I thank all the crew and cast.

I want to thank the masters too.

"Horizontal Channel" is becoming more and more popular.

I want to thank the crew.

I also want to thank...

the crew and cast of "Village Survival, the Eight".

I'm always thrilled to go to that shoot.

I also want to thank the crew of "Mom's Diary"...

for letting me make precious memories with Se Chan.

You see...

In the past,

because I'm such an ambitious person,

I thought everything happened because I'm good.

But as time passed, I realized I can't do anything alone.

These days when I watch the shows,

I get surprised because I'm much more fun...

in the final edit. That makes me realize...

what great work the crew does.

Because they shot me from a great position,

I'm able to win this award.

With all my honesty, I want to...

dedicate this award to them.

I don't know if you would believe me if I say this.

When I am really happy,

I travel back to the past...

for a brief moment of 2 to 3 seconds.

It doesn't make sense.

But as I was coming up the stage,

I went back to the time when I was in high school.

I went to myself wearing a high school uniform...

and distributing flyers for a comedy show.

And I cheered for him.

Somewhere here there must be...

the old me...

cheering for me.

I made up my mind to work really hard in 2019.

Since this is such a big award,

I will do better than I to do and make you laugh.

Thank you.

All right.

Se Hyeong is...

on many variety shows.

He works hard.

It's very uncommon...

for brothers to be present at an awards ceremony.

- It must be a great memory. - I envy them.

- That's right. - I am also a big fan of you.

- I always enjoy watching the shows. - Right.

Se Chan, are you happy that your brother won the award?

How do you feel? Please say a word.

I'm really happy. I got really emotional.

It would have been better if he didn't talk about...

travelling back to the past for two seconds.

I was wondering what he was talking about.

It was a little bit strange.

- I was going to ask you later. - Still...

Right. Still, I'm really happy that he received the award.

I was about to ask him to visit my past too.

- Right. - Yes.

That's a comment only his brother can give.

Next is the Top Excellence Award in the Variety Show Category.

- Please continue. - Yes.

Kwang Soo,

you are a great actor too.

Many people think you are a variety show star.

Yes. Because many people love "Running Man"...

Yes. That must be why.

If you can only choose one...

I am sorry to ask you this silly question.

Do you prefer to be an actor or a variety show star?

That's a difficult question.

That's a tough question to be asked...

on the stage of Entertainment Awards.

Are you a variety show star or a basketball player?

He threw a question back at Jang Hoon.

I don't have to worry about it.

Because I am already retired as a basketball player.

Even if I wanted to go back, I can't.

Right now, I'm proud to say I'm a variety show...

- star. - We will ask another question.

Will you retire from acting?

Or will you retire from variety shows?

Why do I have to retire?

It was Jang Hoon's question. I didn't ask the question.

Why did you do that? Why?

- If you had to choose. - That is if you had to choose.

Would you choose to be an actor or a variety show star?

I like both.

I heard you earn more from variety shows.

I earn quite well from both.

- All right. - Yes.

I'm just curious.

Can't the mic get any higher?

Yes. We have to crouch.

It's our first time to see it happen.

It's like asking a child to choose between his father and mother.

That's right.

Since everyone is waiting,

we will continue with the awarding of the Top Excellence Award...

in the Variety Show Category.

Yes.

Here.

SBS Entertainment Awards.

Top Excellence Award in the Variety Show Category

The winner is...

Jeon So Min of "Running Man". Congratulations.

- Congratulations. - It's Jeon So Min.

The family member won.

She can't believe it.

This is unbelievable. She won the Top Excellence Award...

in the Variety Show Category.

- And it's more meaningful... - I know.

- because Kwang Soo was awarding it. - Yes. She's happy.

- I was surprised too. - This way, So Min.

- She's really in a shock. - I know.

She must've not expected it at all.

Kwang Soo is handing her the award.

So Min works really hard.

She deserves the award.

Jang Hoon, can you check...

the card Kwang Soo read?

Please check if the winner is really So Min.

- He might have lied. - No way.

- Congratulations. - Congratulations, So Min.

She was truly amazing.

Please deliver your acceptance speech.

Will you help her, Seok Jin?

All right.

Please give the acceptance speech.

(Jeon So Min)

She must be really surprised.

I... I never imagined it.

I don't know if I can receive this award.

Are you really giving it to me?

- Can I accept it? - Of course.

It's such a big honor.

Thank you so much.

I want to thank my parents who are watching this right now.

When I was here last year,

I felt really happy.

I feel happy again because...

I got to meet such great friends...

through this variety show.

And you give me an award every year too.

I am very grateful.

I don't know what to do. My shoulders are heavy.

I need to be more fun and be more entertaining.

What should I do next year?

What do I do?

I want to thank my agency staffs who always support me,

my stylists, and other staff members.

