Hello, everyone.

This is 2018 KBS Song Festival...

and I am your host, Chanyeol of EXO.

I am Dahyun of TWICE.

I am Jin of BTS. It's good to see you.

We welcome everyone to 2018 KBS Song Festival,

which is upbeat from the start.

The opening performance of 2018 KBS Song Festival...

was given by a group that took the music industry by storm.

These women became celebrities just like the title of their song.

It was Celeb Five along with WJSN...

and about 200 artists of the day opened the show.

Like the performances you watched, this year's KBS Song Festival has...

a variety of fun and the theme is Grand Fantasy Party.

Please don't miss out on the performances...

and find out how this theme is displayed.

Grand Fantasy Party will unfold...

at 2018 KBS Song Festival.

Which artists are here with us?

We have the top two teams on "Music Bank's K-Chart"...

with combined score from album sales,

Digital Music Charts, and number of broadcasts.

We also have artists who received a lot of love...

from the fans.

Aren't you excited to find out which performances will unfold?

- Yes! - Yes!

My heart already goes, pit-a-pat, pit-a-pat, heart, heart

I am so excited.

Shall we now begin Grand Fantasy Party...

that we prepared for you?

These artists announced the emergence of rookie groups...

with their talent and performance.

(G)I-DLE and THE BOYZ are getting ready to take the stage.

This is 2018 KBS Song Festival you have dreamed of.

Shall we check out the next performance?

That was MOMOLAND just now.

- Bboom, bboom from my head - Bboom, bboom

- Bboom, bboom to my toes - Bboom, bboom

I can still hear the melody ringing in my ears.

From the addictive "Bboom Bboom" and "Ring Ding Dong" by SHINee...

to "U R Man" by SS501,

we heard the final volume...

of the songs that are too addictive for high school seniors.

In 2018, many groups were greatly loved...

for their songs with addictive melodies.

Meanwhile, there are artists who showed off incredible performances.

That's right. So let's go ahead and hear from...

those who will deliver some amazing performances.

First up is the successful solo female artist...

who has been continuing the trend of charismatic females.

It's Chungha.

We'll also hear from NCT 127 who commands the stage...

with their dominating performances.

- Here we go. - Go!

(Cringing)

It's embarrassing.

(The embarrassment doesn't go away.)

Please look forward to it.

(Shownu, the robot)

Gosh, that came out so weird.

Please look forward to it.

(Even he thinks it's hilarious.)

(What about an idol singer of 7 years?)

Did you know?

At 2018 KBS Song Festival,

2018 KBS Song Festival...

is full of fantastic performances...

to satisfy what all artists and viewers dreamed together.

Then why don't we, the MCs, start giving hints...

about the performances we have prepared?

I would like to watch Dahyun's performance.

Just like myself,

I gathered pure and lovely girls...

to prepare a very special performance.

Shall I give you a hint?

What is that hint?

- Surprise. - Gosh, what is that?

Can you imagine the next performance?

This candy seems familiar.

Chanyeol, you can't give out the answer.

The cute performance that Dahyun has prepared will be revealed soon,

so please stay tuned, everyone.

Shall we continue with the other performances?

Yes, the music industry of 2018...

was full of songs...

with touching lyrics that captured many fans' hearts.

From the songs by BTOB, which immersed us in emotions,

to WJSN, who showed their earnest hearts with "Save Me, Save You".

In the waiting room are Choi Won Myeong...

And Kei of Lovelyz.

The atmosphere has heated up at 2018 KBS Song Festival.

There is a reason why we are here, right?

Among the 200 artists who are performing today...

Your dazzling looks blind my eyes

We are with four artists with dazzling looks.

Let's meet four handsome men who prepared a special stage.

- Hello. - Hello.

- In 1, 2, 3. Hello. - Hello.

It's unique to see four members from different groups come together.

Do you have a new group name?

I came up with one on my own.

How about B.V.F.V.?

- What does it stand for? - Blessed Visual,

(Jinyoung of GOT7, Minhyuk of MONSTA X,)

Flawless Visual. How does that sound?

(Jaehyun of NCT 127, Hwang Min Hyun of Wanna One)

- That sounds nice. - That's good.

- Thank you. - The name suits you very well.

Tell us how the four of you came together.

For 2018 KBS Song Festival,

we came together to give a special performance.

