I want to tell you
about an adventure

that took place
50 years ago,

the Acali experiment.

The year was 1973.

An anthropologist
named Santiago Genoves

handpicked to disagree.

He put them on a raft
and floated them
out to sea

to see if people
under pressure

could put their
differences aside

and pull together
for a common goal.

What better time
than now

to redo
Genoves' experiment,

but in a way that fits
our complicated
modern times.