But more than anybody, I thank the producers,

writers, and crew members of "Running Man"...

who work hard while running with us.

Every week,

I enjoy shooting the show with other cast members.

I am always grateful to be working side by side...

with people I grew up watching on TV.

I am always fascinated.

Since I was young, I've watched them...

on many variety shows.

I am forever grateful for the precious opportunity.

I will always work hard and enjoy working.

Thank you so very much.

Thank you so much.

I will work hard.

Be happy. Be healthy.

- All right. - Congratulations.

Congratulations again, So Min.

She works very, very hard.

She works very hard at the shoot.

- And the viewers recognize it. - Right.

Congratulations again.

- We are broadcasting live... - Right.

- at SBS Prism Tower. - At SBS Prism Tower.

- It's now... - It's nearly 12:30am now.

- Right. - Already?

Only two awards remain now.

Everyone here including us...

and the viewers must be anxious and curious.

This award...

- is a very meaningful award. - It's meaningful.

The producers voted and chose one person...

- who is hard-working and good. - Right.

It's the Producer Award.

You need to receive this award...

to last long.

- Right. I received it before. - Right.

Right. It's a meaningful award indeed.

- It is. - That's the only award you need.

- Of course. - You don't want the Grand Award?

Of course I want it.

Right. Since the producers who make the shows...

chose this person,

this award bears a very special meaning.

Yes. I am curious about which stars...

were chosen by the producers.

Yes. The award will be given out by...

this beautiful couple from "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2".

The In-So Couple.

So Yi Hyun and In Gyo Jin will give out the award.

Hello, I'm In Gyo Jin.

Hello. I'm So Yi Hyun.

You sang this song, didn't you?

- A machine sang this song. - Right.

By the way, Gyo Jin, I'm used to seeing you at home.

You are always in a sweatsuit or pajamas,

but you look handsome now.

You know I got prepared a lot for today.

You were holding back your tears earlier. You did a good job.

I think I finally calmed down now.

You were holding back your tears so hard...

that you might have omitted some people earlier. Why don't you...

Right. There are so many people.

While shooting "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2"...

Gu Ra and Jang Hoon...

- Sook too. - Yes, Sook too.

And Young Soo and Go Eun who are also on the show.

- And Ryu Su Young too. - Ryu Su Young.

- Right. - I'm so thankful to all of them.

I forgot to mention them.

I'm really sorry.

We wanted to say thanks once again for cherishing us.

All right.

They look so bright. I think they get along so well.

- They make me want to get married. - That's right.

They are a couple that stimulates us.

There are many viewers who love you.

In front of them, could you say one thing that you want...

from each other next year if you have any?

What I personally want from her next year is...

If Yi Hyun does exactly what she has been doing...

so far since we got married,

I think I'd be completely satisfied with that.

Okay, I see.

Then I'll keep giving you the same amount of pocket money in 2019.

That's not what I meant.

Anyway, thank you so much.

Thank you again for supporting us for the year.

We are here to present an award.

The award we're presenting is...

the Producer Award whose winner was picked by...

SBS variety show producers.

Actually, Gyo Jin and I met because SBS producers cast us together.

Right. When we were rookies about 15 years ago,

we were cast and acted together in the same drama,

and 10 years ago, we acted as a married couple.

Yes. And now, we became a real married couple,

shoot a variety show,

and even received an award like this.

I think we owe SBS a lot. Thank you once again.

Thank you very much.

Yi Hyun, shall we announce the winner of the Producer Award?

Okay.

Let me announce the winner.

SBS Entertainment Awards. Producer Award.

And the winner goes to...

Could you announce it, Gyo Jin?

Okay. Gosh.

Kim Jong Kook of "Running Man" and "Mom's Diary".

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

Oh, it's Jong Kook.

Gosh, congratulations.

(Congratulations.)

He really did...

work hard on "Running Man" and "Mom's Diary".

Jong Kook is the winner of the Producer Award,

selected by the producers.

Congratulations.

It is one of the most meaningful award in a sense...

- because it's an award that is... - Sure.

given by the coworkers to the person who works hard.

All right. I have received that award before,

- so I know how meaningful it is. - Right.

Please give your acceptance speech, Jong Kook.

Oh, well...

(Kim Jong Kook)

I said this award has a lot of meaning, and I received it,

so I feel somewhat sorry.

Strangely, so many people asked me...

if I am an employee of SBS,

and they told me I shoot only SBS variety shows all the time.

So there are some people who tease me for that.

It is strange. I do like SBS,

but ever since I started shooting "X-man",

I stayed with SBS because of those whom I work with.

I always considered with whom I'd be working...

when I chose the shows,

and I just followed good fellows.

So ever since "X-man", "Family Outing",

and "Running Man" too...