It's an honor to work with these amazing artists.

I can't wait to check out this unique group's performance.

Would you give us a sneak peek?

We prepared a song that will captivate women's hearts.

Please check out the details when we take the stage.

Our performance will take place in Part Two.

There will be other special performances...

throughout the show.

Don't miss them.

- Stay tuned. - Stay tuned.

("The Only Star" by Hwang Chi Yeul)

("The Only Star" by Hwang Chi Yeul)

You have watched a performance by Hwang Chi Yeul,

an artist with a mellow voice that captivates women's hearts.

We also got a look at a group that wants to be called B.V.F.V.

Won Myeong and Kei met the members,

who are preparing for a special performance,

in our stead beforehand.

They are tall.

They are handsome as well.

I am excited about the performance by these four members...

who are as handsome as us.

I can hardly wait to find out...

what kind of a performance they prepared.

Although I am a man, my heart is fluttering.

The fans must be waiting for them very eagerly.

Please wait a bit longer for the four handsome men.

Come to think of it, where is Dahyun?

Judging by how she disappeared...

with the candy she was holding,

I have a hunch.

It means a special performance is approaching.

I can't wait to find out which artists gathered...

for this special performance.

A special performance you can see only on 2018 KBS Song Festival...

- starts now. - Starts now.

("Dejavu" by NU'EST W)

("Help Me" by NU'EST W)

("Dejavu" and "Help Me" by NU'EST W)

That was the multi-talented group, NU'EST W.

The lovely "Kissing You" performance seemed like one...

that was comprised of fairies from different groups.

If I may dare make a prediction,

I think this 2018 version of "Kissing You"...

will become a hot topic and land on the most-searched list.

Dahyun, how popular do you think your performance will be?

Of course, I'd love for it to become the top-searched keyword.

However, this is not the end of the special performances...

on today's show.

There will be many more of them throughout tonight.

That is correct. 2018 KBS Song Festival...

is a Grand Fantasy Party.

- Jin. - Yes?

What kinds of fantasies do you have?

My fantasy is to be able to show my charms...

to the audience on the stage tonight.

What about you, Chanyeol?

For me, it's EXO's supernatural powers.

Please look forward to EXO's supernatural performance.

This time, we have...

another special performance that follows "Kissing You".

I would like to say these ladies are like beautiful queens.

Let's see which members have gathered together this time.

- Here we go! - Here we go!

Welcome back. In the waiting room are Choi Won Myeong...

And Kei.

It's quite fascinating to see these K-pop artists...

on a different stage than that of "Music Bank K-Chart".

This next group...

celebrates the 505th day since its debut.

It's Wanna One!

- Hello. - Hello.

- 2, 3. All I want to do. - All I want to do.

- Hello, we're Wanna One. - Hello, we're Wanna One.

All right. Thank you for that.

Just like we did last year,

we meet you once again on KBS Song Festival.

How does it feel to be here this time?

We're grateful to be called back to perform at an event this big.

I also wish to thank everyone who enjoyed our songs this year too.

It's the biggest festival of all.

We're having a blast at 2018 KBS Song Festival...

as we perform on stage with many other K-pop artists.

There are only a few days left in 2018 now.

I wonder how much this year meant to you.

We did our best

To me and my teammates, 2018 was a golden year.

We all want to thank everyone...

for their love and support.

Meanwhile, we also intend to show you...

just how hard we worked through our performances.

We will take the stage together and separately,

so please look forward to us.

I'm curious to see what you've prepared.

Could we perhaps get a sneak peek?

Sure, but I'll keep it short.

Tonight, the star is me, it's me, it's me

- Is that it? - Yes.

Although it was short, you'll know what it was all about...

at the end of Part One for today's show,

so please look forward to it.

Please don't go anywhere since Wanna One will perform shortly.

Next is an artist that won over fans with their sexiness and charisma.

Taking the stage is MONSTA X.

- Music, cue. - Cue.

2018 KBS Song Festival.

We only have one last artist to perform in Part One.

This next performance also holds a special meaning.

That's right. Every artist performing today...

has a performance of a fantasy...

that they always dreamed of doing.

On 2018 KBS Song Festival,

they have prepared performances to fulfill those fantasies.

There are more special performances in Part Two of our show,

so please stay tuned.

Then shall we see whose fantasies have been brought to reality?

- Here we go. - Go.
