I was afraid of the pig

because I had never
done that movement before.

I thought
the pig was very heavy.

Well, when we got to
the Capitol,

that's when things got
interesting.

It was very interesting
because everything we did,

all 200 meters, was just uphill.

It was very difficult,

especially when we had
to carry it on our backs

without breaking at all.

Everyone was just yelling,

and I wanted to say,
"Please, shut up."

"Once I pick it up,
then we can celebrate."

But people just screamed.

The emotions
were just incredible.

Apparently,
everyone was rooting for me.

Well, for me

I'm always nervous
to do handstand push-ups,

because they were
my weakness not so long ago.

But I worked very hard on them,
so here my work paid off.

I was really happy when
that workout was announced.

I might not be the best swimmer
out of all 40 athletes,

but when it's swimming combined
with Ski Erg, I already knew,

I was almost 100% sure
that I would win the event.

It was the easiest
workout for me,

because when we completed
the first round,

second, third,
fourth, fifth, sixth,

I didn't understand at all
why they were needed--

why we couldn't just do
the two rounds.

They could have done
four minutes

and it would have
been enough.

I didn't even know
how many calories

the other guys had done.

So I just gave 100%.

I liked that finally
there was no barbell.

We moved away
from weightlifting.

I am grateful
to Bozman for this,

that it was something new.

Well, when it started to rain,

I thought they would move it
to the Coliseum

and change it somehow.

But then at
the briefing they said

they would not change anything.

And we will do
everything in the rain.

Even if there was a rope--
I wanted a rope

because it is one of
my favorite movements--

I would have won
with the rope as well.

I made a little mistake

when I chose the wrong
height of the yoke for myself.

When we measured it, I couldn't
decide between seven and eight.

And chose the eight.

When I entered the arena,
the weight was not very heavy.

But after I had
already carried it

I realized
the yoke was too tall,

nearly clinging to the ground.

The only thing on
my mind was: just win.

Prove to yourself that

you will win this heat.

I really wanted to win.

I just didn't know
the time of Lazar,

because I didn't watch
the previous heat.

I gave 100% on
the bar muscle-ups,

and Justin got a little behind.

He surprised me,

but he did not have to be first,
there was nothing to lose.

He understood that even if
he let me go,

he would still be in first.

I was definitely
not happy with myself.

I didn't feel like celebrating,

because I wanted
to take first place.

I've been working on this
for a very long time,

long and hard.

to keep going.

that I did wrong.

any answers to that.

Of course,

when I stood on
the podium with my son,

for me it was
a very good feeling.

we didn't take first place,

but that was cool.