Oh, and "Mom's Diary" too. Actually,

I always kept working together with the SBS staff...

I already knew when they made new shows.

I think I benefited from them a lot.

I've done variety shows for such a long time so far,

and I hope I'll still be in their good books from now on...

and keep working for SBS on weekend variety shows...

including new ones.

I've talked about "Running Man" for a long time so far.

I'm so thankful to my teammates.

But I think they gave me this big award to me...

because I did "Mom's Diary" too this year.

I really like those who are good to my family members.

Whenever my mom comes back after the shoot,

she says Dong Yeob and Jang Hoon are so nice to her.

Whenever I heard that, I felt so grateful to both of them.

That's why I mentioned them when I talked about the Grand Award.

When I meet fans who are as old as my mom,

they often say that I'd be happy to get more popular thanks to my mom.

Come to think of it, including the moment I was born,

everything nice that happened to me was thanks to my mom.

I'll be a good son to her until the end.

I'll try harder. Oh, to my father too.

He is quite upset because I only talk about my mom all the time.

Thank you so much, Mom and Dad.

Thank you for bringing me up as I am.

I'd like to thank all the production crew too.

I'll try my best as always.

Thank you. Thank you, dear my fans.

I appreciate it.

He didn't forget to say thanks to his fans too.

He was selected by the producers who work with him.

(What you are the most curious about right now!)

(Number 1 in ratings and number 1 in popularity)

(The best variety show on SBS, in 2018)

(The competition has never been fiercer before.)

(Who will be the winner of the Grand Award tonight?)

(SBS Entertainment Awards)

SBS Entertainment Awards.

Who will be the final winner?

Let's find out, everyone.

I'm on the site of a festival now.

Who will receive the Grand Award of SBS Entertainment Awards?

Let's look into it to the core with me, Boom.

(Boom's Power Interview)

Let me go to the "Running Man" team first.

Let's liven up the mood.

Here is... Oh, hello.

You must be the owner of this club.

Hello. Nice to meet you.

We cast a vote a moment ago.

Whom did you guys pick by intuition?

Let's find it out from now.

This is a man I really like.

Yu Jae Seok is sitting next to me.

- Nice to see you. - Nice to see you.

You're congratulating the winners for a long time now.

There is only the winner of the Grand Award left now.

You're right.

Please pass me the ballet box.

Please pick one yourself.

- Do I count the ballots? - No.

It doesn't have much to do with the winner of the Grand Award.

- It's just who you have in mind. - I see.

You should be careful here

since Kwang Soo is filming "The War of Flower 3" now.

Oh, I see. I'm sorry.

Never pass the ballot box to this side.

- I will never. - Okay.

- Please pick one yourself. - Let me...

- pick one. - Go.

Who will it be?

It's Baek Jong Won.

Jong Won received one vote.

Jong Won got one vote. I'll be there in a moment.

- Please wait for me, sir. - It was the secret ballot,

but Sang Min's name is on it like this.

It was the secret ballot, but Sang Min wrote his name here.

Come on.

It means he wants to do "Baek Jong Won's Alley Restaurants" together

Doesn't he know what the secret ballot means?

It means he wants to join the show.

- It does? - Yes.

- I see. - Goodness.

Here is the second one.

The second one? Oh, you're picking more than one.

- Yes. - It must be fun, right?

- I want to see my name too. - Okay.

Now, Jong Won got one vote.

- CEO Baek Jong Won. - Oh, Baek Jong Won.

- Goodness. - Gosh.

Now, he received two votes.

I'll move over there in a moment.

- Please pick one more. - Again?

- Okay. - Since we don't give up easily.

- I see. - He says to pick another color.

All right.

It's Baek Jong Won.

Hold on.

Well... Could you read this one?

- Okay. - Please.

- It's folded just once. - Since we don't give up.

Yu Jae Seok. Come on.

- Yes! Come on. - Come on.

- I think they're not evenly mixed. - Come on.

"Yu Jae Seok"... Oh, wait.

- Thank you. - This handwriting...

seems quite familiar.

I was also surprised that it looked like mine,

- But it's not, right? - but it's not.

- Thank goodness. - We opened...

the ballot box.

There are many people who want to know how Jae Seok really feels.

How does Jae Seok really feel inside?

So we are going to use the digital system of SBS.

We have advanced technology.

- With this... - Technology? Your pronunciation...

- I'm sorry. - It's okay.

- It's late at night. - You're right.

I brought this device.

- What is this? - You know I'm a radio show DJ.

This will reveal your innermost heart.

It's a button for the sound of your innermost heart.

Can you find it out with this?

- That's right. - Great.

Who will be the winner of the Grand Award?

- When you press this button, - Yes?

your innermost heart will be revealed.

