pastoral and spiritual life.

It is wonderful to see

through his passionate commitment

been buoyed up by the warmth

and support of his friendship

and, yes, it has to be said,
by his sharp rebuke

if you did not meet the
high standard he set out for you.

A standard he set out for himself.

And once rebuked, never forgotten.
