is very intimidating

a lot of power.

You know, he wants to make us
suffer more.

You know we all, as humans,
have a side that can come out

when it's survival.

If they choose to take it
as kind of a game,

survival of the fittest, they
gotta do what they gotta do.

I can't take it personal.

Nathaniel tries to play off
as a nice guy

and tries to chitchat with me,
and I go with him,

but I see right through him.

Honestly, if they wouldn't
have cut us off of it,

we wouldn't have even
fought 'em for it.

But we had no other option.

Dabbing a resource means
you're bound to that area,

When I woke up today, my wrist
is still very, very sore.

After the challenge, I knew
I hurt my wrist right away.

I don't know if I sprained it,
pulled ligaments or whatever,

but it was so sore.

I knew I'd injured myself.
I just didn't know how bad.

MISSY: They knew she was
injured for the second game?

CHRISTINA: It was my choice.

was a little miserable.

Storm came in.

This is the first real rain
we've had

since being in Fiji.

I hunkered down with Sarah
at our fire camp shelter.

ROBBY: You know,
my strategy right now

is just take it one moment
at a time.

AFFTEN: I'm disappointed
with these palm choices.

The ones I get are bigger,

but they're all the way
at the other end.

SARAH: Well, we're gonna

But if it comes down to it,

and I have the opportunity
to work with the people

with whom I have
the greatest connection,

I can make my own shelter.

that's a good idea.

Afften absolutely
fell in love with the shelter,

and she wanted
to make it her own.

She did not, unfortunately,

contribute to its construction
in any way,

so I did have to kinda
boot her out.

I was kinda really
looking forward to just having

like a comfortable
two-person situation.

AFFTEN: I don't feel welcomed
over there at all, no.

I need a moment.

Like, that was pretty
frustrating.

Just gonna sit by myself
for a second.

YUDA: I'm always cooking
when I go camping.

And my camping meals
are like the next level.

My professional background
as a private chef,

My best fulfilling thing
that I do

is cooking for all my friends
and family.

I went to this stream
in Hawaii.

It's like a stream that has
these huge prawns inside of it.

[Stephanie gasps]

Like big, blue prawns,

so I do the surf 'n turf.

That sounds like my dreams,
like one of my dreams.

I'd love to prove to my dad
who's a refugee

and someone who has always
had to survive

and had to push through life,
I'd like to show him

that I can struggle
and I can push through

and I can persevere as well.

That's why I don't wanna
get locked down

in one of the camps, you know?

Because then you become like...
STEPHANIE: You have to

listen to them and, like...
-To everybody, like...

STEPHANIE:
Try to make them happy.

From the way my father raised
me, he raised me as a realist.

Survival can bring out in
certain people the ugly side.

I can play that game as well.

[percussive music]

MISSY: They need the shovel,
the machete, the fishing spear.

We have them all now.

Today, I think we pick
a smaller girl.

The word that came to mind
was axe.

Because...Stephanie
would be a easy fight,

but we don't the tool, and they
don't lose something necessary,

If we get the axe, everything
sharp and pointy on this island

that can kill something
is right here.

Taking the axe would be
taking their last tool

that they can use
to do anything.

And so I think the axe is
a beautiful thing to take.

'Cause when their tools
become irrelevant,

they will start to argue
amongst themselves,

because they already are.
MAKANI: Yeah.

Also, it's a fight
that won't exert much energy.

I think marathon, not a sprint.

The axe gives us a break.

J, the only guy
in my alliance,

is a little bit tired.

He's fatigued.
He's played two nights in a row.

In those days, because the drum
can only be hit once,

my guy can rest.

If J needs a break,
I'ma carry us.

I'll fight whoever
I need to fight.

I've entered in a survivalist
competition without the skills,

because I knew half of it
was in my wheelhouse,

and I'm always up for
a challenge.

I love pushing my body
past its limits.

is what's driving me.

I go in this competition today

I'm freezing my ass off.

The rain and the cold
and the shivering.

Honestly, I don't wanna

NATHANIEL: I found a cave.

It's the best shelter
here on the island.

The last two nights
were horrible.

who are doing everything

they need to do to make sure

the three of us
are working together.

We definitely have
our own survival game

as the rains continue.

The last two nights
have rained and poured.

Anybody on the coast
has been hurting badly.

So we made the most awesome
man cave in the wild.

'Cause we are about

quarter mile from the beach,

we're getting significantly
less wind.

So this is a really sweet spot.

SARAH: But we've gotta
get ya a fire up here.

We have somewhere to sleep.

It's crazy,
the pace of the game

and how fast your mind
has to move,

because we don't have
a proper shelter

and a fire that can withstand
some rain...

we might not survive.

I was given the opportunity

was a little rough
in the new shelter.

If I could get at least
a bunch of the elephant ear,

which is the most valuable
plant right now

for the roofing to get the water
to not get us all wet--

It's gonna be an upgrade
from a medium shelter

to the mansion,
and that'll be awesome.

J: Let me grab
a couple leaves.

YUDA: You can't take our leaves.

J: Well, you gotta do
what you gotta do.

Then no one gets it, yeah?

an inefficient way

of solving anything.
J: No problem.

I'm feeling depleted.

But we're trying to reinforce
this shelter right now

so we can at least prevent
against the wind and the rain.

it is gonna take a toll on me.

and he needs to kinda
come down a notch,

because rule one of survival
is conserve energy.

No matter how much food
you have,

no matter how much water
you have,

you have to conserve energy.
That is just rule number one.

YUDA: They haven't eaten

anything besides coconut.

They haven't had fire
in three days.

It's gonna creep up on them