- So I just press it? - Yes, that's right.

- All right. - It's connected by Wi-Fi.

It looks like it's been roughly taped with friction tape.

- We barely managed to get it. - Okay.

- Press the button. - I'll do as you tell me to do.

Who will be the winner of the Grand Award? Please press the button!

It's me, Yu Jae Seok

That's right, It's me, Yu Jae Seok

So this is your innermost heart.

- It's me, it's me - Come on!

You really want it.

- Come on! - It's me, it's me

- Come on! - How was it?

That was exact. This is my heart.

That's right.

Hello President.

President.

It seems like you are the president of SBS.

- Do you want to press the button? - Yes.

You can't, it's not ready.

But since we are curious,

- do you want to press it? - Shall we?

Really.

Let's see what Jee Seok Jin really thinks.

Press the button!

There's no chance

That's it.

Now, that's...

So baby bye bye bye

Hold on, there's no chance. That was exact!

- It was exact. - Yes, it is.

- That's what we've been saying. - I see.

He should rest for this year.

- There's no chance... - Goodness.

- Are you okay? - Yes.

With the ballot box...

I will move on.

Please stay tuned.

Who will win the SBS Grand Award?

Please stay with us.

Butlers, butlers of "All the Butlers".

Nice to see you, please move over a little bit.

So I can join you guys.

What a nice atmosphere.

Lee Seung Gi, take the ballot box...

Me?

Many people are voting for Baek Jong Won.

Yes, that's right.

- Lee Seung Gi, please take one out. - It's pink.

The Grand Award chosen by celebrities.

Who got the vote?

Yu Jae Seok, it's you.

- It's you. - It's you.

- Let's see another one. - All right.

Let's see. He went in deep.

- All right. - Oh, this person!

- Who is it? What? - This person!

This person is the winner for this part.

Is that so?

- In Gyo Jin. - In Gyo Jin!

I think So Yi Hyun wrote this.

So Yi Hyun, thank you.

- This is a wife's help. - Pardon?

- This is truly a wife's help. - That's right.

- It's obvious. - It's obvious.

- Her handwriting. - Yes, it's her handwriting.

There are many senior nominees for the Grand Award.

If your senior wins the award,

are you thinking about yielding?

I don't think to, I will definitely yield.

Although it was a secret vote,

a while ago, the ballot that Jae Seok took out was mine.

- Is that so? - Yes.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say this. It's not an SBS show,

but I'm in a show that will start next year with Jae Seok,

I realized why he was the national host.

- You were touched. - Yes, I deeply realized that.

Today, I just came to enjoy.

So you can yield the Grand Award.

- Of course. - Let's see if he's sincere.

- I'm sure. - Yang Se Hyeong don't you envy him?

I shouldn't be wishing for this award.

- It's given from above. - It's an amazing button.

With your two hands together.

- Can you yield the award? - Yes, I don't lie.

Can you yield the award? Please press the button.

It's a lie, a lie, a lie

- It's a lie - Seung Gi.

This is exact.

Seung Gi, this is exact.

Today, your outfit tells me that you are the winner.

- Your outfit is telling me. - No, seriously...

Just in case.

- I see. - I wore it just in case.

He's wearing a two-button velvet suit. It's for the Grand Award.

- I wore it just in case. - I see.

In technical terms, is it called a collar?

- Yes. - It's very big.

This also tells me that you are the winner of the Grand Award.

Okay, thank you.

Let's see how the result will come out.

All right, I'll be enjoying the show.

Se Hyeong, do you want to try...

You never know what's going to come out, but do you want to try?

- Yes. - Are you curious?

- Yes. - Now...

Se Hyeong's innermost heart.

Please press the button!

There's no chance

It's the same joke.

How mean!

We didn't prepare that many songs.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Now, after "All the Butlers"...

Kim Sook and the "Mom's Diary" team,

and the "Same Life, Unlike Dreams 2" Team are here all together.

The master of variety shows.

He's definitely the master.

Let me interview a wonderful man, Shin Dong Yeob.

You look like a man from a conglomerate family...

who came to a lounge bar by himself.

I came with an easy mind today.

You are wearing a made-to-order suit today.

That's right, without a great expectation,

I came to celebrate others with a comfortable mind.

I've seen you going up the stage to give flowers to the winners.

You also gave them warm hugs.

Are you aiming for the Achievement Award?

- I'm a bit young for that. - You're too young for that.

It looks like you also want the Grand Award.

Please vote.

Trust your guts.

A vote...

Let's see who the master of variety shows has picked.

Who is it?

- Shin Dong Yeob. - It's Shin Dong Yeob!

My goodness, thank you.

I wanted to pick the one I wrote.

The face on this ballot with cornered eyes must be him.

- No, it's not. - He definitely wrote this.

