The naval battle in the Black Sea continues: this
time a large landing ship with a strange name,

which I will not try to repeat, was seriously
"wounded" as a result of a surface drone attack.

Russian officials at first bravely
reported "that all attacks were repelled",

but when it became clear from the video
that the ship "repelled" the attack with

its left side and "caught" the roll - they
admitted the failure of their defense.

But the main thing is not so much the fact of
the attack on one of the logistics ships of

the military bases in Crimea, but the place
where it happened - the bay of Novorossiysk,

a safe harbor in the rear and one of the
main bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Against the background of this news,
information about another attack by

Ukrainian surface drones that same
night - on an oil depot in Crimea,

where fuel supplies for the Russian
Black Sea Fleet are stored - looks muted.

Not so long ago, Putin threatened that the
"invincible" Black Sea Fleet would sink

even civilian ships if they sailed to Ukrainian
ports, including those flying the flag of other

countries. And hinted that such a fate will not
escape the foreign warships that will cover them.

"Playing with his muscles", Putin hinted at
Russia's hegemony in the Black Sea and the

invulnerability of its fleet in its eastern
part. But after this war, the history of

the Russian Black Sea Fleet is likely to
come to an end. Once again, but for good.

Having seriously damaged a Russian warship in
the "courtyard" of the Black Sea Fleet, Putin was

given a big "hello". And if he did not understand
the first time, then in the evening he was fixed

with a strike on a tanker that was carrying
aviation fuel to the Russian group in Syria.

It seems that «hegemony» of Russia remained
only in the heads of Putin and his minions,

and «red lines» turn into red
flags for corralling the beast.

And while we were all watching in almost real time
how the "tired" Dock landing ship was dragged to

eternal rest and scrolling the news after
the strike by sea drones on the tanker,

on land the Russians have another problem,
which is not being talked about very loudly...

Today we are talking about the enemy artillery,

it is important because it is one piece of the
puzzle affecting further events on the front !

After three months of
terrible losses in artillery,

the Russian military-industrial complex
was unable to compensate for these losses.

The fact is that the capacity of the Russian
military-industrial complex to remove from

conservation and restore towed barrel
artillery is within 300 units per month.

Until May 2023, this potential for towed
howitzers, especially taking into account peak

capabilities, fully not only covered the monthly
loss compensation requirements, but exceeded them!

In fact, the average loss rate of Russian troops'
barrel artillery for 14 months was 200 barrels.

Thanks to such indicators, the
Russian military-industrial complex,

without much strain, was able not only
to compensate each month's losses,

but also to increase its potential
by +100 barrels from time to time.

But in May everything changed. For 3 months, May,

June and July, the average losses of
barrel artillery amounted to 640 units.

That is, for 3 months not only the
standard volume corresponding to the

previous 14 months was destroyed, but also
exceeded this figure by more than 3 times,

thus leveling out the increase of the past period.

In the artillery forces of the enemy in this
regard begins to feel a serious imbalance.

The artillery still continues to fulfill its
functions at the expense of the created reserve,

but the reserve is already practically exhausted,
and the compensatory capabilities of the Russian

military-industrial complex will
not leap above its capabilities,

indicating huge problems around
the turn of August and September.

Well, if the dynamics continues,
it won't be long at all....