With his eyes, mouth, and nose cornered into the middle, it's him.

- Am I wrong? - Yes, I didn't write that.

- Really? - I wrote someone else.

Then, although it's from a different channel,

like that music show, please cast your vote.

Should I?

He's the world champion of voting.

Now,

the winner of the Grand Award is...

Seo Jang Hoon!

Seo Jang Hoon!

- Seriously. - Yes, it's Seo Jang Hoon.

- I didn't write that down. - I see.

Seo Jang Hoon deserves it too.

He's on two shows.

He's loved by the viewers.

There's no chance

No, it's not going to be that song. Please press the button.

Press the button.

Take it, please take it!

Basketball Grand Festival. Seo Jang Hoon!

I didn't know this song was going to come out.

- Now, Shin Dong Yeob. - Yes.

Only the 2018 Grand Award is left.

To be honest,

would you accept it gratefully if it is presented to you?

Of course, if they give it to me, I'd be thankful.

- You'd totally accept it? - I'd gladly accept it.

But in my heart, I thought of one person.

I thought he'd get it, so I wrote him down.

I won't say who it is, because it's a secret vote.

All right, let's see if he's sincere.

The winner of the Grand Award.

Please press the button.

But today, I've been watching So Min and Kwang Soo.

I found out a scary truth.

What did you find out?

They are in a relationship.

Viewers, there's news just before the Grand Award winner is announced!

That's right, I kept watching them.

I'm sure that they're in a relationship.

They are also enjoying what others are saying about them.

How will they be excited to see each other in secret?

They must really enjoy it.

You're the professional in that field.

- Can you tell? - Yes.

At first, I thought they were being like that for entertainment.

But I found out they weren't.

I'd like to congratulate them.

A congratulating message is sent from Table 3.

I hope you'd accept it from Table 1.

Now...

I think Kwang Soo wants to talk.

Dong Yeob's prediction is usually very accurate.

You seem extremely surprised.

- It's not true. - It's not?

Seriously, it's not true.

- It's not? - No.

He's almost crying.

That means they went out and they broke up.

- No, we didn't, we never went out. - Goodness.

I see, Dong Yeob is totally playing with them.

Dong Yeob is quickly casting a vote.

The last...

Coincidentally, this is mine.

Really? That's your handwriting?

It's Baek Jong Won!

Let's go.

- Then I'll move on the next alley. - Okay.

This show was loved by many people.

He has given small business owners...

the support and encouragement.

I have Baek Jong Won here with me.

Are you enjoying this party with all the stars?

Do you have any favorite show?

- I like them all. - I see.

Do you also watch "Mom's Diary"?

I'd like to, but I can't. I'm too busy.

Is that so?

You also cast your secret vote.

May I ask you to pick one out?

- So... - Let me...

Let's see who he has picked.

- Yuk Seong Jae. - Yuk Seong Jae.

- Did you write me? - He's surprised.

He's really surprised.

- Is this your handwriting? - No.

- No. - No?

Yuk Seong Jae...

It looks like a woman's handwriting.

It's a woman's handwriting.

This team...

works hard for the local businesses.

You must be hoping for the Grand Award. Am I right?

Why? Seong Jae could get the Grand Award.

No, I meant you.

- Me? - Yes.

No. I'm not after the Grand Award. I can't get it.

You only work hard for the local businesses.

Let's see if what he said is true.

He can press this button.

This button will reveal the truth.

It's good that I brought this.

Please press the button.

So did he really mean it?

An alley? Oh, my gosh.

He will continue to work hard for the local businesses.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Thank you. - He's thinking about the alleys.

Goodness. He's very honest.

But we still have to ask them to pick each vote.

Let's ask Gyo Jin this time.

Let me interview him for a second.

Did you vote, Gyo Jin?

- Yes. - Please hold up your microphone.

- I did. - Who did you vote for?

- I voted for Seo Jang Hoon. - You're saying the name right away.

You're too nice. I can ask you anything.

Please pick one still.

Who is the one on Gyo Jin's mind?

- Who is it? - It's someone I really like.

- It's Lee Seung Gi. - Lee Seung Gi!

He's wearing a man's suit. A man's tuxedo.

It's the tuxedo of the Grand Award winner.

Please say a word to Seung Gi.

Seung Gi and I were recently on a variety show together.

He's really passionate and works really hard.

- I thought he was the best. - Right.

Gyo Jin roots for Seung Gi with all his heart.

- This is a beautiful night, right? - Yes.

- Are you enjoying it? - It's a beautiful...

- How is it for you? - I won an award.

You did get the award. Congratulations.

Thank you.

We just heard what many people are thinking inside.

Right now, through the sketchbook of the staff,

the names of interviewees are showing up.

This means that...

they want me run out the clock.

This is the fun part of a live broadcasting show.

I will now approach Yuk Seong Jae.

Seong Jae has prepared...

an acrostic poem using the word, "Grand Award".

He has specially prepared...

an acrostic poem for the viewers.

Please give him a round of applause!

- Yes, I've prepared it. - You're tightly grabbing the mic...

for your senior entertainers.

- Here you go. - Gosh, this is...

Please say the word together. "Grand".

"Grand".

Grand Award Winner, Seung Gi!

"Grand Award Winner, Seung Gi!" That was great!

- "Award". - Award Winner forever!

"Forever"!

He has great energy. That was awesome.

- Please pick one, Seong Jae. - Me? Okay.

The person that Seong Jae thinks will win.

Who's the person on his mind?

- Do you like the person? - Of course.

What's the person like in your opinion?

I think people of my age learn a lot from that person.

- His fashion sense is great? - Yes, of course.

- He has a great wit? - Yes, he does.

I also learn many other aspects from this person.

- Who is it? - It's Shin Dong Yeob.

Including Dong Yeob, we have...

We have the poll result.

I want to go up the stage now.

I'll go up the stage.

I'll go to the MC stand.

- That was great. - He bought us...

- enough time. - He did well.

- Soo Hong will join you. - You should do it, Soo Hong.

- 1, 2, 3 steps toward Soo Hong. - I'll do what I can.

- You must do it. - I've arrived at where Soo Hong is.

How much time do we have left?

- We have so much time left. - We have much time.

We went too fast with the awards earlier.

- We did? - We have much time left.

- That's why... - Our hosting must've been neat.

- Yes, that's one of the reasons. - Okay.

Who's the person... Earlier, Soo Hong showed...

his greed for the award.

Please pick one.

I didn't look forward to winning at all since I'm the MC.

But you won an award, Jong Kook, when you're an MC.

- That's when I... - That's when you...

- I'll pick one now. - You started to have greed.

Will he pick his own name?

- Who is it? - Our colleagues chose the nominees.

That's right. Your colleagues are the ones who chose them.

- It's Lee Seung Gi. - Lee Seung Gi.

There are three colleagues next to him right now,

and someone else picked him other than those three.

The staff was worried about...

how only one person would be picked.

They were concerned whether to keep picking if just one person's picked.

The votes dispersed equally.

Nobody can guess who will win the Grand Award.

At first, we thought Jong Won was most likely to win.

But then Jae Seok, Dong Yeob,

and Seung Gi's names are mentioned.

- They're all likely to win. - What's certain is that...

- Soo Hong's name isn't mentioned. - It's not.

I feel betrayed by my colleagues.

It's not like that. You can treat dinner today.

Pardon? What are you saying?

- Something nice. All right. - Okay.

- I'll now approach Jong Kook. - Me?

Jong Kook has been working hard...

in both "Running Man" and "Mom's Diary".

There must be so much time left seeing how you came to talk to me.

There's a rumor that you're an employee of SBS.

Then they should give me the employee ID card.

- Please pick one. - Shall I?

- All right. - All right. Who could it be?

This is Jong Kook's choice. Who did he pick?

It's folded just once.

- This is just... - It's a tight match.

It's strange, isn't it?

Here's the person I picked.

It's Dong Yeob!

- Yes. - It's Dong Yeob.

Can he smile brightly until the end?

- Right. - Or will he go and have a drink?

- I know. - Please stay tuned to find out.

- I know. - Please press the button.

- Me? Do you have Turbo's song? - Yes.

- We want to know what you think. - What I think?

Come on. This is digital.

- Okay. Here I go. - This is what Jong Kook thinks.

Please press it.

Please lip-sync to the song.

There was a man

Who loved you much

What a sweet voice.

That man will be revealed to you soon.

Who's the Grand Award winner?

Please stay tuned and root for the winner.

This was Boom.

- All right! - Thank you. You did great.

Please give it up for Boom again.

- You did great. - That was really...

All of the greatest stars were mentioned.

- I know. - My heart pounded hard...

every time they picked the names.

It was as if they were announced as the real winners.

- Now, tonight... Actually, - Right.

SBS' variety shows were loved much by the viewers.

- Especially this year. - Right.

We only have the Grand Award awaiting for us.

Many people must be looking forward to it.

I'm nervous. Are you nervous as well?

- I'm actually not. - Are you not nervous at all?

Why is that?

You know why. My name wasn't even included.

I don't want to be mentioned in the news tomorrow.

- Your hands are sweating so much. - Sorry?

- What's happening? - I have hyperhidrosis.

Really?

If they give me the award, I might burst into tears.

- You aren't sad or upset, are you? - Pardon?

I'm not sad or upset.

My colleagues worked so hard, so I'm not sad.

- They should get the award. - That's right.

Let's find out who's going to win the Grand Award tonight.

The Grand Award will be presented by Director Nam Seung Yong,

the chief director of the variety shows department,

and Song Ji Hyo of "Running Man".

Hello, I'm Nam Seung Yong from the variety shows department.

(Nam Seung Yong, Song Ji Hyo)

Hello, I'm Song Ji Hyo.

Director Nam, I haven't seen you for a long time.

Right. It's been so long, Ji Hyo.

I'm reminded of the 1st shoot of "Running Man" 8 years ago...

because I'm standing next to you.

That was eight years ago?

I remember how it rained so hard on the day of our first shoot.

I can't believe "Running Man" has been airing for eight years.

I'm quite proud of it.

As one of the producers of "Running Man",

I had no idea viewers would love the show for such a long time.

I know you're going through a lot, but please do well on the show.

Please take care of us too, Director Nam.

Well, Director Nam.

SBS did so well this year.

It must've been a great year for you as a director.

All of this is thanks to...

the entertainers who did their best despite difficult circumstances.

And it's all thanks to every staff member as well.

I want to sincerely thank them.

As one of the viewers,

I'll look forward to more entertaining shows.

Now, only the Grand Award awaits us.

I'm really curious to know who will win the award.

Director Nam, please announce the winner.

All right.

The staff is telling me we have much time left.

Shall we try kill some time?

Shall we?

I peeked and saw the winner's name.

I'll announce the winner.

SBS Entertainment Awards. The Grand Award winner.

Lee Seung Gi from "All the Butlers"!

Congratulations!

Seung Gi is...

the winner of the Grand Award.

Congratulations!

- "All the Butlers". - Congratulations.

It's a very popular show.

Jae Seok's very happy for him.

Dong Yeob's congratulating him too.

He's happy for Seung Gi.

It's his first variety show...

after he's done with the army service.

Now, he won the Grand Award too.

Congratulations!

Mr. Nam hugged him too.

Seung Gi worked so hard...

for "All the Butlers" this year.

He's the Grand Award Winner.

It was fun and touching.

It's a party for "All the Butlers".

Se Hyeong received the Top Excellence Award too.

His fellow members also won awards including Sang Yoon.

- That's right. - Everyone won an award.

Everyone won an award.

You are right.

Please tell us how you feel.

(Lee Seung Gi)

Well...

Thank you.

I'm a bit shocked.

My heart's beating fast.

I feel sick all of a sudden.

I don't know how to start with my speech.

Well...

It was just something really vague. I dreamed of getting an award...

like this one here tonight since I was young.

Dreaming is the most exciting part.

But getting this amazing award gives me so much responsibility.

I'm having mixed feelings...

going through right now.

First of all,

I know that...

I couldn't receive this award on my own.

I know it better than anyone else.

There are many respectable seniors right in front of me.

With all my respect to Jae Seok, Dong Yeob...

and many other fellow entertainers,

I know that there are many other great people who deserve this,

including Ho Dong, who must be watching this.

I learned a lot from them.

I learned from them while I was in variety shows with them.

What I learned from them...

helped me to be who I am now.

I'm only here because of those who taught me.

Thank you all for being nice.

I didn't get this award because of my talent.

I got this award...

because of the masters in "All the Butlers".

Their lives, experiences...

philosophies and beliefs are all shown on the show.

That's how we were able to move our viewers.

I think this award has all the things I just said.

That's why this is meaningful to me.

It's my first time to get the Grand Award on my own.

This is the year-end,

and I hope you can bear with my speech.

First of all, I want to thank...

the main producer, Lee Se Young.

She's my friend and my colleague. I respect her a lot.

Thank you so much.

Whenever our show was on air,

I called her every Sunday as if I was repenting of my sins.

We talked for 1 or 2 hours every week.

We shared the weakness of each episode.

We also talked about the parts we want to improve on.

We talked for such long hours. I know I bugged her a lot.

But she accepted my suggestions and made our show better.

I'd like to say thank you to our producer again.

Weekend variety shows mean a lot to me.

I started this just a year ago,

and it got so popular...

because of everyone on the show.

Producer Kim Jeong Wook and Han Bi In worked hard together.

Producer Choi Hyung In and the rest of the staff...

and the script writers like Yeong Jong, Ji Seung...

and Hee Jin worked so hard for this.

I'm sorry I can't call everyone's name.

I'm sorry about that.

And...

I'm a very passionate guy.

But this man's more passionate than me. I learn a lot from him.

He's always out with us and monitors for us. It's Director Choi Yong In.

I really learned a lot from you. Thank you so much.

I'm lucky that I have great people around me.

There are many nice seniors and juniors.

My fellow works are also great. I love my members here.

Sang Yoon overcame the fear of joining a variety show.

I know I lost my role model,

but I have a brother now. Seong Jae's my brother.

"All the Butlers" couldn't have been loved this much...

if it weren't for Se Hyeong.

Thank you.

I'd like to say thank you...

to this person...

since I'm here with this award.

I'm so lucky to know this man.

He's the role model of my life.

It's Kwon Jin Young from Hook Entertainment.

I would like to thank Jin Young.

She must be watching this.

She brought me to the company...

since I was nameless in high school.

She helped me to make my debut as a singer.

When I first started with variety shows,

I was very scared.

I wanted to run away.

I always thought, "Can I do well in the variety shows?"

I was always frustrated.

Jin Young always cheered me up. She said, "You can do it."

"You'll be successful as a singer, an actor and an entertainer..."

"after 10 years."

We practiced on improvisations before I shot the variety shows...

overnight at the basement of the entertainment agency.

I can tell that I'm only here...

because she spent long years waiting for me.

Thank you so much, again.

Jin Young helped me...

to choose this show too.

I don't know how to thank her enough.

I'm always grateful for her.

I want to keep working with her.

I want to take this moment...

to share this honor with her.

I'm almost done.

- You can take your time. - Thank you.

I've never changed my entertainment agency before.

I want to thank Choi Sun Hee, Jung Soo Kyung and Jung Hak Joo.

I want to also thank Saet Byul, Bo Sung,

Han Kook, Hair and Makeup Team, and Styling Team.

Thank you, Hyun Chang. I'm grateful for everyone.

I'm here because of them.

I know I'm a busy celebrity with a lot of plans.

They never had the chance to go on a break.

But they stayed with me without complaining.

I want to thank everyone.

My parents love...

"All the Butlers" a lot.

I've never thanked my parents like this.

Thank you for raising me...

in a loving family.

I thank my parents.

I want to say thanks...

to my sister, Seo Hyun.

Lastly, I want to thank my fans. Are you all here?

I'm only here because of you.

Thank you so much for always being with me.

This is the last one for real.

Ho Dong's the one who taught me how to do well in variety shows.

I was told that I must end this with a famous quote.

I'm starting to feel pressured.

Since I think about it,

I remember a saying that touched my heart this year.

"You learn things as you go, and you realize things as you try."

When I chose to join...

"All the Butlers",

many people were worried.

They wondered why I passed on the chance to work in...

on a show I was familiar with and with the people I know.

They worried about the fact that...

I was still adjusting to the society after finishing my military duty,

yet I was trying something completely new.

Many people worried on my behalf,

and I was also uneasy and didn't trust myself.

But as I went on,

I learned new things.

And as I spent time with the members and staff,

I realized a new energy.

Just like that saying, I won't be afraid of trying new things...

in the upcoming year, 2019.

And just like the variety show seniors,

like Jae Seok and Dong Yeob here,

Just as all these amazing seniors...

challenged themselves,

I will follow in their path...

and rather than take the safe road,

despite the fear of failing,

I will take steps to go in my own direction.

I hope you cheer for me to pick up that courage.

Thank you. Happy New Year.

Everyone...

who joined us today is getting up right now.

Please come to the stage...

- and greet the viewers. - Please come to the stage.

We should close today's event with a goodbye.

Congratulations.

We congratulate you once more.

Would you say something as we greet a new year?

Happy New Year, everyone. Thank you.

We are always waiting...

for a new master to serve on "All the Butlers".

Please give us a call. Thank you.

- Thank you. - Seung Gi...

Actually, we had some more time since we rushed with the opening.

But he made up for that time with a lengthy acceptance speech.

- It was good. - He sure has talent.

Everyone here has stepped onto the stage...

in order to greet the viewers.

Everyone is on the stage now.

Jae Seok, what do you think of today's event?

First of all, I would like to thank the viewers...

for being with us for so long.

I would also like to congratulate everyone for winning awards,

including Seung Gi.

And next year,

we'll try even harder to make you laugh more.

I thank everyone once more at this late hour.

Happy New Year. Thank you.

Shin Dong Yeob is here too.

Please say a word.

Even I thought that the award would go...

to Baek Jong Won or Lee Seung Gi.

And Seung Gi won the award. I congratulate him once more.

And his speech was great too.

I hope to see him improve...

as time continues to go on.

I also thank you...

for finishing this event relatively early...

by hosting the show so smoothly.

- That means so much for us. - Thank you.

We're live at Sangam SBS Prism Tower...

for SBS Entertainment Awards.

We thank the viewers once more...

for giving us so much love this year.

We will try harder...

to present the viewers more joy next year.

We will finish here as we thank the viewers...

for being with us until such a late hour.

Shall we say, "Happy New Year"?

Okay, viewers.

- Happy New Year! - Happy New Year!
